It easily could. Just make it longer and wider. I was thinking the same , that if I made this it would be a wrap type shawl. U know what they say about great minds!
Well Crystal, you certainly have kept me busy making swatches! 😃This is SO simple and Oh SO Pretty!!! Simple....because you break things down in increments, and slowly demonstrate, step-by-step. Best Instructor EVER! Why we love ya❣️
Hi Crystal! This pattern is gorgeous. My niece has been looking for a table runner that is unique. I will be making this pattern for her. Thank you Crystal
This is looking easy enough! But I can never tell if when you are going into the stitch, if you go into first top loop only or do you go under both loops? I’m getting crazy obsessed on this point in all my projects! 🫣😵💫
WOW! I'm almost 79 and learned to crochet when I was 6. I remember using that stitch pattern in some doilies that I made for my grandma when I was 8! She couldn't read patterns, but I could, and it was in a book. I made 3 doilies. My daughter has 1 and I have 1. Who knows where the other one is. I love that pattern!
Crystal you make this stitch so easy.....What a talent you have for making sure you keep the tutorial simple to understand. You encourage us to try by giving the confidence that we can do it. I was looking for a tutorial for a summer top with a lacy appearance ....and here it is !!!!!! You did it again. Thank you.
Hello Crystal, woke up at 3 A.M ( I don't know why) anyway I found this this beautiful pattern your showing, I think this would make a beautiful shawel ❤
Years ago, i did a doily with the cobweb stitch. It looked a bit like this. It was fun to make, especially when i easily caught on to the pattern. This looks fun to do@
I love that stitch I made that into a wrap about 7yrs ago for my friend for a wedding she was going to. It was beautiful and so easy to do. Thanks Crystal I had forgotten about this. I did it in a #3 weight with a 4mm hook.
Beautiful!! I can’t wait to get started with this project. I love it when you say skip, skip, skip. You always make such beautiful things and explain them so well. Love From Your new Grandma Brenda ❤️
Crystal, I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen during the whole tutorial! This is very beautiful. I think I have the perfect yarn (a chocolate colored, really nice quality cotton) in my stash just waiting for this stitch pattern to turn it into a pretty tunic-length vest. Thank you :)
This is a beautiful stitch pattern. I love the laciness of it. You ice haul in the prior video was awesome. I wrote down every color number you showed. That’s something I don’t usually do.
my friend made a triangle shawl years ago that looked like this and i always loved it, sadly she is not living near me anymore. Her's was a triangle shawl, how would you increase in this stitch on either side to make it a triangle. I am not that versed in crochet to figure it at, I am a knitter and only dabble in crochet. Wonderful tutorials you have on this channel. Love that you talk about different yarn too.
can you talk about your process for doing crochet? How long does it take for you to complete a piece, does it take hours, and how do you find time between taking care of your family and making things for the chanel?
Questions: Would stitch be too Bulky if it was the 2nd layer, the 1st being single crochet in a clutch purse? This is very beautiful! Could this stitch be used between s aquares to create an Afghan, if so how would we go around each square? Last Question: I àm on round 61 of a dc circle blanket (I'm making large so my nephews can lay down on the floor with thier new baby brother and play and read to him too) is a stitch that would be good for the last round ? All Suggestions are Welcome. Thank You Very Much! Renae
Could this be used for a long “summer” lace duster? I just ordered one of your favorite cottons and was thinking of something long for summer time at the beach.
I want to make curtains with this stitch. I just have a difficult time finding crochet thread. The most common near me is #20 and I think that is too small. I'd like to use #10 or #8 but 8 is a weird size most don't carry and size 10 I can only EVER find in white. I guess I need to look online.
I bet Georgie found it and put it in a special hiding place so he can secretly try to crochet with one of the yarn skeins hes always trying to sneak. Hes such a cutie!
@snospmoht3252 That thought is interesting. Lately, I've noticed how she posts, and then I see a very similar crochet shawl or crochet beanie that is very, very similar to hers, including stitch tutorials.
That needs to be done in a shawl!
It easily could. Just make it longer and wider. I was thinking the same , that if I made this it would be a wrap type shawl. U know what they say about great minds!
I so agree with you
I agrée 💯 hug from France 😘🌺
I'd like to see her make one with a Stenli cake held double with a lace weight sequin yarn!
I agree, this would be a beautiful shawl.
I need to make something with this beautiful stitch. I love, love, love it. ❤

It almost has a macramé look to it, doesn’t it. It will make a beautiful table runner! Lucky her!
This is looking easy enough! But I can never tell if when you are going into the stitch, if you go into first top loop only or do you go under both loops? I’m getting crazy obsessed on this point in all my projects! 🫣😵💫
@@janiceguy8752 I’m sure it was under both loops. She never mentioned anything about a back or front loop.

Love it 😻
Hey
Could this be used for a long “summer” lace duster? I just ordered one of your favorite cottons and was thinking of something long for summer time at the beach.
It’s an easy and gorgeous stitch, but how do you keep track of where you are? Any tips for newbies?
Could this pattern be used for a scarf? Would you just make your initial chain length shorter?
Oooh just by chance I’m first! This looks exciting.
I want to make curtains with this stitch. I just have a difficult time finding crochet thread. The most common near me is #20 and I think that is too small. I'd like to use #10 or #8 but 8 is a weird size most don't carry and size 10 I can only EVER find in white. I guess I need to look online.
I love the missing hook!
I bet Georgie found it and put it in a special hiding place so he can secretly try to crochet with one of the yarn skeins hes always trying to sneak. Hes such a cutie!
Done it cotton can be used as a table runner, maybe?
❤
Hi girl
Curtain !
♥️💗♥️
HI 👋 CRYSTAL your last @youtube post "This New Yarn At Ice Yarns Is Amazing!!"
👉🏻 COMMENTS are TURNED OFF 👈🏻
I wondered if it was on purpose but after watching I couldn't see any reason for her going 'comments off' so I figure it was just by mistake.
@snospmoht3252 That thought is interesting. Lately, I've noticed how she posts, and then I see a very similar crochet shawl or crochet beanie that is very, very similar to hers, including stitch tutorials.
