This model is an instant classic. I bought a custom spec Wood Library version of one of these last year with swamp ash, quilted maple, and Brazilian rosewood, with the variable capacitor switch, and I can safely say it is the best guitar I have ever owned in my life. It never goes out of tune, never has any fret buzz, low action, and the pick ups sound absolutely incredible in both humbucker and single coil mode. Being able to get one of these in the core lineup now is an incredible opportunity.
That guitar would be a perfect match to my original Modern Eagle faded blue jean. The Brazilian Rosewood neck on my ME is the best feeling neck I've ever played.
Nice pick up, quite smooth, nice design, nicely made, quite innovative. You gotta attach sensors for much better control and coordination of the pick ups, for much better dynamics, for much better sounds and scaling.
Hello Don, I would love to some day be able to meet you and jam a few songs. Your playing technic is so smooth. Stay safe and well and keep Rocking. Signed John ( Zepbass) Gregory, Bass player from Munster Indiana.
I know it might not seem that important but I really like his chord selection for this demo. I can tell he can play. I don’t trust people that can’t really play.
While it's nice to hear good guitarists demo good guitars, they can also make bad guitars sound good, so for that reason, I don't trust good guitarists.
@@mrpositronia well I was just trying to give the guy a compliment . I actually enjoyed his playing, but thanks for making it weird though. It wouldn’t be a proper TH-cam reply without your 2 sense.
I mean no disrespect - Quite obviously, the demonstrator is a good player and for sure PRS makes wonderful guitars - I have three that I really like. I am not sure though that this demo will sell them many Modern Eagles. To me, the sound is thin and muddy at the same time. It seems like the amp was not EQ'ed in an optimum way to make the guitar shine. Based on this, I would definitely not shell out big $$$. Just my 0.02$.
So what you are saying is, it sounds like most PRS core guitars. The feel is there, sound not so much the majority of the time. I've tried core three times with them and twice new, none have stuck around. A shame really.

If they can't play how can they demonstrate the guitars capabilities 😅
@@robertgladstein I’ve seen some bad player that demo guitars . Trust me they’re out there.

Well it has the right name The Modern Eagale majestic because it' is majestic it's something any one would covet having.
This will be one of my first purchases when I become a DDS.
So… you’ll never own one?
Become a physicist and you can own more than one!
@@michaelvarney. Yeah, the military-industrial-complex pays really well!
Not for left handers
Ah yes for the low low price of $4640 😂
At $4,600... it's certainly not "for all".
