when we build them before yes we always measure but one set weight cannot be compared to others They weigh really close to one another though if comparing 1Up and YCP

@@keybokatze1927 “playtime” sorry it just seems fun for me 😂 I mean I def have fun always… on the b20 timing belt, you mean how to cut slack “enough” when tightening the tensioner bearing or “tensioning” the tensioner?
If that’s the case I might or I could take a video on Thursday or Friday and post it at the shop page for you… and if it’s on ur time zone u can comment and could add more diff post and vids that’s the soonest I think I can possibly do man 😎
@ lots of reasons could make it like that excessive block or head milling etc etc A tooth = 9degrees so if it’s jumped a tooth u will know it would barely run faster than a d13 if it actually runs… So if it’s driveable then big chance it isn’t jumped a tooth
@SRDmotorsports ok is it possible to make 300-400hp on a 98 crv ex autobox ? Gonna use the Hamotorsport Hondata s300 v3 auto ecu package obd1 for a/f tuning
really depends in theory yes? But not all shops can achieve it? So it’s even harder or near impossible for a non well seasoned shop/builder, unless turbo
@@SRDmotorsports I read on Honda forums it’s risky to run high comp on pump gas. I read it’s not recommended to go over 11.5:1 on pump gas / 91-93 octane. So I’m impressed with this engine build
@ well yeah those numbers make sense but with better tuning 91-93 octane can handle up to 11.75-12:1 but those numbers are correct and better to be safe And as we speak now he (owner) also upgraded to CTR typeR cams so I have yet to share that on the next vid 😎

not really sure but the YCP ITR style dome pistons is about 3.4cc dome u can calculate that using that dome volume
Brake and parts cleaner on the block and head or bath 6:12

My intake cam gear at tdc is slightly clocked to the left . Why is that? Is that jumped a tooth or is the cam gear loose?

@SRDmotorsports so do I need to have the timing belt redone and realign cam gears on my b20b4? It was done 3 years ago due to timing belt broke.
Very keen to see how this goes as it's a lot like my build. Except I'm bored to 84.5mm. And I'm using Rocket M22XX Cams.
nice nice 😎
Im planning to build my B20vtec for street / track purpose, does Taiho engine bearing suitable for that purpose?
@@amiruladam3967 yup a b20vtec I built in 2016 is still racing and being used on the streets today it uses daido/taiho main and rod bearings
@SRDmotorsports tq sir
no problem
He doesn't have the head tapt for vtec 7:22
It actually is tapped
Is it possible for b20b to make 300-400hp n/a?
stock sleeve may not be as strong at 85mm
But resleeving the block it would just be the same capabilities as a sleeved b18 as 2liter
@SRDmotorsports so resleeve instead of CSS?
Yes

It will be more durable on revs and rotating 7:40
true yet we also have a couple of b20 since 2018 revving to 9,700 on oem bearings
I have to send you my b16 head for port an polish one day eventually

pump gas (gasoline)
