yeah i think that's just a bass trombone with a heavy mouthpiece, to get that powerful sound. you can't really do that with a lighter mouthpiece. i had no idea till recently how much the mouthpiece affects the sound.

Hi Andrew, I’m a seventh grade girl and I’m in the beginning band at my school and I play the trombone and I also play the alto saxophone in the advanced band (do you play the soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone) and I also play piano, trumpet, little guitar, little bass, little ukulele, a little recorder, a pocket trumpet, and I sing (but I think everybody sings even if there not the best at singing, like me, but we all sing along to songs we listen to so...yeah. And then the trade off at 3:03 with them ending with the harmony was pretty flawlessly matched with tone and style to/with one another. And yes, the solo portion starting 3:57 played by the older gentleman is phenomenal. This was fantastically pieces together. Love it! But seriously, 1:05 😍. marry me... please.

I’m in marching band now and everything, it’s awesome. You’re right, it definitely is a lot harder than i thought it would be, but i don’t regret one bit of it! I love this...it makes me miss playing...I started 6th grade with my trombone...i went through 11th grade playing it and loved it...had to switch to baritone at the school i transferred to for my senior year...they had no baritone players and i was the only trombone player that could both read treble and play a valved instrument...both horns though are truly perfect...i wish i could still play

The trumpets in my band are too quiet, and when the teachers got us to play louder by shouting FORTE! at us (after a whole semester) we literally drowned out the whole band.

The trumpets in my band are too quiet, and when the teachers got us to play louder by shouting FORTE! at us (after a whole semester) we literally drowned out the whole band.
And had to work on being quiet
