I’m not pale, I’m sort of a light to medium, and this color still looks great on me. Not too red or orange or coppery, like most bronzers. It’s just perfect, natural and glowy without being too obvious. It also works great on the eyes, such as in the crease, for a more cohesive look. I just love it, it’s my favorite Hourglass product.
It's soooooooo refreshing to see that makeup brands are FINALLY starting to recognise that us porcelain ladies exist! (And no I'm not talking about the orange-beige coloured "porcelain" 😂💀)
But then most of the times they create all this pale shades, but keep it in the asian market! Why, oh why?! My last time in Australia, I went to a asian mall and stocked up. I can't find my color in Europe, they must think we pale ladies are all pink based, or want to get darker, and its not true!
+Kathleen Coomans It does change time to time but currently the one I reach for every time I travel is Tarte Exposed :) it goes with any look so it's really versatile!
I love this bronzer so much! It doesn’t make me look orange wich is amazing. And I love how my skin glows after I applied it. It makes it look so much more natural. It’s quite expensive but I really like it 🤗
I don't know if I should get nude bronze light or diffused bronze light, I have more of a fair-light skin not really porcelain and I definitely prefer a more cool toned bronzer. Sadly we don't have hourglass here and I have to order it online. 😩
If someone has redness on their cheeks and usually a flushed chest BUT they are yellow toned all over, what type of foundation undertone would you go for? Cool or warm toned? Thank you!
Were you able to find a dupe for hourglass nude or diffused bronze light? I'd love to know of some similar tones that's more affordable. Even if the bare minerals would be comparable. I like their medium & tan shades' undertones
Your makeup looks so incredible, as always! I was wondering if you could maybe do a video about the best eyeshadow palettes for pale skin? I find it so hard to find complete eyeshadow palettes that won't be too harsh on my pale complexion. XOXO
+Adriana Leiva I like both haha but I don't think one needs to own both as they're very similar! I think go for BM if you don't want to spend as much, or like a neutral bronzer, and go for HG if you like a more cool Bronzer x
Arna Alayne 😍 I'm such a fan thank you for responding! Good to know I guess I'll keep both then :) I'm an eyeshadow junkie but face products aren't really my thing. Glad to know it's reasonable to keep both. Thanks for all the pale make up videos :) I'm a Lancôme 090
Haha my first thought when I saw this video was haven't you done this video very recently? But yeah this is totally the year of great bronzers and it's definitely good to get an idea of which ones are worth it :) This one looks so beautiful!
Didn't NARS come out with a shade lighter than Laguna called Seaside? I was wanting to see that compared to Laguna. I know you said no more bronzer videos buttttt ugh I'm dying to see that!
Hey lovely!! I’m super super pale too I use shade Oslo with nars sheer glow and nars long wear radient(although this oxidises super pink on me). I use hoola lite or the new Charlotte tilbury bronzer in the lightest shade too but I want a bronzer ever so slightly darker. Would you recommend this shade or should I go the next shade up? So sorry to be a pain 💕
Yes I think this feels a tiny bit darker than Hoola Lite, although I also feel like the next shade up is only slightly darker again so would also work x
All these bronzer releases are so exciting, although now I have to make a decision about what I'm going to get. I do feel like maybe this one would be good as it is so natural and I haven't really worn much bronzer before. I don't know 🤷♀️
I know this is older, but kinda feel silly leaving a random comment on bronzer on one of your new videos.. so, here I am and hoping you see it! 😛😛 Have you tried CoverFX's powder bronzers..? Their 'sunkissed' shade is one of the fairest bronzers I've got and, I am a bit of a blush / bronzer hoarder. It's honestly a bit too light for me [I am a few shades deeper than you, it looks like] I just haven't picked up the next up shade, yet. I don't see them get nearly enough love, but my 'sunkissed' one has been my go-to for quickie days when just the lightest bit of colour on my face is wanted this winter. It works great now in the cooler months, but I will have to get a deeper shade with warmer weather.. which says a lot to me, because most of the palest bronzers work for me year round, even if they take some building in our warmest months. I only found you from this review, then nosed around and subbed, but didn't see the CoverFX one in any videos [if I have just missed it, totally ignore me] and since I got it I have been recommending it like crazy to other paler peoples.. it's a stunning product, if you can get them at a reasonable price down there, I know shipping can be absurd for ya'll if a brand isn't readily available, totally recommend you giving it a go! I am loving the Balm's new 'take home the bronze', too; the lightest, Oskar/Oliver, shade! Probably another tough one to order, but I've found new bronzer loves and just wanted to share; especially since there aren't many people talking on the CoverFX one! Cheers doll!! 😘😘
Arna Alayne that's how I found you, actually, debating between the new Balm one and really splurging.. then the Balm had a flash sale and Oskar was mine, hahha! It's really similar to the milk chocolate, one of my favs, so he is going to be put to use . Bahama Mama never worked for me, so seeing their new ones had me super excited; love their branding and packaging but their powder products are gorgeous formulas. The CoverFX is almost like the chocolate level below milk chocolate.. makes no sense, but it's definitely much more suited to paler beauties. I verge on fair to light, and I've used my 'sunkissed' one for about a month now and got curious if I'd missed my pale channels talking about it, or what.. I only had a discount, grabbed it just because I hadn't heard much on it [I am a face base lover, give me all the blushes and bronzers] then since trying it, I'm going to be / have been a little annoying to my six or seven paler ladies. 😂😂 CoverFX doesn't usually appeal to me, but this was a really nice grab. I do prefer matte bronzers, which they both are, too. No better way to say hello, new sub here, than to try to get you to buy more makeup! 😛😛 The Balm does do flash sales a couple times a year [half off everything] and I do know shipping down there can be outrageous.. they're pretty consistent with doing two or three, and this was their first one this year. Their blushes are some of my favourite, it'd be between their Balm Beach and my Hourglass 'mood exposure' as most reached for. I'll stop; it's 5 a.m. and while I am a twit of a rambler, not trying to encourage you to spend but highly recommend!
I currently have the TF milk chocolate bronzer and I'm thinking of getting another bronzer. I'm not sure if I should get the hoola lite or hourglass nude bronze 😩 I'm leaning more on hourglass since it's more of a satin finish and I already own a matte. How are these 3 different colour wise?
+julie Hoola Lite is much warmer & completely Matte, TF Milk Choc is neutral/warm toned and Matte (quite similar to Hoola Lite), and Hourglass is Satiny finish and more neutral/cool toned x
So good to hear x
Geslina, Same for me. Lovely natural shade. 😍
It's soooooooo refreshing to see that makeup brands are FINALLY starting to recognise that us porcelain ladies exist! (And no I'm not talking about the orange-beige coloured "porcelain" 😂💀)
+Brianna Grainger yes!! So agree!!
But then most of the times they create all this pale shades, but keep it in the asian market! Why, oh why?! My last time in Australia, I went to a asian mall and stocked up. I can't find my color in Europe, they must think we pale ladies are all pink based, or want to get darker, and its not true!
Question please.....of all your BLUSHES if you had to pick one only favourite which would it be????? Thankyou
+Kathleen Coomans It does change time to time but currently the one I reach for every time I travel is Tarte Exposed :) it goes with any look so it's really versatile!
With all these new bronzers, you're going to need to make an updated best bronzers for pale skin video! xx
+Grace Bergman I know haha I'll probably make some updated videos of best pale skin products later in the year x
Absolutely!
@@ArnaAlayneMorton Thanks! Because of your review purchased Hourglass nude bronzer it's everything you shared. Love! Hourglass own few items.
This is my absolute favourite bronzer!! It's gorgeous on my fair skin.
+Asche V Glad you love it x
Your eye makeup is beautiful!
Love this influx of products for pale gals. My favorite bronzer is lanai in the sand by everyday minerals.
+Stephanie Vincent Oh I've never tried that!! Thanks for the suggestion x
Julia Katarina Karanović I'm interested in the reply
+Julia Katarina Karanović There are swatches online that show both colours side by side x
Excellent review! Just bought the exact same shade and I'm so in love with it that I don't want to use it
+FerFlores It's very pretty looking haha be at peace knowing it stays looking pretty even with lots of use x
Can you please do a tutorial on how you do this hairstyle?
+xxhsifgibleerxx Coming next week :)
Hello Arna ! Your look is so beautiful !!! Is it possible to have a tutorial please? Thank you ! 💕😍
+Amira1224 It's coming next week :) xx
If someone has redness on their cheeks and usually a flushed chest BUT they are yellow toned all over, what type of foundation undertone would you go for? Cool or warm toned? Thank you!
Warm :) always match your undertone, not your flush! I’m neutral/cool-blue, but flush pink; however, pink foundations look terrible on me!
Were you able to find a dupe for hourglass nude or diffused bronze light? I'd love to know of some similar tones that's more affordable. Even if the bare minerals would be comparable. I like their medium & tan shades' undertones
Bare Minerals is pretty comparable! Also the L’Oreal Glam Bronze in 01 x
Arna Alayne awesome! Thanks for getting back to me. In the USA, I wonder is the lumi bronzer from L'Oréal is the same as the glam bronze
Your makeup looks so incredible, as always! I was wondering if you could maybe do a video about the best eyeshadow palettes for pale skin? I find it so hard to find complete eyeshadow palettes that won't be too harsh on my pale complexion. XOXO
+chocolateroses17 Thank you lovely!! Tutorial for this coming next week :) I've done a best eye makeup video where I mention some xx
Your makeup is beautiful!
I need that hourglass palette that does powder, blush bronzer and highlighter.. which one is it plz??
Can you write the name of the brush? I'm looking for good bronzer brush
I am NW15, do you think this would be too light for me or would this still show up as more natural on my skin?
It would definitely show :)
What lipstick is this? Its so beautiful! :)
+Martina Devine Stila Patina cx
Arna Alayne maybelline fit me matte and poreless has two lighter shades of foundations now!! 102 and another one!!
+Emma Costello In Australia?? 😁😁
You are straight up GORGEOUS girly
I don't remember if you have the butter bronzer, but if you do, how does this compare?
+Lauren W Yes I do! Quite different - cooler in tone, and more glowy than the PF xx
Ooh that sounds lovely! Thanks.
Arna, do you like the bare minerals one better?
+Adriana Leiva I like both haha but I don't think one needs to own both as they're very similar! I think go for BM if you don't want to spend as much, or like a neutral bronzer, and go for HG if you like a more cool Bronzer x
It looks soo nice on you :) I'm still working on a sample size TF milk chocolate bronzer. The struggle is real lol
+Maureen L Thanks so much x
So I ordered this but I also have hoola light. Do I really need both? Is one matte and one not?
+Kat Jones Hoola Lite is completely Matte & warm toned, Hourglass is Satin & cool toned x
+Kat Jones no worries lovely!! I always try my best to respond to comments x
Haha my first thought when I saw this video was haven't you done this video very recently? But yeah this is totally the year of great bronzers and it's definitely good to get an idea of which ones are worth it :) This one looks so beautiful!
+bonbonzz Thanks!! Yeah haha I wanted to add the disclaimer incase people are getting tired of them haha
What eye makeup are you wearing?! It is GORGEOUS!!!
This is my bridal makeup look form around the same time xx
Didn't NARS come out with a shade lighter than Laguna called Seaside? I was wanting to see that compared to Laguna. I know you said no more bronzer videos buttttt ugh I'm dying to see that!
+atpedrego heaps of swatches online :) it's marketed as lighter, but isn't actually more pale, just a different tone and I prefer Laguna :)
Hey lovely!! I’m super super pale too I use shade Oslo with nars sheer glow and nars long wear radient(although this oxidises super pink on me). So many new bronzers!!!!!
+sweetem1979 I know!! It's awesome!
wow I love this look on you!!!
+SaucerJess Thank you xx

+Rebecca Jenkins I think you'll love this one if you don't wear Bronzer much :) it's fail safe x
Hi~Cloud I have to ask your color code of lipstick,pls ?: )
XY Li it's Stila Liquid Lip in Patina :)
New subscriber!!! Excellent review. Just what I was looking for.
+Rosa María Vélez Thanks!! Welcome x
