Hill session 8 x 45 sec - Tracksmith Amateur Mile Series Ep. 7

  • In this episode I tackle 8 x 45 seconds up a hill, with a slow jog down as my recovery between each repetition. If you’re giving this a try, start slow, and build into this workout, making each successive hill faster. You should aim to run a little further up the hill on each rep - that's always great motivation. Make sure you do a good 10-20 minute jog before and after your workout to both prep and relax your muscles. Note: for those with nagging achilles tendon or calf injuries, you might want to skip hill workouts until those have completely healed.

    I’m not friends with hill repeats😂. However this episode helped a lot on how to attack them. I also love the strength segment super helpful!!!

      Haha I think a fair few can relate to that point for the hills. But it’s good to hear that the strength work sections with R&D Physios are useful!

    There was a runner who swallowed the spider to catch the fly;
    I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps it's a new recovery gel or drink.🙈. One again nice video and informative 👍🏾
