- Today I take the X-Crafts ERJ-145LR from KATL to KCLT. Not my favorite aircraft but it has been updated, fixing some of the issues and creating others!

Dark overhead means all are dark for proper inflight configuration. Hence since the GPU and APU are not running in flight they are dark meaning OFF..The flight altitude temperature must be input as -44C not -44 since units are important.
The dark flight deck concept means when all lights are out, that is their normal position for flight. Hence why, when you use a GPU the light is on because in flight you wouldn’t normally use a ground power unit. Same for APU bleed, it’s normal position is off for flight unlike engine bleeds which should be on for flight.

The EICAS should be checked for all proper readings during fire test not just the handles. Not a big deal here but its a real world check
You are 100% correct. I wish I had some tablets setup as my PFD, MFD, and EICAS screens at my desk! It would make these things so much easier.

Would it be worth it to buy just the erj 145 pack now
I just bought the family pack yesterday. They all have the same cockpit and controls. The difference is the seats and the range, the 145XR can go decently far where the 135 is limited.
Also a few of the bugs he encountered like the -24 degrees OAT, the parkingbrake, and the loss of AP outside the cockpit have all been fixed.
I chose the Legacy 650, I wanted a small jet to get into and learn as a jump off point before a 737 . I love it , only a couple flights so far but after getting the hang of the fms and stuff its very fun. Also i like the idea of flying vip clients in a nice jet, but if you prefer the regional and also get more range go for the 145 pack!
