- Size matters... Having the ability to tie a D-Loop at home is a great skill to have in the bag. Replacing an old D-loop can prevent you from punching yourself in the face. You can also tinker with the different loop lengths to really dial in that bow setup.

Very detailed description. I've done a couple myself after my release had an issue, not the D-loop, but I replaced it anyway. Thanks for the video.
I usually precut and burn a few for my bow kit as well. Really helps for on the go
I do the same. Always have a backup
Thanks bro! I’m the new guy just learning everything so thanks. 🙏🏽
How do you tell if a D loop will fail? I JUST got my bow back from the shop ready to put on the Bowmar button and the shop’s d loop failed. Pretty upset and plan on making a d loop myself.
Keep up the vids....good info, just curious where are you in NC? I live in Kannapolis. Bought my bow at Graffton Archery I've heard you mention them before
Im in Huntersville, Graftons is a good shop. They always have good inventory and have treated me well.
You said you start with 4 1/2 cord. 1/4 inch off each end for the ball leaves 4 inches. How long of a D- loop are you left with. I like at least a 1/2 inch for a thumb release so the string doesn't torque when twisted at anchor.
1:55 it sound like a demon talking , but great vid though on the d loop install.
Yea that’s really weird, something must have happened in the upload to TH-cam. On the original video it doesn’t sound like that. It’s not the first time an upload got botched. Thank you for making me aware
First one is best third one is like a draw length extension..,
I had one break on almost full draw, arrow disappeared 😆 never to be found.
How big should you d-loop be?
A lot of that depends per person. You have to just experiment and see what feels right
my wife says it's not the size of your d loop, it's how you use it.
🤣 she’s not wrong!
Blessings
Thanks mine broke and I punched myself in the face!!!
You tie the loop the wrong way around.
