First of all, thank you very much. I just started bow hunting last year. My buddy has been at it for awhile and doesn't use a peep, so I followed his lead. My patterns have been close but fairly inconsistent until today, when I tied in a peep. What a difference. Great video man, you helped me out a lot. ✌
You did a great job on this video explaining I had tries other methods and having trouble with it moving so wanted to try this not only does it look amazing it holds it in tight.
I usually let the bow shop do it but just got a new bow and I wanted to do it myself. Thanks for the detailed video, others on here are leaving out steps so Thanks for that
This is an excellent instruction on tying in a peep sight. My first attempt looked better than the original that came from the archery pro shop where I purchased the bow. Thanks! Liked and subscribed.
Soooo , I do tie my peep a little differently, however one of the best tips one can come across is in this video right here , thousands of videos on how to tie a peep but the tip he gives on setting your peep at his mid range is priceless, you don't see that in most of the videos if any, your anchor point does change as you start shooting out to longer distance, most people haphazardly have their site set at 20 install their peep and as you get out to longer range things change, so again that he that he gives as far as setting your peep at your midpoint is priceless, listen to what the man has to say
Thank you! First peep tie in and dang you made it easy for me looks good and came out dam near perfect first try. Peep Seems to have a little twist but a little manipulation and I’ll get it completely squared up…
I have just watched a ton of videos on tying in a peep...some pretty similar tbh, but I like the look and explanation so going with this method. In all my years of shooting I never really gave it much thought but after accidently dry firing my bow last week and having my peep hit me between the eyes, I figure it's time to take it more serious and do a better job. Oh yeah and I lost a nice peep too boot. Anyway....well done !!
hi man, your video its great, great explanation, very clear, I just bought a bow like yours and i have seen your videos how you set up, but I almost sure that my arrows are touching the fall away rest, how can I fix this issue?
The only bad thing about tying it in that way is if you like to experiment with different peeps like me ha.. that tie in is about the best looking one out of all of them though
Next time, with your other bow... I'd love to see how you even put your peep in the strings. I have an idea and in a pinch I probably could, however, I'd like to see
I understand you use a press I guess.. how do you separate the strings to put it? I've only been bow hunting 2-3 years now and just trying to add things to my "pocket" on knowing what to do. I've yet to have an issue but there's always the "what if"
enjoy your clips. Awesome. With your sight which I have why cant you just buy the picatiny adapter, i did this its so easy. I'm in Aussie and very happy with outcome so easy to change! Enables the total advantages your bow has to offer and maintain the great axcel. Regardless really enjoy your stuff, Cheers Peter
Sorry if this is a dumb question in advance. Do I need to press the bow and take tension off the string to tie in a peep? Peep already in place. Thanks, video is crazy crisp we appreciate it
@@devonseyfert6295 just depends on what you use as your floating pin. I like to set peep height with my center pin (center of sight housing on say a 3 pin horizontal) at a mid range position
Noticed in your video you set your nocking point with a square without having your rest on the bow. Would be interested in a step by step on how you do it. Also talking through making adjustments to the cables during tuning. Thanks for what you do for the archery community.
I’ll make sure an touch deeper on these things in my RX7 build! I set the nocking point directly through the center of the Berger hole (where the rest bolts to) from there I am pretty well squared up and can make fine adjustments with the rest if needed. As far as the cables it’s fairly simple when reading your draw stops if it is off one cam will be working harder than the other. Putting twists in or out of a cable will affectively lengthen or shorten the cable which will allow the given cam to turn sooner or later.
Thanks, this was the best instructional video I have seen on tying in a peep sight. Great Job!!!
I’ve watched this video probably 20 times. The best “how to” video out there. Thanks
Hands down the best video on tieing in peep sight
Thank you!
@@WhitetailFitdude you're a boss for making this video for us. Keep up the good work sir you f'in rock
Duude this is the best instructional ive found. Thank you 🙏🏻

That was great thank you! And thanks for wearing the white t-shirt, that really helped showing how to do it more clearly
Thanks - clear and precise.
Was looking for a video on how to tie in a peep. Enjoy your videos.
Best video that shows exactly how to tie a peep. Awesome job.
You did a great job on this video explaining I had tries other methods and having trouble with it moving so wanted to try this not only does it look amazing it holds it in tight.
Easy to see the intricate details. Nice lesson
Thank you so much I followed your video Right to a Tee, and it looks really good and worked really well. Thank you.
It never fails, I have to watch this video every time I tie in a peep.
Great video man, really enjoyed watching the process of how this is done
I usually let the bow shop do it but just got a new bow and I wanted to do it myself. Thanks for the detailed video, others on here are leaving out steps so Thanks for that
That was very clear and concise. I'll be using that method. Thanks

Appreciate it! Definitely want to have the peep dialed for both short and long range!
Thanks! Just made an adjustment to my peep and used this method.
Attention to detail!! Nice
I just did this yesterday, then saw this video. Glad I did it right!
Sweet I'm going to try it just got my serving material
White shirt helped! Great content
Nice video!, I always do both sides but some might consider that overkill

This is my “ go to “ video if I ever need to refresh myself on this topic. Thanks brotha for the simplicity of your vid 😇🏹🏹🏹🏹🙏👍

What size serving did you use? Or does it not really matter? I have brownell #4" but some people say to use 2x.
Great video!!

Maybe my comment is irrelevant or dumb so I apologize.. I'll keep watching your how to's and keep learning
@@brendondavis5858 after I press my bow, I just use my fingers to separate the different colored strands. Nothing really to it.

You do not need to but it helps get the tie closer to the peep to prevent shifting and look better. I also do a different method to be fair.
Nice and clear 👌
What size serving are you using?
So the mid range set point is only for single pins correct?.

thank you
What bow press is that?
Have been waiting for a quality video of this method that’s easy to see each step. Thank you!

Great video 👍 just away to do my bows the same way🏹
Close your eyes
Draw your bow
Find your anchor
Open your eyes
Finds your peep height EVERY time. 🤙🏼
Fantastic
I know that MFJJ uses the same tie. Why do you prefer that knot?
I’ve been at this for a half an hour, and I cannot tie the knot on the bottom of the peep. I must just be stupid but thanks for the video.
Absolutely awesome video and instruction. Thanks for sharing.
Be extra carefull when burning of the ends with a lighter. just a short moment too close to your bowstring and youve got a problem.
Great video I have an insurance man named Levi Morgan
The word you were looking for is "concentric".
Frapping
I am. Guessing you wanted to try. Doing it. Youself
Im on my gf youtube but anyways i cant tell but u always wanna wrap the same way as the string is wrapping
