I’ve been waiting so hard for this…Somehow the moment I found out it’s finally released next week, I was actively looking online for GITD Skeleton figures… This one is for me…Better than I imagined since last year’s reveal. The box being GITD is so great I’m almost in tears on top of it this is the most perfect hommage to Scareglow. Major props to MONDO And thank you Dan for the first video about this.
I truly love any Glow in the Dark Stuff, especially Action Figures. The New "Scare Glow" Figure, looked Marvelous. The Detailing also, looked Incredible. Absolutely a Hands Down, one Coolest GIow in Dark Figure ever!

I was just trying to imagine which other jumbo figure I would actually have interest in other than Scare Glow, and for the clear plastic chest Roboto was my only choice! I imagined intricate working gears inside, surpassing all other iterations of this figure. That will have me sold. I know for a fact that I’m not interested in any other jumbo renditions other than those two.
Just happy it's a time limited exclusive and not just a set amount made like their previous Scare Glows. Gives me hope it'll be the same thing for the next Scare Glow and his horse.
They ditched the limited and outside of Convention exclusives, all their releases are now timed. Probably the only good thing that came out of being bought by Funko.
@@Dickie2shoes I was referring to the MOTU ones mainly as that's thr only Mondo experience I have. I forgot they do other Toy Lines lol. Interesting they don't do timed exclusives for their other 1/6 lines.

This borders between being a toy and being Pop art. Very reminiscent of those "Visible Man" model kits. So does anyone know if this is what was intended with the original MOTU toy?
This is a really cool Scarglow. However, that new head sculpt looks like a Terminator head painted white with the crack at the top. Its still an amazingly designed figure!
Kenner/Hasbro have already did something like this in 5" scale in 1999 (Blight from Batman Beyond line) and Toy Biz did Skullfire's hands in this way (X-Men 2099 line from 1995) Now, if just Mattel could do something like this for New Eternia Scare Glow...
i have a love hate relationship with mondo the figures are amazing but the suprise drop almost no notice makes it hard to budget for their products and they are releasing them so fast now orko rogue and now scareglow all withen 30 days give us digital renders like hasbro so we know whats coming so people can prep and budget
It’s called soft vinyl because everything, other than the bones and feet are made of soft vinyl, rather than pvc. The method of slush casting also prevents it from being called plasticized pvc.

I totally disagree, I think that Mondo's customer service is exceptional, and their quality control has been a bit poor in the past but it is getting better all the time I feel! Kudos to Mondo!
I disagree too - Mondo has outstanding customer service, and quality control has got better and better - but if there's an issue, they fix it! And their products are beautiful works of art.
Hm, I would absolutely get this if it were the size of the vintage figures, or if they redid the 12" version with this gimmick, but have to pass on this 15" version. @pixeldan since you have the designer's contact I would love to know how they get the bones into the clear limbs without the clear parts being 2-part shells!
I really like this but Mondo is really pricing a lot of people out of it. It didn't need to be 15" with a $265 price tag + shipping. Kinda ridiculous, especially with them also taking pre-orders for their other high priced figures.
It does look really cool, but the nostalgia center of my brain just refuses to accept a Scare Glow that doesn't have a glowing green body with black bones, as opposed to the inverse presented here. Still a neat looking figure though!

They should have just done this for scareglow with their better proportioned 1:6line. IMO the original style/proportion 80s He man figures look kinda lame when you blow them up big. Made even worse when you can see how dumb their skeletons would look under that build compared to what an actual skeleton looks like.
Ordered mine! I do wish the lower part of the cape was wired too. Without that, it's harder to get cool poses. I really have no idea which head I'm going to use. I like both a lot.
Remember the electronic iron giant from Walmart $20 Meanwhile Mondo makes garbage for $300 . That thing should have batteries or USB and light up green with some black inner accents . Without glowing it looks like some un painted prototype

Man, I'm really sad I missed out on those first two Scareglows from Mondo. Here's hoping the next release to go along with Nyte-Mare is easier to get.

That size figure should contain internal lights to make it glow
My biggest hesitation on buying anything from Mondo is the price. I don't have that many more spare organs to sell to afford more of their stuff.
