So glad to see this village side of the island. So many beautiful landscapes in the island and even Japan itself. It made me have more adrenaline to visit rural areas in all the countries I want to visit in the future. Thank you Syifa and Dave for recording these Japan series. It’s beautiful.
Thank you so much, Emanuel! I agree that the countryside is often very overlooked by tourists who prefer cities. Hokkaido island and so many areas in Japan still offers the wilderness we often yearn for. I genuinely think you'll have a great time if you decide to do so. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind support!
The village is as beautiful as she is. That kind of place is where I want to spend my most of time by staring at beautiful landscapes, sounds of birds chirping, water flowing through the river and the sound of it. That's life
I am from srilanka .very nice to see the villages of Japan, also a very beautiful presentation/ beautiful lady with beautiful smile/Very serene, love and beautiful !
I used to live in Hokkaido for while. It‘s a nice prefecture even though the weather is obviously really harsh sometimes. I remember hitting -25°c in Asahikawa once… The food is really good too.
This series of video are absolutely magnificient, by exploring the two-side of modern and traditional look of Japan surely motivated me to travel there in the future. Bless and joy always Syifa and Dave!

Thank you for showing us some of the best tourist spots in Japan. Try visit Shikoku where there’s more nature and less tourists. The best places in Japan are those have yet been mentioned in your guide book. I walked the Shikoku pilgrim trail every year for the last two, covered 47 out of the 88 temples. And you’ll discover you haven’t seen the most beautiful village in Japan yet.
Thanks, Paul! Sounds incredible to imagine walking on a pilgrim trail in Japan. I think I might have heard this before. Have you done it yourself? What was it like? I’d like to hear more!
That small light emerald-coloured lake and its surroundings were spectacular ❤ oh my my! So it's autumn season in the southern hemisphere. Mother nature's beauty at its paramount.
Spectacular indeed, Elisabetta! It's a must visit for any nature enthusiast 😊 This video was filmed in end of October last year therefore it was just the beginning of Autumn season. Dave and I have been back in England since end of November and we are now catching up with invidual work including video editing. Thank you so much for watching!
What a lovely village. Reminds me of when I biked tobfar here in New Zealand and my legs wouldnt work at all omg so bad especially when you have cycled far from home. That dinner looked like a banquet for a king! I can't believe how close you got to the fox. We saw a couple of fox's crossing the road in frount of us but they were not tame at all.
Thank you so much Ross! Hahahahaha our legs didnt work as we hoped it should be as we just did a hike a day before this. We filmed and released the video here: th-cam.com/video/dOj2f8KQDQM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IwMCa147beEdaSVn Where in New Zealand did you cycle to and from? I have wanted to travel to New Zealand for a long time. Yes we were quite shocked with the fox and we stood still as not to bother him. I particularly didnt know whether the fox would bite 😂😂
@@SyifaAdriana Oh no wonder your legs got tired I just cycled around Otago harbour in Dunedin for 3 hours which was too long when not used to cycling. If you ever come to New Zealand you both would like the mountains in the South Island I think.
Thank you for your recommendation! Dave (my husband) is half Australian so whenever we plan our Ocenia trip, we'll combine Australia and NZ hopefully. If you enjoy cycling, our home in Northwest England (The Peak District) close to Manchester has got some huge communities of outdoor cycling. 😊@@ross1972

Kon'nichiwa Syifa-san and Dave-san. Arigatō gozaimasu, for the lovely video. Nice to see a bit of the countryside of Japan. I've seen photos of that Blue Lake before - but without any context and without knowing where this was. Nice to get an actual connection to the image. I was interested to hear, that the next videos are going to be from Taiwan - I have just this week finished producing a CD album for a group from Taiwan. The group is called "A Moving Sound", you'll find them on TH-cam with a couple of albums I did for them in the last 3 years. - Now, through your videos, I'll be able to see a bit of their country. I also explored your projected tour to Afghanistan, but my travels this year will take me to the USA and to Austria and the dates clash with your tour, alas.
Hello Diz! I am always so glad to read your comment, as always! Yes, the blue lake is so famous I also didnt realize that it was on Hokkaido island. I will only have 2 or max 3 videos from Taiwan (short series) but it would be scooter riding videos 😂 Hopefully you'll still find it interesting. Thanks a lot for sharing, I will check "A Moving Sound" as per your recommendation. Which areas of the USA and Austria will you be traveling to? Thanks a lot for letting me know! I am hoping there will be enough people joining my tour to Pakistan. Hope to have another tour next year to another parts of the world 😊
