can i get the pc i am subcsribed to ur channel and i am a huge fan , i play on an old laptop with i3 10th gen 2 cores , 4 gb ram , no graphics card it can't even open chrome
Womp womp @@blacksafyt
i built my pc for around same price but it has a380 and i3 10105f, it performs really well, way better than shown in tests on youtube
Ark gets a lot of unnecessary hate I got a a750 to test I was shocked at its price to performance is the interface weird yes dose it work yes so thats one over amd lol
I've been watching for over 2 years now and just now building my first pc, and your vids are always so helpful!
Dont do this one its using a rx 6500 xt with only 4gb of vram, 4gb…
@@lukaspeanutbutter Ha ha yeah ik bro!
14:25 quick tip if you Scratch the case like he did.. a black marking pen works wonders for those black cases
I mean Linus did snuck a 6600 in his $500 build, no way you couldn't do better than a 6500 XT.
Wasn't that with used parts tho?
@@TheGameBench if your under 700$ on a build you probably should be using some used parts in all honesty even a 5500xt beats the 6500xt even more so on pci express 3.0
@@TheGameBench It wasn't, it was in his Intel new parts only video where he only got a one stick ram.
@@josephdias5859it's not about "probably" some people actually do not wamt used
Linus is even more disconnected from the reality of budget PC building in 2024 than the Toasty Bros. Still, the Toasty Bros are mainly advertising their PC build business and these videos are more entertainment and advertising than an actual build guide.
shouldve got a ryzen 5 4500 for like 80 bucks and put more budget towards a better gpu
They have made multiple 500$ gaming pc build guides. I think this one in particular was meant for the people who play really cpu heavy games
@re4king3 exactly
6500 xt with 4GB in 2024? Even on budget: cmon......
True
Yea that’s not cool
Yep a RX 5700 XT for around the same price used would completely destroy this card.
Also why would you buy a dual slot motherboard on ddr4?
I get this is a budget build but cmon give some better upgradability.
5500xt 8gb used would be better even or a 5600xt or a 5700xt used especially for the lack of gen 4 support that gen 3 bottlecked to halve speed on a 3.0 slot only running in 4.0 2x speeds is all bad
pay a little more and you can get a much better card. The 4050 6gig is even better than this pooter
Appreciate you moving slowly as you describe what you're doing. Would like to build my own but having dexterity issues, concerned I might do something wrong. Enjoy your vids so much.
I REALLY love the budget videos im going to buy this case. KEEP UP THE VIDEOS :D
so in the video, the case came with fans. it doesn’t on Amazon. am I missing something?
If you’re willing to spend a small amount more money, you can buy reverse-flow fans that put the support bracket on the intake side so that when you install them as intake fans, you don’t see the support bracket.
I really wonder how theese guys are pumping out content like this like even with a team 1 long form video with a new pc per day is CRAZY
They're also running a business building PCs and selling them.
Everything they film is a build that they sell. What they are really doing is just a reality TV show about their used component PC build gig. It is also advertising - adutainment. Entertainment + advertising + education = adutainment. I personally think it just equals one big conflict of interest.
Great video as always. Wanted to thank you guys stopped by the shop helped me with my pc a lot.
It just what is in one’s budget. I have an A520 because it was the cheapest one I could find that was brand new and wasn’t an AliExpress original. And unless someone is a hardcore professional gamer, Gen3 should do fine. But it is also a great service to see what a person could do with a little extra money in their budget!😊
On Newegg R5 5600 (~$135) + 6500XT (~$140) = ~$275. Alternately, still on Newegg, R5 5500 (~$100) + 6600 (~$195) = ~$195. That is the *easiest* $20 I would drop in a heartbeat to have a much better PC *now*.
R5 5500 still the best budget cpu if running am4 new build. Cheaper board and don't lose noticable performance. This was a weak build on their part
Its a great build, however, I would go with the r5 4500 and the RX 6600. Its around the same price.but can play almost every game in 1440p.
Good build but 6500xt big oof
I love the look of those cases and recently did a pink build in one. My main gripe is the non-PWM fans. the fans in my case were super loud and I eventually swapped them out because the build was for my son's girlfriend. I had a $750 budget for that build and it turned out awesome. Great job as always guys. keep up the great work.
I have 2 non PWM fans in my gaming PC and they are whisper quiet, even running at 1500 RPM constantly.
@@Lurch-Bot Awesome! but the Molex/Sata powered fans in this case run at a sped that is very audible and quite annoying honestly. I guess it depends on the person
Really need a pc for real right now playing on my laptop from my dad it's a old one but if i win it i be super duper happy. Good luck everyone
That 6500 XT you can find an 8 gig version of that from Newegg.
Should I get the 6500 XT to pair with my i7 8700k?
@@BREEZYM6015 If you can afford to save up a little more, I think the best card would be the 6600. And I think it kind of depends on what your previous GPU was. If it was an RX 580, I would say that is not much of an upgrade to a 6500 XT.
@@BREEZYM6015 No, get an RX 6600 or buy a used RX 5700 XT.
@@BREEZYM6015lol no get 6600, used get 5700 xt
Wonderful video as always gents. I Would personally go for the Ryzen 5 5500/RX6600 build for the price. Much better performance for only $10, with a 1tb nvme instead of a 512gb. Also, wouldn't the pcie 3.0 motherboard further hurt the performance of the 6500xt?
5500 isnt that great tbh, i would stick with 5600 or a 5600x.
@@dxrrknot as good as the 5600 but with 5500/rx6600 u will get wayy more performance.
Mine didn’t come with fans, what fans should I use
Toasty Bros There was an ARGB header by the HD audio on the motherboard. You said the board didn't have one. You can see it @ 18:37
i may already know how to build computers
but i always enjoy a full build guide nonetheless
Wow the 9th was my birthday i could've won this it would've fit perfect
It's amazing how a used pc with half the price can be 50-100% better when it comes to gaming compared to the one in this video.
(e.g. a GTX 1070/1080, Vega 56,RX 5600XT,5700 + 16GB RAM + i7 4th/6th/7th gen of R5 1600/2600)
watch out, don't make those aesthetic cooler comments, Zach will get upset .....lmao
Love the finals benchmarking
Thanks!
been searching for a good pc biuld for me and thanks gonna get the parts for my gaming pc biuld !
For 150$ more get a 50$ 240mma aio from id cooling and 100$ more get a 6600xt or 6700xt on the used marketplace (i score 66 or 66xt for just over 100 amd 6700xt around used )
if you got a 4500 instead of a 5600 you could have used a new rx 5700xt and still wouldn't see a bottleneck and get around 15% give or take more fps if your gonna copy this build i would recommend that or just get a better gpu the rx 5600xt for like 30 bucks more is a steal (also it's a really underrated card it can push 1080p high settings 144 fps in most modern E-sports titles)
You guys should redo this in a gen 4 pcie setup to compare pcie gens
I've been wanting a build like this but I need to get some $
keep it up I love the content
Arc a580 not 380/310. And 3600x cpu is the same price to get gen 4 support.
Thisis amazing Because most youtubers will say its 550 but they use sale ones that arent alway avaliable you said a build almost exactly 550 pounds
I like to get Toasty while watching Toasty Bros. 😎
Everytime I hear "toasty" while playing Mortal Kombat it reminds me of the Toasty Bros. 😂
I've been wanting to build a gaming computer but all my money from the last 6 years has gone to my mother's cancer treatment. She is only expected to live another month or two and I'm gonna be stuck with the cost of her funeral. I do love watching y'all and have followed you for years
sorry to hear man
really sorry to hear, hope your doing okay
Usually, a gigabyte or msi b550 can be had for cheap. Avoid ASRock and I would go no less that a RX 6600
A case I bought many moons ago had a small adapter/socket that fit standoffs and had a phillips on the other side.
It's worth mentioning that not every B450 board is going to be Gen 4. I have a MSI B450 Pro-VDH Max and it only supports PCI-E Gen 3.
There was a rgb 3 pin for the connector
The gigabyte a520 S2H has both a 12v RGB and 5v argb header. May need to look closer next time. 😂
Love your videos guys. Keep 'em coming !
Why don’t you guys adding some new games for the benchmark?
I would like to see them do doom or something different other than fortnight and apex or sc2
@@jamesbrassfield8409 exactly it’s always the same ones……
@@jamesbrassfield8409 DOOM is from like 2016 and runs on literally any potato. The Finals or PalWorld would be titles that make sense those days
Wz and Fortnite are highly demanding and very popular so it's the best benchmark
We try to rotate games when we can but once we do we get the exact opposite comments along where fortnite and apex went 😅 But thanks for the feedback
For my build I chose B550 Board but similar to this and using 32 gb of 60$ ram. That is barebones but works at 3200 speed. And all in a micro atx case, with a 1650 super that i got for 100$ so its also a 550$ build idk if it is better or slightly worse than this because I also used a Ryzen 5 5600x with a B550 A/C motherboard
Yes. But where is the CPU thermal paste/pad?
beautiful i wish i can have this huhu
6600 with amd 5500 with b450 is preferable
that stream was fun and thanks for the build!
Pretty annoyed with the release of the diypc q3 v2😂 bought the v1 last year and for the life of me couldnt figure out why tf the lights kept cycling
Love your vids. I recently tried that same psu and had to return it. The psu failed and the PC kept shutting down. It made a low tone and was just a mess in a low power system. I3 12100 and rtx 3060 12gb.
what kind of io shield is that?
Not bad for a 550 pc I might get one as my first
hooked on watching your videos, thank you so much, great help on what to buy when I do.. either coming to you guys or micro center since microcenter is 11 mins away.. and Toasty Bros.. do you all sell old pcs like Win98 or win2000 pci
Make a video on what mother board to choose and whats the best upgradable path with all different tiers maybe a long vid but if I put money towards something that’s developing everyday hopefully it’ll be upgradable
Or what parts are compatible and most upgradable ?
If you look through your comments I really need a PC my HP laptop of 4 years kicked the bucket last November-septembar 😢
Love you guys been watching for a while love the pieces❤❤❤
I would like to see a price to performance comparison between this system and a 8000 APU system without a dedicated GPU. I have to yhink it is similar, but with the 8000 series you are on the AM5 platform and have a future path.
Your vid are the best have been following you for a while also a new content creator but my pc is so bad and I also play on Xbox one
Thanks For The Daily Fire Videos!
Honestly the GPU is the only time I'll go used for, ditch the 6500XT and go like a much better card like a 6650XT or 6700.
Hey guys I need your help i want a pc on this budget but the only game imma be playing is moder warfare 3 and warzone 3 and gta what do you recommend
Bro I have a build for 400 bucks:-
CPU - i3 10100f
GPU - RX 580(better than rx 6500xt in vid)
Case - Ant sport elite 1100(I have cheapest out on this it is like 25 bucks)
Ram - Corsair vengeance performance sodium 2x8gb
Storage - 512 gig SSD
Psu - Zebronics 450w 80+ bronze psu
Best $570 gaming build, all new parts :
Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor $134.99
PowerColor Fighter Radeon RX 6600 8 GB Video Card $189.99
ASRock B550M-HDV Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $79.99
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $35.00
Patriot P300 512 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive $37.99
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case $39.99
Apevia Prestige 600 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply $51.99
Total: $569.94
Would a rx 6600 be better for this build
If you look around as I did. I found a Windows 11 pro key from $5.99.
perfect price range 🥳
Can this play mmincraft in good fps with shader mods
day 15 (i’m going to skip the ones i missed from now on )
I already have a 6GB GPU (GTX 1060). Would it be worth it to upgrade to a newer GPU that has the same amount of VRAM or upgrade to at least an 8GB GPU? My CPU is an i7 8700k.
I mean for 550 bucks, id rather have this PC over an xbox or PS5 anyday of the week, but for the money, I'd still rather buy something more up to date just because 550 bucks is still a lot of money.
honestly i would drop the 5600 for a 5500/4500 and get RX 6600
Saving $33 with the 5500. About $50 with the 4500 but that proc is much slower. Going to this much effort putting together a new build I would keep the 5600 in there its worth it.
I would go down to a 3600. It's pretty much the same as the 5500
@@pimplepimp yeah
I asked and they returned lesss go
why wouldn't u show off how cheap amd ryzen 5 7600 iGPU build or ryzen 5000 APU build can be. and how many less cables there can be with a modular PSU
I just bought a pc with a 2080ti and an Intel i9900k for 500$ from a friend at work...feel like that's better
I have a 6500 xt, I'm not too bothered about it not any of the games I play don't use too much vram, not my choice just something my ex picked out lol and honestly it's been fine with me with my ryzen 5 5600 I just want something that works for me. edit:, I've had the gpu since last year, haven't had any issues so far if anyone wonders.
im late but the 3600 would have been bettter which could get you a better gpu
Is it running windows if so which one would be best
Just get an RX 6600... double the VRAM and 65% better performance for $195 right now
the other day I ordered that timotec nvme 512gb and was toasted , did not worked I returned and went with a patriot and everything was fine
When you can spend an extra $30 and get twice the VRAM, I just don't see the point of buying a 6500XT, the 6600 is just so much better.
im saving up money to buy a new pc with all new parts i3-12100f rx6600 1tb nvme 16gb 3200mhz ive made my whole list of the parts and the pc only costs about 525€ and i found the same prebuilt one in a local it store for 630€ but the whole setup with new monitor 165hz and peripherals shall cost like 7-800€ cant wait : )
and i saw and old video of you guys building a pc with the same cpu and gpu i saved it as bookmark to watch as build guide love ur stuff
Love your vids
i was looking at a pc for my friend that he got from a friend and i have no clue how they did it but they snapped the usb 3.0 like all the blue shit and ripped all the pins out of the board horrifying....
You guys are awesome 👌
shut up aleksander
I would use i3 12100 with a rx 580
This build could've been better. You should've went with a Ryzen 5 5500 and an RX 6600.
What screwdriver (black and green) are you using?
I would personally save money on the CPU and get a Ryzen 5500 to afford at least an 8GB GPU (rx 6600 for example)
Would the rx 6600 work with everything else in this build? (I dont know shit abt pcs and im tryna get one for cheap)
@@angelisnotapimp yeah it is an awesome 1080p budget card. It works perfect with everything in the video. Way better than a 6500 xt which is really outdated. you can even pair it with a ryzen 5500 cpu, if you want to go even cheaper!
Ditch the 5600 and 6500xt and change it to a r5 5500 and rx6600
No pitchforks bros I'm building a ddr3 build in 2024 cause I'm doing ultra budget carry on
I hope i win the pc i have an old ps4 that can barely run fortnite. Great video toasty❤❤❤❤
good for price
LOVE YOU VIDEOS
Can we see an intel gpu build?? 🙏
watch our $500 build guide for 2024
I got a video idea you should build a pc from your viewers sending you parts and another video idea is using ai to build one
Did u saw how many fps they got
Why would you gain performance from a gen 4 nvme?
Cause gen 4 has higher read/write speeds
For this price I rather get a Ryzen 3 4100 and pair it with a RX 6600
switch the 5600 to a 5500 and 6500xt to the 6600, you will thank me
I don't get why they'd even recommend that 6500xt at all, 6600xt is not much more money and the performance difference is huge.
