- Muffler delete vs muffler delete & xipe vs borla s type & x pipe vs Corsa extreme cat back
Thought i would throw all of my setups together to show the differences between them and the prices you will be paying.
I would say the x pipe and muffler delete is the best bang for your buck, sounds similar to the corsa exhaust just not as high quality or refined.
Both setups with the muffler deletes had a good bit of drone unfortunately, both setups with mufflers did not have any!
I would say each setup is a great choice depending on the sound/loudness you're after and your budget!
The corsa extreme is a very expensive setup, but it has none of the downfalls of the other system and all of the positives, very happy with it. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

I like the Corsa the best, but I am very impressed by just the muffler delete.
I have the muffler delete currently and it does sound great but I just ordered some Corsas because I haven't woke the neighbors yet.

@jonathan A v6 is a total waste, V8 definitely best option but the eco boost is second best for sure

@@D67578 ecoboost is actually much better than the V6, its boosted (Which is always a wonderful gift) and it makes 300hp for a really nice price tag of 28k. Thats a really good bang for buck, not everyone can afford a GT.
Tbh the 225$ muffler delete and resonator sounds the best.

Wow the 225 one sounded insane! The sound of the S types emphasized the overall sound of the third one imo.. So the 225 sounded better. But nothing compsres to the Xtremes!

Based on this video, I went ahead and pulled the trigger to purchase the SR X Pipe and going to delete the mufflers until I can get some Corsas. Thanks a lot for uploading a video that gets straight to the point and isn’t click bait. You’re awesome brother 🤝🙏
Forget prices, the muffler delete sounds the best on the S550.

I have a 2017 with Hpipe and muffler delete and a 2015 with xpipe and muffler delete. There's no Drone in either car I drive the 15 down the interestate 60 miles a day. There absolutely no reason to spend more than 250$ on a mustang exhaust to get the best sound

Jiokua M from what I’ve read the h pipe is a much deeper but quieter sound. The x Pope also is better for performance especially when combined with long tubes and what not. I feel the x pipe is the way to go and it’s what I will be getting today!
@@joshisthebestwooha20 dude I'm sorry I never saw this comment probably to late by now. But after each pipe broke in per say the xpipe sounded much better. The H pipe actually got super raspy
By far Corsa sounds the best, second best for the stupid cheap value gotta be muffler delete.

I love the comparison! I could listen to this on repeat every night to fall asleep. Haha! I like the muffler delete until money is saved up for the Corsa. I was always a Borla fan until hearing that Corsa.
Muffler delete with an x-pipe replacing the middle resonator is the best bang for the buck. The stock s550 resonator is a corn maze, so getting rid of that for an X is actually performance upgrade...plus sounds so good

I have the x pipe muffler delete set up. Sounds gnarly, loud as all hell. Only reason I would upgrade to Corsa is for the drone reduction

I had a 17 in GB and I regret getting rid of it to this day. I ran long tubes with Corsa Extremes and I have to say they are very loud and blatty but in higher rpms they scream and sound amazing with zero drone.
I’d say that’s worth every nickel you pay for them.

Man I have borla on my ATS and they sound good but on this stand it’s much louder. I’m really considering getting rid of my Cadillac and get me a v6. Nice to have so many options

It’s most likely the rears. Resonator delete doesn’t get the GT that loud.

Victor Angelo Two completely different things. You'll notice the resonator looks like a suitcase. With a muffler delete & a resonator delete your car will be incredibly loud. Though you'll need to do some research and determine whether you'll experience any highway drone. For me, I could give two shits since I ride a motorcycle.

Wish I could find a video of Borla Atak and an H pipe.. I feel like that would be a good sound because of the volume of the atak and the deepness of the H pipe versus an X pipe. I have borla atak, x pipe, and longtube headers and it’s just rasp city

I know this video came out months ago, but it's right on time. I own a 2005 v6 mustang (my second one), I love my stang but I'm ready for some v8 5.0 gt action, and I'm so ready. I test drove a 14 gt cs that had borla s type exhaust, that car sounded so good, I instantly fell in love. The dealer sold that car before I could get back to it, however, I'm gonna get a 13 or 14 mustang, but it has to have the borla exhaust. I loved that sound that bbn orla made for your video, what was that set up. I apologize if I'm not asking the correct question for what I want to know, I'm started late in life getting to know cars. Thanks for any help you can provide.

i like the corsa at high rpms but at low rpms, its just not loud enough
totally agree with this. at full song the Corsas sound amazing but you have to get on it to hear it. I had extremes and I got roush axle backs and swapped out the extreme mufflers and kept the 3inch double x pipe and it's just as loud at wot but you can hear it so much more on light acceleration
@@alexodonnell5587 is two kinds I'm looking at to purchase myself. The ones you have, the Roush or Flowmaster Outlaws. They both have a deep sound I like. Which one do you think I should get
I had Flowmasters on my 07 GT and they are nice and deep but they did drone quite a bit more than the Roushs. The Roush do drone but very very minimal to me. I love the setup I have. I had the muffler guy save the extremes incase I wanted to switch back but I have zero desire to do that

Already have a muffler delete on my 2017 gt, should I go ahead and get the corsa or just spend the 125 and get the x pipe? Main concern is the drone... is it worth it?
Definitely worth it. I have the Borla Atak (loudest one by Borla) and I would have much rather gone the muffler and resonator delete. Mine sounds great in terms of sound quality, but I like the loudest possible. Heard a guy at a meet I just went to with no resonator or mufflers and his sounded crazy good throughout the whole RPM range.
How it’s the drone?
The drone is terrible dude. Yes the exhaust sounds good but If it’s your only car and daily it will get old pretty fast

No muffler is almost always louder than a muffler. Just different sounds.

corsa extreme is too raspy, still like magnaflow resonated h pipe with roush axle pipe , true clean deep muscle car sound
recommendation. I am currently running a FBO stang with LTH catted+Hpipe+roush axle, without resonator it will be crazy loud and obnoxious, so I welded in two magnaflow 10416 on each side of the Hpipe, the 10416 is straight through muffler, 2.5 inch fit pretty well on the Hpipe, the sound is tamed and refined, morning start bearable, no drone whatsoever, normal driving with deep tone, when u pull it , it will still scream like a race car. Sometime it will give pops on the back, a plus for me
I’m getting a 2015-2017 Gt soon and I’m trying to figure out what to get. I really want the Corsa xtremes but it’s hard trying to justify spending 1500 on some pipes.

Crazy thing is I had the Corsa extremes, was on the car when I bought it.Then I sold them to have $ to modify the exterior, now am going to do the muffler delete with the x pipe cuz I miss it being loud an aggressive 🤦🏻♀️
