take a shot every time I say highground or payload 😀
So you just wanna kill me?
instructions unclear, i got fired from my job
Lol
my liver has exploded
bro asking me to gup in a whole bottle of tequila
I’ve always wanted someone to walk through each map and talk about optimal position management, so I’m all in for this. I’m donating to the stream to fund this project!!
Spilo has some good videos breaking down maps as well
Least average ow player 😂😂
@@kippieluckinsSpilo is the goat YT/Twitch coach imo
Havana is definitely misunderstood, especially first point. Blizney world middle section can be confusing to metal ranks (allergic to high ground), in the same way that middle section of Hollywood is. Even if they know high ground is good, they aren’t sure which building to take/hold, and when to drop/contest.
Not taking highground is only half of the problem in lower ranks.. the other half is this obsession with playing on cart..lets take point a route 66 for example..your playing sigma. You set up on top of gas station while the rest of your team sets up low ground..what do you do as sigma
@@bobbyward2440 get on the mic and yell at them
@@bobbyward2440Tell them to come up if they don't you have to play next to your team. In order of best play is: Play a great play together, play a bad play together, play a great play alone, play a bad play alone.
So while your team is comprising you, you are also comprising your team if you're not tank don't care as much but if you're tank you got to play with your team
A playlist of this for every map (maybe ignore push and koth for now) would be a brilliant resource. I think this is a major issue players face in gold to diamond ranks and even masters. Having a shared understanding of map advantage makes games way more interesting because people naturally work together. When people want to do completely different strategies the game is guaranteed to fall apart.
Even in mid gm people dont get it
honestly a guide on Numbani would be great. it feels like the map was gone from the game for too long and everyone forgot how to play it. the number of first point full holds i see now is crazy.
First point numbani into a dva is the overwatch endgame
Yh, I agree. I think Numbani is the worst map, but maybe it's because I don't know how to get past first point
I think the geometry of Numbani A is just even more punishing for uncoordinated attackers in 5v5 than it was in 6v6. There are 4 different paths to take that players are basically hard-committed to once they take them, with no way to change lanes or even pass resources to players on other lanes. If people don’t pay attention to what their teammates are doing, which is the norm at the vast vast majority of skill levels, it’s really easy to get badly split up, isolated, and picked off one-by-one. And then once the attackers start to take losses, the regroup is brutally difficult because there’s basically nothing that respawners can do to help a teammate who is more than like 20m ahead of them. Most of the time in average ranks, it seems like point A is taken by exploiting the defense getting over-confident.
_Edit:_ The tunnel area just after point B, and the rooms/passages above it, create a similar issue for defenders at the end of B and attackers at the beginning of C, where the team gets hard-split and often easily dismantled if the timing or arrangement of heroes is wrong (e.g. both supports on the same lane so the other lane has no healing).
@@ossifiedtoad798also the highground is insane, if you have a tank like doom who can just boop the enemy tank off every time they come up main then your sojourn/ashe/soldier can just manhandle the enemy. Only real option is to go through small hallways where an empowered punch or junkrat or mei can just demolish the team.
would love more map guides, its a type of content that creators tend to ignore and ive found that knowing the best positions and strategies on each map is one of the most underrated keys to climbing.
I think it’s so cool that over the years of playing my natural tendency’s have already got me playing like this. I never watched guides or nothing and now that I’m stuck in my rank I’m starting to watch guides. It’s crazy how we naturally problem solve without thinking too hard about the game.
true that
This is what ive been asking myself all along, how do you make people in comp understand that comp isnt just about shooting each other. The game would be much much different if not for the payload.
Keep doing these for all the maps. Just played my first game on Dorado with this video in mind and my team swept. We were unstoppable!
Yeatle has some of the best analysis strategie vids
This kind of walk through for how to play each map is truly rare to come by. Would ❤ to see one for each map like this👍👍
This is so informative!! Id love to see more of these vids for other maps. I had a match today where we got stuck in the tunnel on shambali 😭
Yeatle making the best OW content. Love to see more of this, thanks Yeat!
more of this please! i have been looking for map guide videos and your's is concise but still really helpful. thanks yeatle
Love these map guides. Keep em coming! 🙂
I can’t wait every map guide. Thank you 🙏🏻
I really wish you upload more man your content is so helpful
Thank you for this lol, I had this one horrible tank game on Dorado hated the map ever since 💀
I love this map concept! The idea that we can break down a match into points, then further into corners (each point has 3-4 corners where u wanna take fights), then analyze the best positions to play each corner as well as adjustments based on team comp and tempo...insane. There are SO many skills in OW that exist outside of hero knowledge and general map skills are IMPORTANT! Maybe include a segment on if there is any map tech or special things about maps. TY Yeatle!
Eggcellent! Thanks for this, my dude.
Great guide. Thank you.
I love this!! Pls more Map Guides!!!!
definitely one of the high-ground videos of all time! cheers yaytle
This would make a great series !
this is so helpful please do more
I would love a Junkertown guide. I think I've gotten full held there on first point more than any other map by far.
Thank you for this
this is great! pls do more for other maps
Eichenwalde is a beast. This kind of video for that map would be greatly appreciated.
OMG FINALLY (could you do paraiso or Gibraltar next?
I would rather say Midtown needs a guide. Every time i play on that map one side dominates really hard its never even
But still thanks for the content!
Please continue this series ❤
These map tutorials are great. Like the digestible way they're laid out
Please make vids for every map and maybe include which tank dps support are best . I just started playing a year ago and I feel like there’s a huge learning curve even after you learn all the abilities of hero’s
This is fantastic
Should do this for every map, great points
I literally just finished this map in quick play. Lol. Would've been helpful to have this before 😆
Would love to have a map guide like this for Blizzard World or Busan. Two of the most over hated maps by the community but I think they're really good maps.
AKA the most punishing map for ppl who only push streets
high quality overwatch content? 100% yeatle
awesome video mr yeatle
no time for stream, but love your voice and content 🎉
Please do more of these
I really like playing Ashe in this map to contest highground and make sure my tank can brawl or dive the low ground people and my team have better angles, really good map when the team knows what they are doing
1:02 call for help and sym fell back to the ground😂
Banger!
Dorado is one of my worst maps, thanks for this! A Numbani guide would be great too
Never forget this, Anakin. Always take the highground first....
now this is top tier content
I've seen so many "where do we hold?!" mistakes on Havana
me watching: hm yes, highground control, intelligent off-angles, ebb and flow!
me running my comp games after: horrifically tank diffed but someone find a way to blame my supports
I would definitely like a look at antarctic peninsula. I don't understand those maps at all.
Comp dif, ults, and the power of friendship
I just played a match on low diamond following this guide, easiest match of my life, the whole team died 0 times on attack because we never lost the advantage, it was unbelievable
that was helpful after 6 years of this map release :D
Route 66 map guide would be a godsend!
The entire right side from start to finish is favorable for attackers on this map
"You're not in a jazz bar in the 70s with no fear"
Me listening to the background music to map named like a snack: 🧑🦯🕺🕴
Securing the high ground...
Sym at 1:02: I’m out this bih
Yeatle can you please explain which characters are better in power-of-friendship comps
Please do Numbani or Paraiso next 😇
This is helpful
Its over yeatle, I have the highground!
Ah, the rare Yeatle upload.
Please more maps
Havana guide please!!
Just split the lower and high ground spots on defense according to the comp you’re running lol, having full team high ground is an easy wipe if the attack team is organized.
The power of friendship!? No wonder my team always loses at Dorado. 😂
Finally… The dorito guide🙏
In my experience 1st and 3rd points are done pretty well by the community (plat player) but wow is the 2nd point just done so consistently badly, thanks for showing just how different a good approach to 2nd point dorado is supposed to look.
TLDR - Take high ground. Push cart past corners. Take high ground. Push cart past arches. And most importantly take high ground.
Not a fan of maps you have to go on a pilgrimage halfway around the world to advance if you don't run a vertical character. #morestairsinDorado
Antarctic peninsula next or new Gibraltar
Take a shot each time you hear “high ground”
watchpoint map !
Thaaaatt's a W.
Can you do Havana?
The main thing he says is HIGH GROUND.
Okay, high ground is very important ! Thanks !
Now do the same thing for Push 😊
high ground simulator
Actually ur wrong
How you play is you hold W through main and if that doesnt work its gg go next healer diff
hey yeatle !!
yoyo
do anubis next😍
Haven't played a lot of Overwatch 2, huh?
I keep my ground high, so your sky low
🎤😎🤙
Gaming Goblins approve this video
I play the map like this every time and I get so much shit for it lol.
Nice
le yeat
Please do Numbani
Blizzard World would be sweet.
We just not gonna talk about the sym at 1:00?
Did you say "Dorado is the most misunderstood map"? Nonono. It's 100% Numbani. 9 years in the game and metal ranks are totaly clueless playing it.
Great video anyway!
Doesnt matter the map, my team just wants to go mid all the time there could be 80 paths to take but they will always go to the same one. I deserve it cuz im low rank 😢
Me as tank going long path to take good position or flank enemy teamm mb got ciuple kills
My team: dying 1 by 1 and texting "Tank, where tf are you, tank diff" etc. etc.
We need Havanna
😎
Asking for help😂😂 yeah right not in quick play
did I hear highground?
hi algorythm
I was in this video wooo
