what a fantastic goodbye to Norway. This is truly the essence of photography: our relationship to time, immortalizing a moment, a scene, we do not want to let go. We say we witness change, we document it, but we hold on, we don't let go. At least, this is how I feel and how I question myself. Why do I photograph? It would be really interesting having this discussion altogether

Thoroughly enjoyed this Adrian. Fantastic atmosphere and love the style of filming. I’ve really been thinking about the transience of our world and I suppose the danger is getting stressed out by thinking we have to get everywhere and do everything we can before it’s gone then forgetting to enjoy the moment and what we have right under our noses. This happens to be at autumn time to the point I end up with decision fatigue just thinking where to go before it’s past it’s peak.
Love the message and the photos are spectacular. I will go out and shoot after watching this 🙏☺️

We *are* running out of time, in many ways. Many places I hike and photograph are burned, and will never be the same in my lifetime. I look at so many things through this lens now.

Beautiful and deep talk. In the same way, the time to see and enjoy 'landscape' of life is getting shorter and shorter. We better get the most out of it and appreciate experiencing it, for we can't even go back to 'see' it again. The only good thing about death is that when we die we never miss where we where before. Thank you for your wonderful videos.
Very relevant video for me. I'd been meandering along in life with lots of plans. Then out of nowhere I had a potentially catastrophic medical issue which made me rethink my life priorities. Thankfully I'm all good now and I feel like I've been given a second chance at life and take nothing for granted. Whether we realise it or not we are all running out of time and need to make the most of what we have now.
The material existence have limited possibilities. Yet the availabiities of material existences is itself plentifull. In this life we need to abuse our freedom to secure the possibilities of every lives. For it is from that new place that we come back. Hopefully we would have done a good job enough so that we won't feal that we are running out of time.
You are to be commended on understanding the importance of cherishing the "now," this present moment.
I know that you take these trips with the goal and intent of making your photographs, but it's never limited to just that. The images are a big part of it, but even without them, it is the journey that makes it all worth the effort.

Greetings from Portland, Oregon! This video appeared at the perfect time, right after my ex texted me to tell me that her dog had just passed away, a dog that I am fortunate to have shared several years of my life with. I've got a sweet dog of my own now, and although he's just growing out of his puppy phase, in the blink of an eye he's going to be an old man...and so will I. For now, I'm trying to enjoy every moment I have with him, and capture some of those moments with my camera. Anyways, thank you again for another great video, and get in touch when you're on the West Coast - I'll show you some gorgeous places to photograph!
