Good Morning Adrian, it's a slow Sunday morning here - drenched in a thick blanket of heavy mist - and I'm thoroughly enjoying watching you create beautiful artistic master-pieces. Thank you so much.
Ps! If you drive E6 on your way back home, you should cross the beautiful Nessundet Bridge to Helgøya Island in Lake Mjøsa. On the southern part of Helgøya you should park by Skafferiet Cafe and walk down to Lake Mjøsa, to view the Skreiafjella Mountains. Helgøya is the northernmost part where oak trees spread naturally by acorns. If you decide to go to the Totenåsen Hills, you must go to Svartdalstjerna Forest Reserve, a true gem!
Haha, it totally did. Actually, I was saying how disappointed I was! It wasn't any better than other stores, unfortunately 😁 but yeah, not sure what happened there. Thank you, Wojtek!
For the stepping stones in the water, I think I actually like the one where they are just beneath the surface better. Not sure why, though of course, your selected composition is super.
I like it too, but I don't know, I still like it more with the water a little bit lower. This is the good about photography, though, it's far from being objective, flat and boring. Everyone will see something different :)
Helgelandkysten translates to The Holy Land's coast. Helgelandsbrua translates to The Holy Land's bridge. When putting Norwegian names into Google Translate they often return something sensible. If they don't you may need to split the word into its components. If you know English or German it is easy to figure out where to split. Eg. Helge Land Kysten.
Ooooh, thanks! I figured those long names were like German, compound words, just didn't know how to pronounce them at all. I'm trying to learn Norwegian using Duolingo, but it's going to take a while haha. Thanks for the help, though!
Oh yes, your favorite image is indeed superb. I liked a lot the lone trees though. The drone view of the lakes, waterfalls and fjord are quite something. How not to be enthralled by such a landscape, it seems that all the views are potentially beautiful compositions!
I agree, Calie. It's so beautiful everywhere that one gets overwhelmed. A random spot in Norway could be a whole national park in many other countries.
Your photography is just amazing you find the beautiful or Interesting abstracts in the most unlikely places , I recently was taking photos of stacked shipping containers at Port Melbourne, 😀 sounds boring I know but it wasn't 😉
Hey, Christine! That does not sound boring at all. I was taking photos of some random barrels and other pieces of garbage at a marina just yesterday haha. I do think you can find something beautiful almost anywhere, so please keep shooting those containers :)
Hi, I just found your youtube channel and I wanted to say that I love your passion for travel and photography. I love the photo's you took and the scenery is amazing. I would love to see more :)
Thank you, Bart! Glad you liked the video. Norway is breathtaking, and I feel so lucky for having the opportunity to go on this road trip. I hope I can share some of that with all of you through these videos. There will be more for sure, don't forget to check the ones I have already posted!
Thanks, Joe. And you're right. It doesn't make any better, but want to make clear I only did it on small(ish) secondary roads, with no cars around, and going very slow. In any case, not right, and I found a better way now.
Yes! I don't know why, they did have audio when I was working on the edit, something must have happened on the export. And that's why you should always play the exported version and not rely on the working project 😅
So stupid you were! The Helgeland Coast is the nr. 1 photo location of Norway's nr. 1 coastal photographer, Olemartin Evensen at Abelvær. Hope you take the time to visit him!

The tree bending over the mountain was my favourite photo, and the drone footage of the needle shaped bridge was great too.
This country is incredible for drone filming / photography, so dramatic no matter where you go. Thanks for watching!

Good morning, Heather! I'm glad to hear, I do enjoy that kind of morning as well :) Thank you for watching!

WOW...What a beautiful place, and brilliant people.
Thank you!
I just found your videos and wow, I have never watched someone so calming. Between your demeanor, your pictures and the scenery ... I'm so relaxed.
That is very true. Great vibes
Welcome, Alexis! Glad you liked the video and the pace. Norway does make you feel that way :)

Beautiful images. Norway is stunning and you have made me want to go there.
You better hurry, if not it will all be destroyed by wind turbine farms!
Me tooooo! 😅
It's beautiful. So beautiful that is not even fair.
I LOVE that first tree shot! So good. I envy you your trip.
That was a beautiful shot!
Thanks! I feel so lucky for being here.

Yes. I agree. Absolutely beautiful location!

Wonderful, wonderful images as ever. What are you going to do with them all. Please do a book! One that we can get in the UK.
Yes! Absolutely
Thank you, GeoffM! Yes, I think there will be a book about this trip. And I hope I can ship it to more places!
Thanks for the video tour Adrian, now I have to go to Norway.
I hate Norway. It's not fair. But yes, you should definitely visit.
Ahah we all have too

Loved all the shots of the lake with the stepping stones. Shouldn’t be driving one handed, though.
Thanks, Joe. And you're right. It doesn't make any better, but want to make clear I only did it on small(ish) secondary roads, with no cars around, and going very slow. In any case, not right, and I found a better way now.
Awesome video! What focus settings are you using?
Thanks! I use autofocus, aperture priority mode shooting wide open. I control the exposure with the exposure compensation dial.
Tractor eggs 😆
I like that haha
Missing som audio at the end
Yes! Not sure what happened there, because those clips did have audio when I was editing. Oh well, I didn't say anything really important :)
Seem to have lost a couple of audio clips along the way.
