Fantic GT Super Six Rebuild Time-Lapse

- A time-lapse video showing the rebuilding of my Fantic GT Super Six from a bare frame.
Although a very tidy bike, there were various things that needed sorting; replacing the terrible 'spaghetti' wiring for the brake lights and indicators, fit a new front brake disc and caliper, fit the correct size piston, fit the correct clutch parts, rebuild the carburettor, fit a new air pipe and air filter, fit new fork seals and dust covers, fit new rear suspension units, fit new headstock bearings, fit a UK spec rear light bracket and light, fit new clutch and throttle cables, plus much more!
It has been a bit of a journey with new parts coming from Italy, France and various parts of the UK but a totally worthwhile exercise.

@@MH-ng3wp Unless it has been upgraded in the past you should have the 4 friction plates and 3 steel plates. You can probably find the relevant parts on eBay from Italy but Xavier will sort you out if you get in touch with him with some photos of your clutch. Hi, I have a cylinder with the code 240.47.01.5100.0. Ist it the same as yours and where did you get the piston for it?
Although this bike has a TX240 frame, the complete engine, gearbox and exhaust are TX220. So, the cylinder is 220.13.6100 (9hp), piston is specific for this cylinder and is not compatible with the 240 cylinder. Your 240 cylinder is very similar to the Caballero TX190 cylinder, please ask LeMinarelliste in France or Bosisio in Italy, links to both are in the description of this video. Cheers Mark
