So glad the decision is made to slow down, to do what you enjoy. As soon as the white board came out, l worried about commitment. I cried when you mentioned not happy with projects. I had an order to hobbi I was very pleased at first. My first order was shipped in two parts the first part came in 7 days the second half is not here yet, it has now been 12 days since I first placed the order and I put in a second order and wishing I had not done it now. But I did so we still see his it rolls.
When I ordered from Hobbii, it took weeks to arrive. That had nothing to do with Hobbii, as per the tracking it was here in the US within a couple days. It was our customs that held it up for almost a month... I know this doesn't matter as you ordered months ago, but "just sayin'" as I doubt the issue is actually a Hobbii issue. Have a great day. 🐞
Nancy, plz do what makes you happy. Crocheting something that isn’t giving you any positive feelings, it will just frustrate you. Let it go for a week or two. If it’s still not making you happy, wait another week or two. If you aren’t liking it, than frog it and do something that will make you feel good. I have dyslexia, I only use tutorial. No, I don’t think it’s cheating. I think using both written and tutorials can be used together. Use whatever will work for you. Good luck.
Nancy Nancy if your not enjoying doing Sophie's then just dont do it. We crochet for enjoyment not to hate it and ignore it I once made a partial blanket that I just hated doing. I got half done and was ready to just chuck it. I sat with a smile on my face and frogged the whole thing. I didnt realise how much it was dragging me down till the day I frogged it.
