I agree. As a European beer drinker. I love waterery/smoother beer like coors lights. Its my favorite beer hands down. 10/10. So I know where you're coming from. The after taste is just something else.
@@ronaldtheriot when i went to the USA and had Coors Light it tasted completely diffrent from the Coors Light brewed in Canada that we get the real American version has sweet bready Malts a strong body and beer flavor and it tasted stronger. the Coors Light in USA is 4.2% and it had a creamy fomay white head
Hi Jay, I really like when you circle back to review the solid macros like coors light. I still prefer "regular strength" American Style lagers of the 4.6-5.0% alc range. However, in the light beer arena, Coors is one of my favourites.
As I was watching this great review I was having some pizza for dinner with a Bush Light. I finally got the perfect definition for these light beers....they go well with food as an accompaniment as you said! Everything has it's place.
Coors light is meant to be served ice cold it's refreshing and light easy to drink. Just because a beer is meant to be enjoyed ice cold doesn't mean it's a bad beer its just the style and the people who drink it enjoy it for what it is.
Coors Light was my go to 90's beer whenever out with friends at the pubs or even dinner at a restaurant with the family, before i really developed a taste for the better stuff.
@@ronaldtheriot Coors Light was my first ever Beer that I had at age 20. It's still 1 of my favorite macro Light Lager style Beers. Or favorite Macro Lagers in general. Here in Canada Coors Light is brewed by Molson Coors Canada in Montcom New Brunswick. And it's 4 percent ABV. I've never had the real American version. Which is most likely better
I don’t drink these lighter beers very often, however, they definitely have their place. Beautiful for a hot day when in need of something light. I also find the history fascinating. Great review as always!
Love my Coors Banquet. I don't often drink light beers but I go with Miller Lite if I do. If I'm going cheap I go with Keystone Light or Natural Light. Cheers 🍻
I like craft beer. But I always keep coors light on hand. It serves it purpose, it is crisp, refreshing and had a pleasant taste. I don't understand why people hate on it so much.
Hello my friend , I enjoy your reviews mainly because you don't drink to get hammered. I agree you definitely need food with light beers. I usually drink beers that are about 6 percent ABV. I watch your reviews at work when we are slow. Keep up the good work my brother you keep my job entertaining.
I enjoy Coors Light. My favorite light beer since Miller High Life light was discontinued. I noticed a 40oz Country Club malt liquor bottle in the background! Is this a recent bottle? If so I would love to try it!
I tried this one last night for the first time in a very long time in fact I was drinking this one before I discovered their other beer Coors Banquet but last night I was at Walmart and decided you know what I'm going to get a 24 pack and give this one a try again and it wasn't as bad as I remembered it being
Me, I love Coors. I just can't get ahold of it very often in Germany. I know, most Americans would say "why don't you just drink German beer then, it's so much better anyway", well, not necessarily. I kinda grew up on that stuff & got tired of it as time went by. Most Americans would probably say the same about themselves & Coors, Bud, Miller, Michelob, Pabst etc but still. I love commercial, mass-marketed American beer.
Whenever I'm thinking about buying beer I'm not used to buying I always go to your videos first. Great review as usual Jay 👌 👍 I have a question, is this similar tasting to the Golden Banquet? I imagine it's just a watered down version of it. Asking because here I can only get Coors Light.
Need to try Coors Light. Bud Light is typically my light beer but the lack of flavor is starting to get to me. Budweiser is my usual go to but, for fishing i need something new... Haha. Good review my friend.
A beer I do drink a lot definitely drink it really cold as cold as the Rockies LOL. An I love Pastrami LOL Irish Red is good like you said Coors Banquet is Awesome as well. Great Vid
See until I watch this video I never even knew a brewery even tried to make a light beer that early on and like you said it was probably a totally different recipe than what they used in 78
had this at many house parties in a can, maybe even in a keg straight into a red cup. fast forward ten years and ill pick up a 40 oz glass bottle of this when the occasion fits. coors light for me, the yeast strain shines more in the flavor department. grapeskins and such
I need to do a blind taste challenge between Coors Light and Keystone Light. From memory, Keystone Light has more flavor. But, Coors Light is more crisp. Very close in terms of flavor.
You could be Matt's dad. demolition ranch. Or doppelganger with a couple years in-between. Either way your a handsom man , gentleman and a scholar. love your videos brother keep up the good work and drink one for me. Cheers
Enjoying a cold crispy Coors light as I watch this awesome review 👌 would be awesome if you did coors banquet vs coors light although I bet banquet would win, I wanna know the comparison and if it tastes the same, if coors light is just a diluted version. I've seen some of coors light vs banquet reviews but they didn't really get into if they taste similar. I remember when you did a review of the banquet with your friend one of you spoke of that Banana flavor and I was like " oh damn there it is!" In the silver bullet
@ronaldtheriot thank you for doing the videos man, I appreciate that a lot. Interesting enough. If you Google coors silver bullet and go to the images. It even used to have the same coors banquet design on the cans...
I have to argue with your 91. As far as "light" beer goes, the "style", what's better? What would be a 99? I'd argue nothing would be better than Lite, Coors Light, and Bud Light. They'd all be 97-99s. These brewers at the macro companies know how to make beer and they've perfected the particular styles that they brew in my opinion.
I have been trying to find out the differences with the brewing processes with Coors Light and Keystone Light. I have not been able to find out much information. It is strange to me that Keystone Light has more flavor than Coors Light but gets zero marketing. Do you know how they are different?
the Coors Light we get here in Canada im from BC is completely diffrent from the American Coors Light which is brewed in America and is 4.2 percent ABV
I loathe this beer. But man, is it ever a good pair with a delicious burger in the hot summer - anytime for that. It's good at knocking a salty meal out your mouth. Refreshing... somewhat.
