I’ve been drinking Miller Lite for over ten years. I tend to switch things up between this,Coors Light,Heineken Light and many other beers variety is the spice of life cheers 🍺.
This one now probably has the most body and flavor out of all the light beers. Miller High Life Light to me was the light beer with the most body and flavor. Its an A in my book.
I remember as a high school kid in the later 70's working at a grocery that sold nothing but non-perishable canned items (sort of like a precursor to Sam's/Costco). People always asked me where the Vienna Sausage cans were at....as a Jewish kid I had no idea what those things were, but people always asked for them! The grocery was called Bilo Discount Foods...it was owned by Kroger.
@@ronaldtheriot im having a Miller Lite right now here in Canada the Miller Lite we get up here is brewed in Canada by Molson Coors Company. we started getting Miller Lite in Canada starting in June of 2015. and the Candian version is 4.O percent ABV
It really is impressive, how many awards this beer has won, over the years, at both the WBC and GABF. I drank a Miller Lite, earlier, and there is no doubt in my mind that this beer is excellent, even if it is too light for my personal tasting preferences. Great video, Ron! Cheers!
Ron, your gonna think I've lost my sense. But let me say, I been sick bad the past week. Unable to eat, Much less anything else. Yesterday I woke feeling better. So that evening I rode to my neighbors. He brought out his cooler and handed me a ice cold Miller Lite. I think the being sick must have cleaned my pilate. That Miller Lite was the best tasting beer I ever drank. And, for the first time, I experienced something I never had before... Bitterness on my tongue. HOPS! I could feel it buzzing on my tongue and the bitterness not only tasted good but was of ideal strength and balance. I drank 2 more after that to the same result. Yeah it was Miller Lite, but it didn't taste like it.
Last night I had a Coors light, Bud Light, and a Mich Ultra. Tiny hop bitterness in the three. Especially the ultra. The Coors tasted the best but left a strange after taste in my mouth I didn't like. When I want to go with a Light beer in the future I'll stick with Miller Lite or Abita Light which is a all time favorite of mine, only it's not cheap.
Fine review on Miller Lite, drinking some right now. Your discourse and insight into differing things are what makes me keep coming back to your videos, such as the mini-review of the vienna sausages. My grandpa used to call them "Vie (vye) Weenies" and that is what I've called them ever since. Great review, Ronald! Laissez le bon temps rouler!
Miller Lite is the Only ( Light ) beer I will drink but my favorite Miller beer is Miller Genuine Draft ( MGD ) it's been hard to find sometimes through out the years however the past year or two I've seen it popping up in gas stations that never had it & even at Walmart . I shared a few with a friend from work one afternoon & he enjoyed it so well he quit drinking Coors Light & MGD is all he's been buying. That was like 6 months ago.
Well I just had a session with Miller Lite. Healthier then Miller High Life and better tasting then Yuengling Flight. My go to was Yuengling Traditional Lager, I'm Pennsylvanian. Hashtag, perplexed...
I just tried this again recently. I was drinking Natural Light, but the store ran out. I went with this, and was surprised by how medium bodied it is as a light beer. I'm going to stick with Miller Lite, now, but I still gotta try Hamm's Special Light. Great video, cheers!
This is what I don’t like about new craft beers. They don’t have the rich history of the old ones. I like just listening to the stories in these older videos. Something not seen in the new craft beer reviews.
I used to be a big Miller lite drinker but I happened to try Busch light awhile back. In my mind Busch light is a better beer and price point also beats Miller by a mile if I'm drinking a light macro it's always Busch light
Wish you could buy it over here. The only light beer you can get here is Coors which is too light in flavour for me. Always been a fan of Miller.....love High life and MGD.

How many beers are entered in this competition? I've not had many light beers, but just amongst those I have tried, this one falls way behind something like Sam Adams Light, which is actually a pretty good beer. Do they take price into consideration at these competitions? Because if so, Miller Light would certainly earn a nod in that category.
No, price isn't considered. Well, it also depends on who chooses to enter their beers in the contest. If you look at the WBC website, they have good info. about their event.
@@ronaldtheriot i'm not a huge stella fan (not a hater either but a million better Euro options out there) - but Stella for the win on the options you were given is a total "captain obvious"!!!!! And i do think ML is good in it's class - and Stella only fair - but Stella easy winner here!

Well, thanks for watching, Richard Worrell. I appreciate it! Well, I don't really have a "go-to" beer, because, I am always jumping from brand to brand. But, Miller High Life & Milwaukee's Best Light would be two good choices. The 6% Steel Reserve, too.
Hey Ron, you should start doing a Louisiana Vienna Sausage Reviews. Just joking, another fine educational video. I know we said this many times, but It's so pathetic It's laughable, how a beer wins gold medals and gets a 0 out of 100! ha ha.
Right. Well, they're fun to do, especially, as they aren't exactly serious subject matter. Mostly, just a droll topic. Thanks for watching, Richard Forrest. I appreciate it!
While I agree this beer is not "bad" for what it is, you make all the points in this video why I'll never buy it. $10 for a 12pk is that limbo area for me. If I am in the mood for an American adjunct lager I will go cheaper and grab Milwaukee's Best Light or Natural Ice for ~$7 per 12pk. If I want something with more intense and flavorful I will pay a little more and grab Sierra Nevada Torpedo or Founders Centennial for ~$14 per 12pk.
i dont like light beers. Drink them once in a blue moon. Out of all the light beers i would most likely avoid the coors light. Taste like alka seltzer to me. My pops loves the stuff.
Well, I suppose they prefer its lighter body, and it probably seems like a more respectable beer. But, I drink the High Life, because of the heavier body. To each his own, I guess.
+Ronald Theriot I prefer Bud Light over Miller Lite. but I don't drink light beer. just think its a waste of money buying Light beer when you can actually buy a good tasting beer like the high life.
+Ronald Theriot I prefer the taste of miller lite, and oddly enough I prefer beast light over the regular Beast. that's pretty much the only instances where I prefer the lights.... Busch light too.
Love Miller Light

Of course High Life Light isn't some great & wonderful thing, but it's a better choice, in that realm.
Would you ever consider doing a Miller Lite duo review with the big bearded dude? Always enjoy those versions. You guys do a great job. Thanks.

When you gonna represent Detroit, Ron? :-)
Yes, and I don't know why it gets slammed, which, to me, is unfair. Detroit? Oh, that's coming, Eric.
