I never thought about it, but those woodward foam pit/resi pad kids are absoutely perfect for vert contests, all they have to do is just huck tricks while going back and forth and not have to think about being stylish in a bowl for the judges or worry about what lines to take through a course or whatever, not that im saying its a bad thing but it just fits.

I told them about it numerous times. Work your magic and get him on here! I always felt he doesn't get any recognition what-so-ever. I thought he did some really cool stuff back in the day.
I'm 45 and we got the cane at school in Australia in the 80's round 89' I think they stopped this was state school to haha, anywho top show lads keep up the stoke .....
You should definitely get on Scotty Cranmer! His recovery story is so inspirational and I feel like there would be a lot of mutual respect and understanding. Love the pod so much it's seriously the highlight of each week!

this is what people don't get about skateboarding. it's a cult of injury.... you don't get hooked until the first time you really hurt yourself, because the rush is all about avoiding consequences... I broke my femur skating vert at 48... was out doing tree work with chainsaws six weeks later, messing myself up... its just a mindset...
Vert absolutely craps on park if there wasn't very I absolutely would not have watched .. For non street events I say Bowl/pool like combi or Bondi are best then vert then "park it's just to slow
