I had quite severe adrenal fatigue symptoms starting 8 years ago, with daytime fatigue, salt cravings, brain fog, jitteriness, nervousness, "tired and wired," inability to concentrate, short term memory problems, hypoglycemia, heart palpitations, sleep issues, feeling overwhelmed, noise sensitivity and great need for rest. With very low sugar, mostly organic vegan diet but occasional eggs and fish, and with supplements (DHEA, probiotic, enzymes, magnesium, zinc, B12, iron, calcium, tyrosine, choline, ashwagandha, rhodiola, progesterone), and exercise, my symptoms have improved a lot over the years.
I found this doctor today -- 7-31-2024, and as a sensitive empath, he is hitting hard with truth. I can feel this Dr cares. This is not your typical Dr folks…he is real.
I really appreciate how you described what some of the symptoms are such as you did with insomnia. You helped me have a better understanding. I thought I was just a night person. About 8pm I wake up and want to start cleaning and getting things done, but during the daytime hours I can barely get anything done. I have gained about 60lbs in only my belly, butt, and thighs. I have been keeping a log of what I eat and quantity. My thighs have become super sized and they are heavy. I appreciate how you explained where the weight gain is. I definitely identified with it. I never considered myself to have adrenal fatigue however it seems I do have several of the symptoms.

Yes, we would recommend a professional medical evaluation of your adrenal function as well as hormone levels.
