Old Illustrator user, looking at Corel for purchase since Adobe has abandoned that avenue with anything other than Photoshop and Premiere (Elements). Why Illustrator was left out I have no clue. Vector graphics ain't new, and if I were to guess... vector predates pixel. Gotta be a reason explaining the rent. So! I'm just starting out with Corel. Right off the bat, the mic is ear-piercing (volume does help with that on my end but treble is through the roof). Also, your cursor is gone from the vid. It's very hard to follow what your saying and where you're going until a sub-menu pops up. Just an intro critique. I'll tag along. And thank you for the vid, I do have the benefit of understanding the program coming in fresh. :)
I am facing some problems in coreldraw, recently using macbook M1. whenever I open cdr. file in windows the font getting miss match. The same fonts are installed in macbook pro m1 and windows also. If you know the reason behind this, please let me know that would be grateful for me.
Hi the best way I found is to copy the font from the pc folder to the Mac, if that doesn’t work you will have to locate the font and select it as the new alternative when you open the document. Let me know how you got on Ady
Ady, tried to send a message on your web site contact page but would not send. Would be grateful to know which version, standard or the Graphics suite you would recommend and where best to purchase CD in the UK.
