If the car doesn't sound like the car, then its not the better sound. The optimal sound is the sound that actually exists, not an exaggerated raspy version, like they did with the R35.
Godzilla I get what your saying but I've heard R35's at car meets and driving around and they just aren't loud enough and sound a little dull. while it might not be the real sound in game to me I prefer the noise in game as it has the sound I'd really like to hear from one irl. unless you have a custom exhaust which does improve the sound massively
