In a video game. It is faster than a GT-R in real life.
For example, the Lamborghini Aventador manages a 2.9 second 0-100, but in Forza it doesn't.
Well, you must understand that the official times are after hundreds of test runs.... so even if forza is accurate, it would take a lot of time to achieve the official times
Actually, the main focus was the GT-R and the Tesla P100d... The Aventador was used as an example. I've seen plenty of videos where the GT-R gets "smoked" by the P100d in a drag race.

you did an awesome job and loved the video. crazy jump from the la ferrari at 3 secs, to the gtr at 2.5. I was just wondering if using the fo-launch control(turn off traction, use manual with clutch hold the brake and gas it'll hold the Revs at around 2k rpm the drop the brake and go) I wonder if that would have been more consistent? since some cars were redlining and such. but then again you were trying to get the best times no matter what. so idk but awesome video dude great job!

but in real life Bugatti Veyron SS does a time of 2.2s 0-100km/h and the 918 is 2.4s, but... nice video and dedication for your channel!

the BAC mono has a 0-60 mph time of 1.6 seconds, but thats it when its fully upgraded
Doing this this with upgraded cars would be quite interesting.

Out of curiosity do you really need to bang off the Rev limiter and launch to get a better time? Usually I do about 4,500rpm launch to minimize wheel spin
Different for each car, thats why I did 20 runs each 0:05
The Racing Monkey Gotcha, just wasn't sure if doing that was the best option. I just know the Koenigsegg One:1 with no assists is a fucking pain to launch.

Porsche 918 Spider is my favorite and only car I use just for that purpose. 0-100 in 2.04 seconds. Talk about fast.
