I am just discovering these videos today after finding your podcast about an hour ago. They are all so wonderful! I took 4 years of Russian so some of these are obvious but it is so relaxing to listen to the patient, phonetically accurate explanations. And there is usually something new to learn even in the most introductory lessons thanks to your insights into native usage, idioms, etc.
A very nice & useful lesson! I liked it, I could know more phrases for conveying apolozize! Excellent! Your videos are very useful and easy to understand! Many congratulations!

For me you are the best russian teacher in youtube.....Thank you so much for your videos and the way you teach us russian languague)) I wish you can do videos about conjugation of verbs later .. marrychristmas..and happy new year^^
Hi Daria. I like your videos very much. Just thought to mention that 'my bad' in English is slang. It would never be used in a serious professional situation for example.
Ive heard characters in Russian tv novellas use 'сорри' and I replayed conversation to make sure Id heard it. Other things too, like 'oh my god,' and 'my god.' Those were on homemade videos i think, but sorry was in a wwii mini-series!

Здравствуйте Дарья! Я учу Английский язык, но к сожалению в нашем городе очень трудно найти носителя. Вот я решил зайти с другой стороны, один мой друг из США показал Ваше видео. Не могли бы Вы мне помочь с практикой. Может есть люди которые хотят больше практиковать Русский по Skype or Whatsapp. Разговорный разумеется. Спасибо.
How do you say "excuse me" ? In the sense that you may have interrupted a conversation or you're in a tight spot in the grocery aisle or need to get someone's attention do you have a video for that?
We have an another one form of apologize: *Сорян.* [Soryan] Obviously, it's derivative from your "sorry", plus ending -ян which in this case make the word a lot more unformal and colloquial. You can use it only in communication with your friends.
очень жаль is okay, but we usually say мне очень жаль with мне. without мне it has different meaning. очень жаль without мне is used when you want to express your empathy with something other person has experienced, or if you want to say something like "it's very bad situation".
"Сорри" is only English, so I won't never say that, sorry. I (and even friends) used to say "sorry" when in school, and my mother tongue is Spanish. Грасиас за видео.
Very good videos. I'm a little bit older person. Trying to learn Russian. Have no one to practice with. I live in America. Grandmother immigrated from Ukraine. Mom usually spoke Russian with her when we visited her. I speak very little Russian and understand almost none. I usually do not text people like this. Very awkward. Thanks for patience. Keep teaching. Have great life. Sorry so long.
I personally belong to the group of native Russian speakers who can't stand American influence to Russian language.

I was watching 'Bald and Bankrupt' and he mentioned don't worry about the grammar when first learning Russian. Learn alphabet and phrases, etc.

Hi Daria. I like your videos very much. Just thought to mention that 'my bad' in English is slang. It would never be used in a serious professional situation for example.

'My bad' is from America and a 'young persons' slang.

Thank you so much for your excellent video lessons !

Great Video, Daria. Excellent !!!
hello! At 3:48 isn't it also опоздала only if I am a woman? And опоздал for a man? thank you, I really like your videos.
Very good
yep, I heard СОРРИ a lot:)

4:47 __dupstep song 😹 🎹🎤
nice, very useful, thank you!
Молодец
У вас очень хорошее произношение, вы русская?
Когда я был с моей племянницей и ее подружками в Польше прошлым летом, они часто использовали "corrи". Я был удивлен!
good
Thank you very much it's very helpful, but i want to know if we can use the other words to call someone or we can only use Извините ?
no, we can other words
How do you say "excuse me" ? In the sense that you may have interrupted a conversation or you're in a tight spot in the grocery aisle or need to get someone's attention do you have a video for that?
извините or простите
what about pozhalusta?
2:28 there´s something missing in the russian sentence ;)
you mean "пожалуйста"? or "мне":)
I meant "мне". I hope you see this as constructive criticism and not as nagging :D
thank you:) But I didn't put it there on purpose. You can say "Извините, не могли бы Вы помочь" without "мне"
the best.
Privet daria
nice
To receive an apology from a russian is as likely as to hear a vampire praising garlic😄😄😄
1. Прошу прощения
2. Простите
Second one 3:11 is almost like " Prostitute " 😄😄😂
Izzi nite Daria
When do I use ты and when do I use вы ?
So you missed меня in your text. Is that because the text says can you help?
Хорошо спасибо! Your videos are very helpful and fun 🤗💕
thank you:)
Здравствуйте !-------как твой дела
"Как дела?" правильно говорить, это неофициально
Informal
If I am a girl, I have to say виноватA not виноват, right? or say виноватA to a girl I talk to.
right:)
Spasibo Thank you very much
Subtitle is needed when you make sentences
Who the hell is that one person who is disliking this video 🤔🤔
haha there are many people who dislike:)
The "haters" :-(

Извини!
Прошу прощения

"I heard it like everyday when I was younger" ? Извините меня. Вы не выглядите так стара.
В разговорной речи есть производное из английского языка - сорян.
I need to apologize to my mother in law, wish me luck, you guys 😭👌
César Pedraza how’d it go? Как эта прошло?
Не чего страшного
Нет проблем
Не тресись
Привет гуру зи
I would strongly recommend NOT to use Сорри if you dont want to look like a man with critically low IQ. Its more jokingly form used among 15 years old
that's what I said in the video)
When are you going to invite me over ;-)
А я еще иногда "пардон" говорю.
я тоже
