Video is hands-down the best when I’ve seen I learned so much thank you so much!
You're very thorough and easy to follow! I appreciate your videos!
Thank you! I’m very glad you find them helpful!
Excellent ! You have to be the go to person on you tube to learn about candle making. TY sooo much.
Wow, thank you!
New to candle making. This was a great help! Thank you. On to your next video 😊
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much
You're so welcome!
I loved this, thank you Sarah
You're so welcome!
Nice explain ❤
When you have the two different waxes and they each have to be a different level of heat, do you go by the lowest, or the highest for the wax to be ready to pour?
Great tutorial, btw.
First time on here. ❤
I would suggest something in the middle, but you can always try out both and label them each which temp you went to 👍
Thank you Sarah. Insightful! Would sanitizer work in place of alcohol?
I've been looking at candle making, in recent days, since I got Jesmonite about a month ago I came to the realisation of instead of just making candle holders with jesmonite I can also make candles directly into the holders etc, I'm considering doing soap too for soap holders I'm considering making too...
That's so cool! I've never heard of Jesmonite but I am intrigued.
Another helpful video ~ thanks
Cool video tks! I work from home 90% of time and enjoy a fairly dark office. I burn a candle everyday all day while I'm working. I have a lot of left over wax from all the burnt out scented candles that I didn't through away... I want to melt the left over wax and make a new candle or 2 but don't have any proper wicks. Any suggestions of something else I could potentially use as a wick? Doesn't have to be perfect... just want to try making a candle or 2 before buying a kit. Tks.
Could you pour a bit more wax on top to fill in the holes?
Can you tell me what is the water for and how much
I have a 4 oz tins but when I calculate the wax and divide it with the 110% fragance, when I pour it its over the fill line anyway. What can I do to measure it only to the fill line? I do not want to waste wax. Hope you understand my question . Thank you.
Thank you. But how do you know which wick sizes to use? I went to candlescience and for my jar which is the same one you have but an 8oz, it suggested one wick, LX20. But the width of the jar is a little over three inches. thank you.
Very helpful! I was wondering if since 2022 do you still use the same wax warmer and when the wax gets low can you use the spout? Or how do you get the most wax out of it at the end? Excellent video. Many thanks.
I personally had to dump it out at the very end. The only times I needed to empty it completely was when I was testing waxes or changing waxes though so it didn’t end up being a big problem later on. 😊
Thank you!
Also what wick series is this? because you used two wicks for an 8 oz jar, I plan to use a 8 oz straight sided libbey jar. :) Do you suggest two wicks?
I use eco wicks 🤍
Awesome! Which wick did you use ? Thanks
Eco 1 wicks 🤍
@@EclipseBotanica thanks that’s what I use. For soy 464 and 444
@@jenyhomestuff good to know as I am just starting out and bought 464 wax
The wick numbers confuse me. What usually comes with the kits?
@@EclipseBotanica
At what point do you use the heat gun and poke the candle like that? At how many days is that?
I do it as soon as the candle has hardened, so the same day, sometimes the next day 🥰
Great video!! Thank you!
Do you have a class where you teacg your students
Like an online class
Because im interested
I don’t, but that’s an interesting idea 💡
Any good dyes you recommend for color?
I’ve never actually used color in my candles, sorry 😞
I learned how to push the majority bumps out of tins without hardly any dent to be noticed
Really? Just push it out with your fingers?
@@EclipseBotanica Sometimes that works but most times it takes pushing it out with the handle of small pliers like ones you used in the your video. I like to fix them if I can to keep cost low.
I’ve never tried this I will deffinetly have to, thanks for the tip!
@@EclipseBotanica you're welcome. When you are first starting any craft, it is expensive. So I just learn to ways to save money.
What is the size of your wick?
so what if I wanna make 5 of the 6oz tins what would my candle math be
