Thank you so much for everything. i mean it. best wishes to you from montreal.
manager "Hoppe"? that can't be a coincidence....
Awesome!!! Just Awesome!!!Thank you Sir!! 👍🏻
Earl the Pearl, my brother from another mother, I felt those tears regarding the sport of pool, while about a decade younger than you, I often say that pool is the best game of them all, in its myriad of iterations... If you fancy a trip to the East Coast, to visit and play with some 50-82 year old men at a small private club, (in existence for nearly a century, two newer diamond 4.25 pocket tables after our 70 year old 4.5 were finally retired)... I am about 6 years into teaching a guy some things, though good enough to know I suck, (he only plays 8 ball so far, I prefer 14.1 and 9) lol... the other group of gents tend to play a local game called around the world, {great game} the 1 respots and get potted in rotation around the table, other 14 are position balls, no rerack like in 14.1 when just down to the one ball...love and hugs out to you either way..."We don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing" -- GB Shaw et al...Keep creating...~~Just me, RD
This is great Earl! You're a true champion and ambassador for the sport we love! Thank you my friend.

Earl, you're one of the greatest players in the history of the game and I'm honored to know you!
Not many players can say they've been lucky enough to watch you play in your prime but I can and man was it one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed!
You're the only top pro I've ever seen win a tournament without missing a single open shot!
We used to call you the "Michael Jordan" of pool!
Keep it going and God bless you always buddy!
👍😊 🎱🙏
You were one hell of a player yourself MR Robles. The thing that makes you one of the coolest guys in pool is that you always have something nice to say.... like you just did. You are a class act.
What do you call Efren @tonyrobles?
@@samwerawtder1164 I consider Efren the best All-Around player as well as Nick Varner. Both those players played every game at an elite level!
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that Nick Varner is the only player to have a a World Championship in every discipline which is super strong! 👍😊 🎱
@@trudaroof Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it buddy! 👍😊 🎱
Earl the Squirrel becomes a Pearl... long live Earl Strickland.
Only you can get away with that Ron😂
He named himself earl the squirrel because it rhymed and probably had a lot of people laugh at him but not laugh at Earl the pearl the greatest that ever lived
Howdy Ron🤠
I'm watching The Pearl video now Uncle Ron, that jump on 7 and snatched it back, 🤢
@@billysikes1374 how’ed he hit it? 😁 these new school milk drinkers can’t carry earls chalk.
I don't often watch 19 minute TH-cam videos but when it's Earl Strickland, that's must see TV. What a player and legend.
The rivalry of Earl and Efren is legendary. Also the respect of both guys.
Say what you will about the man but noone is more passionate for pool than earl. Long live earl.
unmatched passion for this great sport...watched Earl give an exhibition in Spokane, bar table full rack rotation- as he was completing the first rack a group of people entered the pool room to watch but they were a little late...Earl said I'll do it again for the people that just got here- broke a second rack & ran it out, in rotation...watched another exibition he gave later that day in another pool room on a nine footer where he ran full racks in rotation...absolutely amazing, very cool guy as well
I used to record all the matches on ESPN with Earl, Efren, Tony Ellin, Buddy Hall etc, and watch over and over on vhs. Learned so much watching earls cueball!! Thank you!
Mr. Strickland is the greatest player EVER. Professionals today owe their game to him.
We are blessed to live you in your time, to know you, to witness you. It was an absolute honour to spend time with you when you came to the UK, a time I will never forget, I remember it like it was yesterday. Long live The Pearl

Pool would have been a different game if Earl never showed up. Thank God he did. ❤ I’ve been watching him for 25 years and he still inspires me to get back to the table.
I really enjoy watching him play online and this video showed some great insights into him, personally. This was awesome.

A hardworking fiery competitor and an engaging entertainer. Helluva career.
I love this dudes pool game and passion. Earl and Efren are my 2 favorite players. Their matches are unforgettable.
I like how Earl always says nice things about Efren. The greatest champions have to have the greatest opponents, and I think they both needed the rivalry, one of the greatest in all sports.

Undeniably one of the greatest pool player of all time
Earl, you are one of the best players in the history of pool! That for granted. But you are truly a lover of the game. I think there is no one else so dedicated and passionate about playing pool as you are. You take this sport or game as something else... Me being just an average pool player, I always say to my family and friends, in my next life I will be a professional pool player, I will be the next Pearl! Congrats my pool friends!
What a great video for all fans and pool players, I loved it!
Thanks for putting this together and showing it. 👍👍
I never watched pool tournaments, even though I played for years, just Bar shooting, nothing serious. But like a lot of old guys, I discovered TH-cam very late, and my first impression of Mr Strickland was a video of him getting annoyed, etc. So I didnt really like him. Since then I've completely changed my mind, Earl Strickland is an American treasure! A great player, and just a dynamic, charismatic guy. This video just affirms that. Thanks!
Tiger Woods is the Earl Strickland of golf. Earl is a legend.
The two most naturally gifted players I’ve ever seen….Earl Strickland and Larry Nevel
Incredible
Such an amazing video. Thanks Earl you are and will always be the best/greatest pool player
To be blunt, it took awhile to enjoy how earl got emotional. Years in fact. He's a good guy to hang with.
Thanks for this video ! Best thing I like about Earl, his passion for thr game.
I do care about how he goes over the limit from time to time, but this video shows a different side of Earl. It's more than just the madness and anger. It's passion, deep routed passion. Thats what I wanna see. Always 2 sides of a story.
Pocketing moving balls is an incredible thing to accomplished...and he did it one after another as if he was a targeting CNC machine.
Simply put he is the greatest natural talent in any sport, long live the pearl!
We love you Earl wherever you are in the world you truly are the ultimate best American pool player
Love you , Man! I love your early years video, Playing Pool My Way.

Love your passion, love, heart and contributions you put in this Sports for all those years even till this day may God keep blessing you and shower you with his mercy Amen. See you again soon Earl!
Truly my hero. Thank you sir.
Outstanding. My favorite player by far.
Earl Strickland talks about himself the exact way one would expect Earl Strickland to talk about himself. It's a uniquely American level of self importance. To the point that an American would probably take this as a compliment.
Shut up! It's confidence!
I slowed it down and the red does appear to go in first on the photofinish. Awesome shots as always.
I truly love you Earl to indeed the description of passion
The Pool World is blessed to have Earl.
I'll always be rooting for Earl.
I learned something today. Earl is human and an awesome one at that. I thought he was made out of fkesh, bones, blood and anger. But see he's actually made out of heart and love. What a great guy
That skeet shooting was next level!
Earl is the best!

one of the greats in pool. talent and practice, from money games to competition pool life. the games against Effin where great.
A Living Legend... Like Earl I Love This Game.
GENIUS!! NATIONAL TREASURE!!
It’s hard for everyone who wasn’t alive to fully understand how good Earl was and is.
Man that Full table Jump draw was sick. Well played 🙌🏼👏🏼. I've done it once against Frankie Hernandez by accident in a tournament lol 😆
All the pool sponsors should get together and make a worldwide tournament that bears the name of the EARL STRICKLAND and that EARL is the one who sets the rules and conditions of said tournament.....I think there has not been or will be a pool player who loves this sport like EARL does
Earl is the GOAT of pool, I dont give two sh..it what others say about him. He is the GOAT, the biggest talent the pool world has seen and ever will see.
we love you earl
Earl is my idol for 22 years , he's the greatest 9 ball player ever, it blew my mind when i first heard what he did, running 11 racks to win that million dollars i just could never get my head around to be able to do that in a turnament knowing whats at stake when you're up to the 5th or 8th or 10th rack you gotta be crazy not to feel anything, i'm 100% nobody today not Filler, not kaci, fedor, shane, sanches, no one would even be close to do what he did. I got mad when heard the insurance company refused to pay.
Pool is a 'Great' game!
I love this game so much!
Good Health Earl , love your game .
Never saw Efren have a meltdown during a game even when under pressure, and that's what gave him the advantage, but i still respect Erle as one of the best of all time !
