It’s 2021...I’m reminiscing about some of the things of my childhood...trucks, trains, truck movies, Grizzly Adams shows, cartoons etc. I’m sharing those things with my boys, the things that really impacted my life and continue to bring me good thoughts and some that make me really question the values that were evident. Grizzly Adams seemed so genuine, considering Hollywood wasn’t quite truthful. That show was quite powerful and I’m thankful to have seen what little I saw. Blessings! The Porter dude of Ohio. 😎🇺🇸🥰
I am sorry for all your family and friends and animals. I didn't know you , but you always came across as a genuine, kind and compassionate man. Rest in peace Dan. X
RIP. A sweet soul was lost to this world when Dan passed on. We were blessed to have him here for a time and he won't be forgotten.
The kids following in Dad's footsteps with the animals. Wow. Great sight to see. RIP Dan. You will so be missed around the world; more than you will ever know. RIP you wonderful man and thanks for the great memories. Peace and Love to you forever. xx
Dan,you probably wont get this but when I was a teen, you saved me from troubled times ,and damn if I didnt grow up resembling you alot in my 30s -beard and all, people would stop me and say "hey did anyone ever tell you you look like the grizzly dude "lol--THANX FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE HELP

thank you for the wonderfull memories dan .rip .
Grizzly Adams was a great series well done Dan portraying it .
God Bless Dan Haggerty. I can not even begin to thank him for the priceless joy and happiness he gave to us young and old in the 70's along with Thom Pace, Light and the Hollywood of that time period.
Yes Dan would make a perfect Santa Claus. His eyes are exactly the same as the wonderful Santa in Rankin & Bass "Year without a Santa Claus" stop motion.
Ohhh how the 1970's were magical with infinite smiles!
RIP Dan Haggerty, you were awesome
RIP THANK YOU
SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING...!!!!
I love you Dan Haggerty R.I.P
growing up childhood watching him on the TV show wilder life in the mountain..
I feel for him and his family. He's always seemed like a very nice bloke & the unfortunate loss of his wife must have been very hard to deal with.
May she rest in peace.
Dan. The grizzly adams show / series were fantastic. Ben the Bear & yourself living in the picturesk woods at the Cabin by the river in harmony will never fade in memory! What a beautifull show it was! I hope to see it back on TV so all the next generation can see what we as kids grew up to see on tv! The theme song sung by Thom Pace is absolutely Fantastic, have never forgotten it! Its wonderfull to see that you are alive, fit & doing well. Is it possible to do a next generation GRIZZLY ADAMS!!!
I wish you weren't gone , you're an amazing phenomenal man ....thank you for your TV show which planted my future seeds in being a vegan for the animals first and then the environment.
I wish you were here with John Denver. Between the both of you with the animals and the environment ( philosophy and music ) you would really be the much needed earth angels in this world that's losing what you both brought .
💚💙💜💛💚💙💜💛

I was a huge fan of Grizzly Adams...I watched it as a kid, back when an innocent, good hearted show had a place on TV.
A rare actor/man that was actually a FATHER to his sons

he is like a gentle giant, in a few years I could imagine him being Santa Claus, then a few years after that becoming Moses. :)

What happened with "Mountain Man Christmas" that Dan mentions in this video? I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Did it ever get made?

What year is that video from?
Tried the website... too many loops and holes to get to his site.... go figure
@mhatsko Dan Haggerty HAS played Santa Claus in the 1989 film Elves. Best worst Christmas horror movie EVER! Lol!
Hi Dan. Your website didn't work guess it didn't work out. Hey I kinda had legal problems as you did back many years a ago. Mucked up how it follows you all your life even with a pardon! I guess the trick is not get caught the way they are... which is dishonest and they are the ones that should be in jail! Anyway watching G.A. Used to watch it in 74 i was 14. 55 now still watching! Wish I could have emailed and talked. Thanks bud. Hope you are well.
+David Teer welp hes dead.
ok tried dan haggerty.com and got no where--is there a alt link?
It's a shame CBS shut this down, not Liber enough?
Im looking to contact Mr.Haggerty to see if he would be interested in doing a internet radio show, Plz contact me,Thx
huh? was he selling something? or trying to make friends? or what?
No, he was hugely popular as Grizzy Adams in the movie in 1974 and the two season series NBC put out in the late 70s. He had a ranch in Malibu (way back in the day when he was a stuntman) and kept a bunch of animals he'd saved there. He did a lot of stuff in his career, including helping to build the motorcycles for the movie Easy Rider. Point is, he knew pretty much everybody and through the years, people would contact him about animals and other things, so I think he must've put this out because of that. He died in 2016, so this had to have been produced in like the late 90s. I never met him, but he seemed like a cool legit dude. Too bad he died.
no offence he seems as kind as oats, but i would be terrified in his presence. he's very grizzly to say the least. good lookin chap just intimidating lol
