For reasons too boring to get into, I had to put this compilation together a long time ago, before I even set up my Patreon, so I’ll have to give a shoutout to my Patrons here instead of in the video. A big thank you to: YatInExile, Michael B., Elliot Toman, Paralynx, Heather D.! And also a reminder that you can support this channel through Patreon for more unique future content!
16 Famous Deaths Of The 1920s 1846pm 8.12.24 like yer channel. but couldn't you have partitioned these skits into easily digestible presentations... it is a macabre subject and overbearing misery is not what i am aiming for or seeking...
The death of his son deeply affected Coolidge and people who knew him said he never fully recovered from the loss. Mental health was poorly understood back then, but he probably suffered from a form of moderate to severe depression for the rest of his life.
Excellent research. Excellent production values. Lousy script writing. Abysmal writing. When speaking of Houdini’s demise :…that some random guy whaled on him…” “The critics were critical,” reporting on Linder (or Valentino, does it matter?)There are so many atrocious examples one could spend half an evening reciting the litany.

Coolidge was also smart enough to realize a classic asset bubble was blossoming. He wisely got out less than a year before it burst.

Were linen or cotton suits popular, why were the Coolidge boys wearing wool in the summer?
Wool was still the preferred choice of material.
I am glad Max' Linder"s daughter lived until her 90s.
