5. Find Affordable Ways to Boost Health & Wellbeing So happy to see this on the list! I think taking care of your health is very important as its the root of everything else you do. I think volunteering in your local community is SO important here. I feed the food insecure every Saturday which not only pours into the community but also pours into my soul. Also, working out is the best. I love running.
Yes! Definitely! I love how you have a lot of health and fitness content, which is so great. And totally agree about giving back. I guess another way to put it is it’s feeding the soul 😊
4. Side Hustles as a Supplement Good advice here. There's a lot of things people can do on the side that will make them income. I think the key here is making sure that whatever side hustle you do isn't super draining or stressful.
3. Rent-Vesting This is very smart albeit somewhat controversial position to take. At least here in the US, there is a movement to prevent out of towners from owning real estate. I get where the frustration comes from, but the anger is misdirected. My partner and I have a handful of properties in Columbus. The issue are companies like Black Rock who buy hundreds of properties and cause prices to spike in areas making them unaffordable for residents. Suffice to say, residents shouldn't worry about individuals like you and I owning property out of town. They need to worry about the giant corporations. Anyway, I've been sidetracked. This is excellent advice.
6. Be Frugal, not Cheap This is an important distinction that people don't often think about. It connects a little bit with the previous tip about making sure you have good mental health. People that are constantly being cheap are often not indulging in good mental health behaviors. It's stressful being cheap.
2. Spend Money on Things that Are Actually Important I faulter here. lol I don't often purchase big ticket luxury items, but it's the smaller things that really get me caught up financially. Too many matcha lattes out in the city. I need to dial my budget in more!
Hi Fern!!!.wow the view from your apartment is amazing!! 😍 I love this video, great view in life, and great advice. I need to be in the FIRE movement, but first, I need to stop spending too much and learn self-control when it comes to shopping. I love spending most of my money on fashion, beauty, and bags 😅 Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed this. Have a great week ahead, Fern 😘❤️🫶
Thanks for watching Jojo! ☺️✨ Haha I do love this view a lot ❤️ Glad you loved the video and the advice 😄 I totally get that! Fashion is something I love so much and it’s hard to sometimes step back. Glad you enjoyed this. You have a great week ahead too ❤️☺️💫

Totally! I’ve done a few side hustles and I’ve enjoyed a lot of them. You’re so right. Do it but as long as it’s enjoyable ☺️

Oh totally! It’s definitely a balance. Smaller things can add up still. Good to find that balance of saving and also finding the things you enjoy ☺️
