Blackreach always gave me an overwhelming sense of oppression, bethesda did a good job on making it feel like an uninviting place. Ive always just got wherever i came for and split, never somewhere i wanted to stay vs the open sky(rim).
It was always beautiful to me, no doubt about that. Yet it made me paranoid, making me look over my shoulder far too often. Even after I know I have cleared the entire dungeon, I still feel on edge as I explore it fully. It's a great juxtaposition as I'm in awe from any particular sight, only to suddenly remember my own fear.
Luke Weller crossbows are pretty good they shoot quick easy to aim and stagger enemies when bashed and when hit hit arrows. the down side is the reload time. Although not terrible its just not the best
The Blackreach was visually stunning, and I loved it when I first saw it. That said, I want to find the guy who thought up the Falmer and Chaurus and punch him. Those things are overpowered and incredibly annoying.
I feel like the dragons soul is trapped in the orb and the dwemer used the power of its soul to heat and give light to the city. They would have the means to do this as well considering that they can read elder scrolls and the scroll found in blackreach is the dragon elder scroll. The color of light that the orb gives off is also the same color a dragons soul gives off when you kill it. the more i think about this the more i think it was some kind of device to stow dragon souls.
That's actually a good theory; what better way to gain light and heat than from the soul of an elder dragon? I think that the dragons with names are all either elder or legendary dragons; or rather, supposed to be anyway. Even though the first dragon you fight (after meeting Delphine) is a total pansy. Then again, by the time I've gotten around to fighting said dragon; I've wandered the entirety of Skyrim and have reached level 20 or 30. Don't know why, but each time I restart Elder Scrolls; I end up wandering Skyrim until I've leveled up to at least level 15 before even reaching Whiterun for the first time.
No, I see where your coming from, but there are a few things that don’t line up. What the orb does I do not know, but the dragon came from the distance, not out of the orb. I would guess the dragon was attracted by the loud clank sound made when you shout at the orb.
Or, it was a dragon that took a mountain from a group of dwarves, then, when the dwarves came back to stop him, he decided to destroy a nearby town for no good reason. Then he was shot by a man in this town, and nearly killed, but when the Dragonborn shouts at the big orb, for some odd reason, it pulls him through time and space to a different reality, and appears in blackreach
Regarding the giant, the Dwemer could talk to the giants. It's how the Dwemer got labeled dwarves. The ancient Nords saw the Dwemer talking with them and said they looked like dwarves talking to the giants and the name stuck. So the Dwemer either knew how to communicate with them either language or maybe psychic communication or maybe sign language.
Just a theory of mine, I think the Falmer fisherman you mentioned is a reference to Gollum from The Hobbit, when he is first encountered by Bilbo. In the book, Gollum lived alone deep under the Misty Mountains on an island in a dark, cold lake. He would mainly eat the black fish that spawned in the lake, but he would occasionally kill and eat goblins who dared to stray into his territory. I think the second hut is a nod to Gollum's life as Smeagol as well. In his "hobbit" life, Smeagol was fishing with his best friend and cousin Deagol, and it was Deagol that found the one ring in the river. Smeagol killed Deagol to gain the One Ring for "his birthday", and thus began his downward spiral into the creature known as Gollum. I think the other hut is supposed to be a nod to Deagol.

At 31:37 talking about the "Arena", what if it wasn't for death sports, but executions? That would explain the spinning blade, the lever, the bloodstain, the benches, and the high table at the top. Just a thought that the Dwemer may have used the area to execute anyone who tried to steal or commit crimes in Blackreach
The dwarven ballista aimed at Sinderions workshop actually buggered a save file cause I activated it but nothing happened until I entered and left the house, at which point the ballista triggered and killed me everytime I tried to leave
22:05 *Developer accidentally puts a nordic arch in Blackreach because "it looks cool"* *Hypernerds find said arch and determine it to be lore and not mistake* Developer: "yea... that totally has to be a mystery. Musta fallen from a nordic ruin or been brought there by the dwarves... weird that."
Personally. I think one of the Dwarves down there considered themselves to be a bit of an archeologist. By the time Blackreach was at its height, the Nords would have already been in Skyrim for over 1000 years. So its quite possible one of the Dwemer had a whole collection of Atmoran settlement artefacts and this stone pillar was just part of their collection, displayed proudly outside their exhibit.
I only recently noticed that Dwarven spheres when in sphere mode don't tuck their face down into a ball like I thought they did, instead they slot perfectly at the front of the sphere facing forward and can still see, even when retracted as a ball I always thought those things were blind when dormant like that, and sensing activity around them using electricity But no, their faces and eyes are right there at the front, and simply lift higher when they transform to "stand"

I loved return to your roots!!!! Probably one of my favorite quests since I love blackreach and it's environment- it was really fun to search and speculate on what might have gone on there. It was really fun and like a more low-key version of no stone unturned since it was a real challenge

Props camel; I only come down here for 3 reasons: 1. The main quest 2. The dragon in the chandelier 3. When the dungeon i'm in opens up into Blackreach AGAIN and i'm stuck figuring out how the hell to leave
Everyone keeps calling the structure at 32:30 an arena. To me, those stone pillars look like someone could've been chained there by the rings, it looks MUCH more like a place for executions instead as it looks way too small to fight in and there's only one central bloodstain. EDIT: Who knows? It could've maybe been used for executing prisoners of war during the Aetherium Wars, if they did that. It could've been possibly used for interrogation as well. This theory seems to be brought out with the War Quarters right next to it, the interrogation site right next to where the soldiers are stationed. It makes sense in my opinion.
I've always thought the exact same thing. A prisoner would be tied/chained in the center from the four posts, then the blades activated. The seats were for the witnesses to the execution.
Theory on the Nordic pillars: Giants could have originated from atmora, so it's possible that the giant in blackreach carved atmoran symbols into the pillars
Well, the dwemer in skyrim did get invaded and occupied after the aetherium wars by the nords for a time. Perhaps the pillar is what little remains of this ancient nordic conquest?
Me: "I haven't seen anything from Camel for a couple weeks now - I wonder what's going on?" 85 min CCC video drops. Me: "Ah yeah!" Great work as always, Camel.
the Dwemer had an alliance with a race of intelligent giants (who called the dwemer “Dwarves” even tho they were elves of normal height) the giant you find in blackreach May be a descendent of them... or at least is a nod to them..... just my thought.
@@taquitoburrito6335 They did leave Nirn/Mundus, according to legend they built airships that allowed them to fly to Masser and Secunda--the moons of Mundus.
Was I the only one who went in with almost zero health potions, so when they got up to the blackreach part of the quest, just ran around all the enemies? Took me like 2 minutes, whilst everything before it took about 3 hours. Never returned there
That thing under water that intakes the water is a Dwemer water purifier just a theory but it makes a lot of sense I think being that Blackreach has a lot of mushrooms and spores everywhere the Dwemer probably didn't want to go blind like the Falmer so they had to purify the water to make it drinkable
Can I just point out they _made_ the Falmer blind? They offered them protection from the invading Nords from Atmora then betrayed them, tortured them and basically made them unwilling slaves. Of course they don't want to go blind like the Falmer, because they don't want to be tortured by other Dwemer
33:15 - Remember about dwemer torture chamber when you do thief guild quest for falmer eye (Irkngthand)? Karliah say something like "Dwemer was very cruel race".
Yeah, they seemed to enslave and torture other races. My guess this pit might serve for fights like a giant vs a snow elf or a captured human fighting some beast.
They systematically enslaved and mutilated the snow elves. They also were total fedora tippers that believed themselves above the gods and daedra. From that we can probably guess they weren’t too kind towards races they views as beneath them.
@@IRUNASSULT Yeah, the Dwemer were assholes. Besides Skyrim's, who are by far the worst because of what they did to the Falmer, Morrowind's are pretty bad too. Their interactions with the Chimer leading up to the battle of red mountain prove that more than anything. Plus, they were stupid enough to screw around with the Heart of Lorkhan, which means they are to blame for wiping out their entire race. (Save for one, obviously)
The pipes and water pumps were explained by Neloth. He said that most dwemer city can be flooded to prevent invaders from taking the research and using their cities.
The reason we didn't think this vid would be long because when your down there you are always on edge because it's dark and you don't know what's going to jump out on you so your not really looking to sight see or remember just to counter and survive but they put a lot of work into this.... This game is amazing.
Alton Rodgers These underground areas don the most boring scenery to me. I actually find most of the dwarven areas boring except for the one with the ghost woman. I dig the forgotten vale and midland grasses of Skyrim.
Jesus Pabon it’s seriously a shame, but at the same time that’s more zenimax influencing Bethesda. Not only that, but fallout 76 was an experiment they’re made it clear many times. They’ll still come through with quality when it comes to ESVI don’t stress
The blue stones aren‘t consisting of Aetherium in my opinion. There are veins scattered around Black Reach named Geodene veins that are glowing in a smooth blue tone. If you do mine them, you‘ll either get soul gems, or you‘ll get corundum ore. There are also a few veins that are black instead of blue which will contain black soul gems. So I think that these blue stones are consisting of this Geodene. Maybe Aetherium is just concentrated Geodene?
Trusek geode isn’t a material itself it’s were volcanic/or non volcanic crystals buildup, so I think it’s raw atherium. Plus why would they have atherium mining operations?
@@cromabu5090 True but also you can find minerals and ores together sometimes. It's not like they wouldn't benefit from mining up different ores such as soul stones since it powers up most mechanical drones and such.
My personal theory on The Arena is that it wasn't used for fights at all... but for executions. The four posts on the outside made me think that the victim would be tied up and then cut to bits by the trap, all whilst being viewed by the surrounding crowd. Pretty nasty stuff, I know, but it just didn't look like an arena to me.
You're correct I believe - number of reasons it doesn't work well as an arena instead of for executions/torture, like it being where it is AND elevated not making sense unless the (ahem) participants were chained. You wall of the surrounding area to limit needless viewing, there are limited seats rather than a stadium, the blade being in the center instead of the sides. Nothing concrete but thinking archaeogically it'd make more sense & suits their culture far more than is suggested here
I never noticed it until my nth time sneaking around a dwarven ruin, but if you look at the floor and notice the texture in some places, they'd look like the ash piles that form after a 'raise zombie' spell runs out its time limit. At first I was like, "meh, must be rubble from the ceiling" but then, at the occulory in blackreach, where there were piles "rubble" textures right where these tables and chairs were, I had a chilling thought that they're actually the ashes of the dwemer that disappeared.
That would mean there also have to be tons of ash piles in morrowind, and the dunmer would've noticed. They were at war with each other at the time of disappearance. There are accounts that they suddenly vanished without explanation, if they all left ash piles the dunmer surely would've archived that they simply burned.
Fun fact, all the dwemer spheres and centurions shot arrows before the Dawnguard DLC released. So in the base vanilla Skyrim, even though it's implied they should be shooting bolts, their remains would spawn with arrows instead. I remember thinking they should have been using bolts as ammo a few days post 11/11/11, but that wasn't a thing until Dawnguard dropped.
Given it's make shift nature, the wood bridge is most likely made from disassembled crates that Sinderion or other explorers lowered down to the depths laden with goods and supplies.
Blackreach resparked my interest in Skyrim when I was dragging myseld through the motions back then. It was like rediscovering the game all over again. I did everything I could to dig through its secrets.
Something interesting with the giant in Blackreach is that he is always hostile unlike giants on the surface which are only hostile if you enter their camps or attack their mammoths etc meaning that the giant in Blackreach is guarding the whole area. Maybe the Dwemer security was more giant than we thought :^)
I listened to those two you mentioned during long lonely nights back in college. And Nate also, back when he still made Skyrim videos. Even 6 years later, I still do.
Hey Camel, I always thought the "arena" was a public execution area and courtroom combo. Chain the accused up in the center of the 4 pillars, have a trial, and then summarily execute them right then and there were they found guilty. EDIT: I think I should clarify why I think this. Imagine you're one of the dwarven kings(?) and the Aetherium war is heating up. You wouldn't want any insurrections within your own faction and you'd need a place to kill your prisoners of war. Plus there is blood only in the center, indicating that is where people were getting sliced up. Also, for the book, I think an adventurer got a bit too curious for their own good. Setting down their stuff, going to flick a lever, then getting themselves killed. The Falmer came later to drag them away, but left the book because they can't read.
That would make sense because of the Debate hall they would use the debate hall to hold trials then they would go to the public execution spot and determine Guilty or Innocent
1:11:26 - Probably to keep the mines from flooding due to seasonal glacial melt. This is a challenge IRL mines have in the mountains where snow falls in winter then melts in summer resulting in excess river water runoff
That was awesome. I have a theory that all dwemer ruins aren’t cities: they’re just facilities. I have a feeling that Blackreach is a city, and all the ruins leading to it are just specialized buildings.
I think this place would have been great for some unique loot and many more secrets and storys ro discover. This place is so awesome, yet is so boring gameplay whise. I mean there is really nothing to there excrpt for passing through it for the nirnrood quest and the elderscroll. I dunno it just feels like so much wasted potential. While all skyrim is cold colourless and harsh, this could have been a more phantasy like area like from oblivion, combined with the great mystery of the dwemer...
The first time I stepped in to Blackreach I was in awe. I still like the place, but it feels smaller once you get the organization in your head. It's basically just a big 'X' in terms of connecting to the surface. The top left is Mzinchaleft, the top right Alftand, the bottom left caved in and is just the spider tower, and the bottom right is Ralbdthar Market.
I think the books found around Blackreach are from Sinderion's travels around the cavern and maybe his crew of helpers? All of the books are found near chairs so it makes sense that they would have the book on them and sit down to read and hang out in the atmosphere/sit where the Dwemer once sat.

I feel like the big glowy shrooms haven’t been there for thousands of years, but they’ve had that long to grow with nobody there to get in the way. Lots of mushrooms grow down there normally but they could be getting their size from the aetherium in the ground, that would explain why they glow too
Blackreach was one of my most memorable experiences from first full playthrough of this game (which was actually quite recently ~2 years ago, was busy with other games). I was so terrified yet intrigued by its entirety and made a point out of exploring the entire place, but I'm sure I still missed a ton of secrets that are waiting to be discovered. That place felt so unwelcoming, but that was its charm
Once when I was a wee lad I walked past my dad playing Skyrim and he was in Blackreach and at the time I thought he was underwater and that the mushrooms were actually giant jellyfish.
Camel, I think I have an answer to your lever question in the Dwarven Automaton design: in engineering, redundancy is used to as a fail-safe so that there's a way to something to function, no matter what. I have no doubt that all those automated guards were once activated by a simple portable remote or Dwarven cell phone, but in the end, if all else failed, a simple switch would activated them. The best example is outer space design, where there are multiple ways to open hatches, fix air filters, etc. Love the videos. Cheers!

Great video, but I'm curious about Sinderion's death Blackreach was in vanilla Skyrim so if you played before getting the Dawnguard DLC you cannot obtain Bolts only arrows maybe that's why Sinderion has arrows not bolts.
I think Dwarven Bolts were in the vanilla game, but could be wrong. The Dawnguard equipment is definitely DLC, of course. I was always under the impression that the Dwarven Crossbow and Bolts were vanilla, though. I would have to confirm.

It's super funny to hear him acknowledge at least 2 more modern adventurers who came into Blackreach and still get confused by the modern books. My guy, clearly the Falmer stole it from the adventurers' camps. Just because they can't read it doesn't mean they didn't take it. Like even then the simplest answer is that an adventurer dropped it or something lmao.
These videos are absolutely astounding on the speech and in depth analysis you go in. The CCC series is a great example of the beauty of the Elder Scrolls and how hard the game developers worked for this. I didn't realize how much I missed while in Blackreach.
Spoiler alert: Inside that Falmer hut on the cliff is a Falmer armour. which confirms that there's two in the game but not to be confused with the heavy/hardened Falmer armour
7:37 I’m guessing this is just a looked over detail from before the dawn guard dlc was released, since crossbows and bolts weren’t part of it the game yet, I remember seeing an orange glowing dwarven arrow in calcelmos museum labeled “dwarven centurion arrow” that you couldn’t interact with which also happen to disappear around the release of dawn guard
37:47 I always assumed this was a throne with easy access to a Killswitch in case a king or queen heard something they didn't want to hear. But it was ruined by a buggy sit/stand animation.
I think a very reasonable explanation for the Nordic pillar is that it was carved by resident Atmoran slave miners working in Blackreach under Dwemer taskmasters. It's existence is likely in an area where slaves were kept, and the Nordic workers made it to give themselves a sense of solidarity or a reminder of home. Similar instances of slave artistry in ruins can be seen throughout human history, lending credence to this theory.
Ya know, i never figured your puns could get any worse, but the one about the Fisherman and the Wisp Mothers really changed my mind. In all seriousness, i really love everything you do, Camel. And all of that is reinforced by your hair. Your long, luscious hair. God, I've bwen growing mine out for thee years and it's still nothing compared to yours. Much love, dude 💙💙
They're usually comparing to Morrowind in stead of Oblivion. While Morrowind certainly felt more "alien" than Skyrim, it was supposed to be like that. Doesn't make Skyrim look "generic". :)
Morrowind was just awful to me. The same three shades of colour everywhere, and after walking from the place you start at (Can't remember the name right now xd) to Balmora, I saw maybe like 1 scrib and one plant on the way there. Nothing else. I understand that it was made over ten years ago, but the people who praise Morrowind really need to take off their nostalgia goggles. And out of the three games, Oblivion is the most Generic. Cyrodiil just wasn't that interesting of a place, literally every single province on Tamriel is more interesting, with perhaps the exception of High Rock.
It was made 17 years ago to be honest, in 2001. At the time it looked absolutely fantastic (I clearly remember thinking "holy shit, the water REFLECTS STUFF!"). The storyline is fantastic and the options you get to develop your character are too, but I agree it is hard to get back into in 2018 of course.
Regarding the part about Sindurion (however you spell his name) and why he has dwarves arrows in his back rather than bolts. The ammo type of crossbow bolts was only added to Skyrim when Dawnguard released, and everything in Blackreach is from vanilla Skyrim. I imagine what happened was this: they put dwarven arrows in the back of Alchemy bro here because it was the closest thing at the time to crossbow bolts, but the main idea was to make you assume that the spheres did it. Then when Dawnguard finally came it, whether due to laziness or they just honestly forgot about it, never changed the arrows to bolts.
Random Cat Name Mmmm I dont think so... I remember sneaking around there before the dlc came out and don't remember that. But I also cant confirm that either.

The Dwarven spheres shoot arrows in the original Skyrim, as the bolts are exclusive to the dawnguard dlc
Good observation!
I recently got the dlc. Are the bolts useful for anything? Can I get a crossbow later or something?
Yes, the Dawnguard use them. They can be obtained from them or looted from them.

But even after you kill the dragon, the orb still glows
@@omegathan there could still be more souls in the orb.

YES! Finally
I think thats an execution ground, see that straight line goin across the platform? A spinning blade trap appears emerges from that line
Yeah, I thought the same. Plus, its a bit small to be an arena.
I saw execution and I thought one person tied to the post and the blade pops up. The war quarters i interpreted as living space like head quarters...
I've always thought the exact same thing. A prisoner would be tied/chained in the center from the four posts, then the blades activated. The seats were for the witnesses to the execution.
I have a feeling that the large cocoons are the giants that were in blackreach, and the spiders just ate them.
Most likely, wandered too far away from wherever they camp out at, and probably got 1 or 2 more that went to search for the missing giant/giants.
Theory on the Nordic pillars: Giants could have originated from atmora, so it's possible that the giant in blackreach carved atmoran symbols into the pillars

That thing under water that intakes the water is a Dwemer water purifier just a theory but it makes a lot of sense I think being that Blackreach has a lot of mushrooms and spores everywhere the Dwemer probably didn't want to go blind like the Falmer so they had to purify the water to make it drinkable
wait the falmer are blind? 😂 I HAD NO IDEA
Can I just point out they _made_ the Falmer blind? They offered them protection from the invading Nords from Atmora then betrayed them, tortured them and basically made them unwilling slaves. Of course they don't want to go blind like the Falmer, because they don't want to be tortured by other Dwemer
A lot of dwemer machines also appear to be steam-powered, so they would have needed to pump water into some centralized reservoir.

Could be. Or aetherium isn't harvestable by normal means. Or it's an oversight by Bethesda.
@@sirreginaldfishingtonxvii6149 yeah
Trusek geode isn’t a material itself it’s were volcanic/or non volcanic crystals buildup, so I think it’s raw atherium. Plus why would they have atherium mining operations?

My personal theory on The Arena is that it wasn't used for fights at all... but for executions. The four posts on the outside made me think that the victim would be tied up and then cut to bits by the trap, all whilst being viewed by the surrounding crowd. Pretty nasty stuff, I know, but it just didn't look like an arena to me.
Anonymous Biscuit yeah, they know for many of their torture device
Wouldn't surprise if they have this as an public execution
Bthardamz's Lower District on Peryite's Quest has those too, worse is its on an Amphitheater
That was my thought too. In the thieves guild quests, Karliah comments on the dwarves being cruel, cruel people, when we found the torture chambers.
Nothing concrete but thinking archaeogically it'd make more sense & suits their culture far more than is suggested here
Anonymous Biscuit those sadistic mother truckers
I could be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure he's always been normal for me. I don't think I've ever killed him bc it felt wrong.

The Falmer came later to drag them away, but left the book because they can't read.
maybe it was an arena for automatons, a dwemer engineer fighting automaton construction skill tournament...
That would make sense because of the Debate hall they would use the debate hall to hold trials then they would go to the public execution spot and determine Guilty or Innocent

The first time I stepped in to Blackreach I was in awe. I still like the place, but it feels smaller once you get the organization in your head. I think the books found around Blackreach are from Sinderion's travels around the cavern and maybe his crew of helpers? All of the books are found near chairs so it makes sense that they would have the book on them and sit down to read and hang out in the atmosphere/sit where the Dwemer once sat.

Cheers!
I like how it's Just 1second longer than solstheim
Yes thank God! I was starting to get worried about you Camel, I know what I'm doing for the next hour and a half
Aussie Dude Assaults Me With Dad Jokes for 1.5 Hours
forreal though there are so many things i never caught or took time to think about here, thanks for illuminating blackreach
Ah yes, Bethesda's great attention to detail, even though they still use the same 20 year old engine
I just hope the next elder scrolls game is on the new engine
@@mudkat85 what new engine. Fallout 4 and skyrim special still use the same engine. It also has an fps based physics system, which means if your frame goes far enough above 120 you will phase through shit
@@mudkat85 TES6 and star field are still being made on the creation engine, which is just the gamebryo engine they've been using since morrowind
@@thearchitectshands6213 such a necro but the fps based physics is because of a terrible implimentation of havok that they refuse to fix havok and their script engine are both implimented wrong and they refuse to fix them since their addition in oblivion
even without mods, its still amazing to play today.
btw does anyone know the backgroundmusic of the video?
time for an hour and a half long study break ye boi
Abi Young I would see this as relatable but you actually need to start to take a break
After roleplaying a certain character of mine in a recent Skyrim outting...
I would like to see a mod that reconstructs the place as a possible base for a vampire coven. It could be interesting as it is a secluded area away from the sun and is connected to every corner of Skyrim.
*Just claps loudly*
Seen the title then the time on the video. Legend, most TH-camrs I can't listen to for 15 minutes this dude went over a hour and it's actually worth it
I feel like the dwemer could have made a pneumatic air gun and still have it be lore Freindly
I mean they already have fully working machines that fire metal at high speeds so why not
There is a dwemer autoblade mod. Which is basically a chainsword. It's lore-friendly enough for me with how much tech they have.
As next thing air guns and grenades maybe... As masters smithing, hydraulics and mining they surely would come about some explosives.
I just can't believe how long these videos are, especially considering their quality. Great job dude.
Great video, but I'm curious about Sinderion's death Blackreach was in vanilla Skyrim so if you played before getting the Dawnguard DLC you cannot obtain Bolts only arrows maybe that's why Sinderion has arrows not bolts.
Check the Dwemmer museum carefully. There may be one more bolt than you imagine. Also a good arrow, even if singular.
I think Dwarven Bolts were in the vanilla game, but could be wrong. The Dawnguard equipment is definitely DLC, of course. I was always under the impression that the Dwarven Crossbow and Bolts were vanilla, though. I would have to confirm.
@@ElysetheEevee 1 all crossbows and bolts are from dawnguard
2 vanilla Skyrim means unmodded Skyrim not oldrim
I've never clicked on a notification so fast. Holy shit, what an effort, how dedicated do you have to be to make such an exhaustive and complex video, mind blown. And THE PUNS, it's too much goodness at once, I can't breathe :D
.. And then I opened the description. You're actually crazy Camel.
Love you
Thank you so much for making these. When I'm having a really bad bout with my anxiety and I cant seem to get out of my own head, I throw one of these videos on and it gives me enough time to clear my thoughts and get myself into a better mind set. I know that's not why you've made these or anything like that but I just wanted you to know your videos help someone out threw some really hard times. Thank you again and I hope you're having a wonderful day.
😂😂😂 anxiety....
@@Fuckblmfuckpalestine you are a asshat
It's super funny to hear him acknowledge at least 2 more modern adventurers who came into Blackreach and still get confused by the modern books. My guy, clearly the Falmer stole it from the adventurers' camps. Just because they can't read it doesn't mean they didn't take it. Like even then the simplest answer is that an adventurer dropped it or something lmao.
what’s weird about blackreach is the storm call shout works inside
The nordic arch was probably taken from the nords by the dwemer to study the architecture and patterns
DJ MK which*
SneakyWarrior 82 It's not any of the hardened or heavy Falmer armour. It's the normal Falmer armour

No you spelled “which” like “witch”
What do you mean yo??
I'm watching the full curiosity series while I'm sick, thank you for the calm content you make.
Hope you feel better!!!
I've been subscribed since your early Oblivion videos and I love them all. Keep up the awesome work, Camel!
I don't care what others say your puns make my day amazing thank you
Roses are red,
Camelworks' videos are good,
This chest contains random leveled loot.
YEEES, I’m gonna watch this to my Swedish fika
I don't know what that is, but fika sounds good :)
fika är livet
I'm doing the same :D
Ofta andra svenskar kollar på Kamelen haha 😂
Camelworks "Fika" means "booger" in Hungarian.. lol.
It's exactly the same length as the Solstheim CCC..... I smell Cameluminati involvement.
Midnight Lemon , Ooh a sponsor badge! #respect
Sounds like an almsivi intervention to me
Nah off by 1 sec
Ya know, i never figured your puns could get any worse, but the one about the Fisherman and the Wisp Mothers really changed my mind. In all seriousness, i really love everything you do, Camel. And all of that is reinforced by your hair. Your long, luscious hair. God, I've bwen growing mine out for thee years and it's still nothing compared to yours. Much love, dude 💙💙
I've been falling asleep every night to your videos for the past week, thanks for putting out some quality content!
My personal theory on the random Nordic ruin bit is that a very rich and eccentric Dwemer wanted a lawn ornament.
People who say Skyrim looks generic always forget places like Blackreach... :)
Johnnythefirst those people would prefer the god awful open world of Oblivion than Skyrim
Johnnythefirst just a little correction. Morrowind was published in 2002
YES, great way to start my morning.
PANCAKEMINEZZ the only issue with this is that there is a dwarven bolt in the vanilla game (at the dwemer museum)
Random Cat Name Mmmm I dont think so... I remember sneaking around there before the dlc came out and don't remember that. But I also cant confirm that either.
It's in one of the display cases (the right path when you enter the museum, one of the cases to your left)
Random Cat Name I havent played in a while. I'll have to check it out for myself. Regardless, it still couldve been an oversight. Or Camel could be right. Either or.
No the one at the museum isn’t a bolt it’s a ballista arrow I think as it’s much too large for a sphere to use in its bowgun thing
I feel the stairs that lead to nothing were places for meditation or possibly a place to have magical and or alchemical tests as everyone knows the dwemmer were always advancing and making breakthroughs in those areas
These "stairways that lead to nothing" are most likely to be lobbys as they have a view to a pond dwarfs might have used them as picnic grounds they would bring in a blanket then lay on it and relax
Strap in, ladies and gents, we're in for a long one
(straps ON accidently)
That's what she said....
A Sonic Animator
I knew it.
Camel should name all the locations in the next TES, just saying.
the puns would be endless....
I love Blackreach!! it's my favorite location in Skyrim mainly just because I think it is so beautiful!!
"It really doesn't leave...mushroom.." aight bro 😂💀
I want you to know your videos are a treasure and i still watch them and play them when i cant sleep. 10/10 best videos
