We just bought a home with saguaro cacti reaching inside the front patio roof (+- 9 feet tall). Several 'limbs' reach up this high. How do I cut back the cacti so the roof and cacti both can survive growth?
I just got an Orchid Cactus and it is like the brown branch on your plant ant the base of most branches. When cutting them off will it still bloom or will it act as a young plant again and not give blooms
A vacant house in my neighborhood has a cactus vine growing on the fence and up a tree with beautiful flowers growing all over it every ft or so that resemble bird heads simular to bird of paradise plant, does anyone know what kind of cactus this is ??

This doesn't look like my cactus which has sharp needles growing all over it. Do u have any cactus that look like mine?

Is it a strelitza maybe?
Now I'm curious. There is an app called PlantNet that does a great job of identifying plants. Try that out and let me know what kind of plant it is.
