Your reviews are better than most established reviewers out there and I love how you highlight the faults. Thanks also for a sensible full screen landscape comparison as I have no idea why the bigger channels do vertical crop comparisons that is of no use to anyone. Great stuff. Have subscribed.
Really appreciate your hard work on providing us the comparison on these two camera's. It inspired me to also do one of my own to add to the community who loves these two cameras. Thank you sir!
@@TravelingAhn I know the struggle. I am at the office almost all daylight hours, and my mind is bound to non-creative work so my video is also delayed.
ZV-E10 is great but imo you really need a gimble for vlogging, a mic and a good lens which will then blow the cost far above the pocket 3. Now we're talking about vlogging here. so if this is the case DJI Pocket 3 100%
Zv e10 is the better camera if you're willing to put in the extra work. If you don't care and just want a clean, steady and quick process the DJI is for you. Both great cameras, for different styles.
Did you use 11mm f1.8 ? Or what kind of lens in zve10. I have already zve10 and im hardly tryin to chooose. Buy OP3 od just sigma 10-18 f2.8 as a lens ;)
I am going to be doing some comparisons on my channel between these two, but I can't agree more with your conclusions. I don't think we need the wide-angle on the Pocket 3 unless you're including more people in your vlogs/films. I think the big test is low light. Most cameras do a decent job in good lighting, and you'd be hard pressed to see much difference unless you're specifically looking at something like shutter speed. That's the reason I got the ZV-E10 over other cameras. Lots of wide, fast lenses, only to find out you have to have a gimbal if you're handheld or use catalyst. The main issue with Catalyst isn't the workflow. It's the shutter speed. If I'm going to crank my shutter speed, why not just use something small like my cellphone or a GoPro? I would argue you probably should. Except for lowlight. Then you're losing light again with the shutter speed so high for Catalyst and you're back to using a Gimbal. Now you've got a professional camera that you can't bring with you in certain places, and makes people ask what media outlet you work for. This is the conclusion I came to and why I bought the Pocket 3.
Thanks. Very helpful. For much of your video the ZVE-10 has the better image quality. But, as you point out, the problem is glass. It needs a good a lens to shine and that's where it starts getting expensive (and then add a 30 bit wireless mic). At almost half the price of the ZVE-10, the DJI Pocket 3 becomes a very attractive option for anyone on a budget.
What do you think, If we have a decent gimbal for zv-e10, should we again use catalyst browse and should we shoot the video in 1/200 shutter speed? Thank you in advance.
Thought our guy was setting up for a cartwheel during the 120 test. 😅 Honestly expected the ZVE-10 to blow the pocket 3 outta the water, but this is a lot closer than I expected. 😮
After i received my osmo pocket 3 i never use my zve10 lately. Trust me its easier to use than the zve10. Lpw light is great with no noticeable noise. But if your using for semi professional shot then the zve10 pair with a good does the job.
Pls say what should I choose for indoor steady video recording and outside vlogging, for both usage. DJI pocket 3 r Sony zv e10. Which is perfect or good for my indoor n outdoor video shooting. As I don't want to buy separate cameras for indoor n outdoor 😢
@@PradeepKumar-tq4ev for vlogging pocket 3 is good both indoor and outdoor. Zv e10 with kit lens are good for outdoor only. Not so good in lowlight or indoor but still usable unless you pair with a good lens with a wide aperture value.
@@wayneslink I just want to know bro that is it pocket 3 footage is very good indoor or not if I provide good light setup. I know it's great outdoor even in low light with all walking. For indoor tripod video shoots r talking video shoots, Is pocket 3 very good r not in indoors. Thanks a lot for ur reply 😃
I'm filming in the forest and it's so dark there, My GoPro stabilization falls apart, and The ZVE 10 needs a high shutter for CB which is not good in the dark forest 😅. I have been worried that the pocket wasn't good in lowlights, and I was afraid that it was too fragile. So it's a hard choice.
the fragile part is confusing me more than anything else. after 1 year warranty, its just more dilemma. what do you think.... i need some suggestions : (
i wouldnt call the zve10 a vlog camera. the stabilization is unusable. its more of an affordable studio or cinematic camera. the dji pocket 3 puts the zve10 to shame for vlogging.
Yeah, you are right! Definitely good on a tripod, not so much for vlogging unless you do the catalyst browse.... but now that I have used the pocket 3 and can instantly take the footage and run with it, I Cant go back. If you have multiple clips and allot of footage, that is a real pain! LOL
I think the Sony wins hands down in this demonstration here. As far as video quality, the Sony looks more natural and the pocket 3 looks too bright and over exposed. I don't understand why he said the Sony needs a gimbal for vlogging. If he is not using a gimbal in this demo, the stabilization looks usable to me. The Sony is also a photo camera but the DJI is mainly a video camera.
I don't know what's happening on 9 10 11 minutes in.... previous footage with your voice in the background and it's not showing what you're talking about. otherwise I'm going to continue with the video and hopefully it goes back to normal.
Crazy how a way smaller sensor can output a much better dynamic range. DJI really nailed this one!
Yes they did!

Its all depends on ease of use. If you are comfortable for heavy setup or a light pocket setup.

I think ZV E10 better quality but it is pricey and there is no stabilization so its not good for vlog. I think DJI is much more all rounder.

the dji pocket has better dynamic range and 4k120p is sharper and more detailed.
I know right! Its pretty crazy for a 1 inch sensor! Most people would never know the difference if you dont tell them or run them side by side.
I honestly thought the dynamic range would be worse, but it is not! It is really good!
