All the very best to Brentford FC. It's great to see the club doing everything possible to secure its future while simultaneously bringing its facilities up to date. It's essential for fans that their clubs have dreams, ambition and foresight, and BFC deserve immense credit for this project. Make it a fortress. Good luck, boys. *UTW*
I can see them gaining promotion to the Premier League for the first time by the end of the season, that does seem a real possibility the way things are going in the Championship.
@@emmalawlor7344 Fulham, Swansea, Cardiff, Hull, exactly that. I think all those other teams I've mentioned above will make the Premier League within the next few seasons. What they don't need though is dodgy owners who are only in it for themselves to overspend and strip the clubs of all their assets. They would then see double/trebble relegations if that was the case.
Multi coloured seats have been installed so on tv the stadium doesn't look empty , as Brentford can't fill a big stadium. It gives the effect they are sat in.
I've driven past it many times on the M4 and have seen it gradually coming together and it's good to see it almost complete. It's quite a strange looking ground that has been squeezed into a very confined space, but i've got to say, I really do like it and it gives it its own unique character. From above, it still reminds me of a crab, with the main stand being the main shell/body and the stands behind the goals being the claws. I can't wait to visit the "THE CRAB" stadium. From an AFC Wimbledon fan. All the best to you Bees.
Facilities wise it looks great. The overall design doesn't get the same plaudits from me tho. I take it they'll be building a boozer on each corner outside?
As a Spurs supporter, I wish you Bees all the best in your fab new stadium. I hope you enjoy your new and 2nd best stadium in London??Good luck to my new number 2 club! I'll be watching you and cheering you on. Let me still say COYS!
Nice one Tony. I just made a comment earlier about Bees. Guy I go to games with is Spurs and Bees season ticket holder (long story). However he has said your new stadium is the best ever and looks it. Love to go and maybe next season in Premier League? Let me still say COYB!
As a fan of architecture, this design is fascinating and far more interesting to the eye than all of those hollow bowl grounds like Doncaster, Coventry, Middlesbrough etc. From a Posh fan.
Ah, yes. I hate it when the seat I'm in is a different colour than the seat next to me. How are we supposed to watch the game from a white seat, if the seats around us aren't white as well?
I really like this stadium. I feel like a lot of people moaning about it just want every stadium to look exactly the same and totally generic. I like the fact it's quirky
Quirky stadiums there used to be few but not so many these days ,The Dell comes to mind straight away when I see Brentford's new stadium !! I like it !!
Like it as it's different from the boring bowls of a stadium like Southampton and Leicester. It has character. I'm a Brighton fan and love our stadium but this is going to be one of the nicest stadiums in the country. Can the capacity be increased if you get to the prem?
It's a unique looking new stadium. A bit marmite but I think it's coming along nicely. Not a Lego bowl like so many others Riverside Emirates to name a couple. I like it Up the Villa
Good luck bees. Looking forward to Palace’s main standard, AFC Wimbledon’s return home, Everton’s wonderful new stadium and my local team, Luton Town and their 60 odd year wait to move from Kenilworth Road to Power Court. Exciting Times
Out of all the new grounds i've seen, this one actually looks like it has some character, unlike all the other soulless, symmetrical plastic bowl stadiums out there. Will be so sad to see Griffin Park go though. From a Wycombe supporter.
Seats are fine, theyre brentford colours. Whats he saying about magic pipes like a norf london club? I thought i had to leave my magic pipe at home????
I hate to say this, but I can tell the ground will be named after a sponsor. The fact it hasn’t got a name like griffin park, kenilworth road or Stamford bridge shows they haven’t named the ground long term.
Hi Guys, I love Griffin Park as much as you all do but we need to move on. Not many clubs can move just down the round- and that is what the Bees are doing. You away supporters can still visit the famous 4 pubs and yeah you will have a 15 min walk- so what! Ii think the new ground is brilliant- and more importantly the club is well managed and won't go bust building it. I've got my season ticket for next season and looking forward to it. What league we are in is of no import- just love good football.
Looks great.HOWEVER, what a massive trick they've missed by not having a club shop. That sense of togetherness before and after the game while splashing the cash will be lost. Having small "outlets" won't encourage anyone to browse and buy products. The store at the moment is a great place. It's buzzing. Kids (and adults) especially love to go in there, meet players and get their parents to purchase all manner of items. A few small stalls will destroy this excited togetherness. REALLY SHORT-SIGHTED. Especially when the store at GP is doing so well and is busier than ever. Extremely disappointed, as are all the fans I've spoken to, who find it an incredible deliberate oversight when there's so much more space to expand at the new stadium. Those spontaneous purchases too won't happen. Nor, I imagine, will there be a wide variety of stock. So sad to lose this experience.PLEASE, Brentford FC, RECONSIDER . There's still time!!!!Then we'll all be 100% happy with our new ground.
And another modern soulless football stadium. So the Premier League have now seen fit to have a one size pitch size (106x68). The more the FA get involved in our game the more our game gets ruined.
No offence but I don’t think it looks good at all, the angles look horrible so does the decor of the bars and dinning areas, I even think the directors box looks a bit basic, I guess if your a Bee you’d be happy enough although I have to say I think it’s all a shame as once again that traditional stadium is no more and replaced with something modern but inferior Griffin Park with the pubs on each corner it’s got character but this I’m afraid don’t do it for me

The reasoning behind this is that it makes it look full even when it's not

Not confident just hopeful and prepared. Our old stadium can be a mare when it's full, itll be sad for many when we leave.

1 game to go for Brentford...
You really needed this
Angle of stands look awful. But I suppose it's good enough for Brentford.
There’s no room to build it any other way. It’s squeezed inbetween 3 railway lines

Good addition to the championship.
That will look great in the championship next season
Do not like the angular stands .
It'll make the ground less generic and more unique. A bit like The Dell (Southampton's old stadium)
It looks very nice, I’m looking forward to going and renewing my season ticket, the only problem I have is where is the Disabled parking
A new stadium fit for the new season in ....the championship!
Mon the Bees from a Rangers fan 🇬🇧
Beautiful.
I’m not just saying this coz we are rivals but it’s just not my feel idk tho
The big question is..is there a pub on every corner of the ground? If not it`s a downgrade on Griffin Park

Lots of character for a new ground. Far better than Coventry and boro. Great stadium. BCFC fan

why didn't they connect the corner to the side stand which would have held more fans instead of having that down sloping roof.

nice and tight? the only thing tighter than it Brentford spending during the summer
Is it only me who kinda likes the multi coloured seats?😅😳😬
Nice but did they say only 1,500 away ?? Surely when the big teams come they would want way more than that
Canard TV teams usually get 10 percent of the ground so that would be 2000 at Brentford
