I work in a care facility with very sick and elderly people for 8 hours a day and then come home and do schooling with my kid. The stress has made me develop stress induced hair loss. This is what I needed to hear today. Everyone stay strong and stay safe

Reminds me of a time, summer before 8th grade, just dwelling on the reality of having a broken home life, sitting on the bench of the front porch alone, staring westward, straight at the red setting sun through an ugly tangle of distant trees, and just feeling...calm. Bleak, in a numb, almost serene sort of way, but completely enveloped in a sense of acceptance. Having it hit me that we were just each on separate islands: there was me, there was the Munchausen's-by-proxy-obsessed psychopath, and then there was everyone who was still lost in the lies. That we hadn't even bothered to discuss plans for the night (or lack thereof), though God knows, the foul taste in my mouth from current events had quite taken the edge off any sense of regret there. My home life was done. I needed to shine for myself. There was, simply, literally, nothing left for me here.
Anyway, I waxed way too eloquent there. Miss you guys!!

Im so honored to be a part of this video... The Used has been such an inspiration for me the last 8 years... I love being a nurse and wouldn’t change my job for anything in the world... I don’t regret volunteering on the COVID unit at our hospital... I am able to bring comfort for my patients and relieve some of the worries and sadness that their families have by updating them or by helping them say goodbye. It is such a stressful and emotional time but we will get through this together in the end ❤️💙
