Editing A Maternity Photo Session In Photoshop... LIVE!

It's one of your most commonly asked question so in this live session I'm going to show you how I sort, edit and colour correct my images. I'll be using images for a real photo session taken in my small home studio. The session I'll be editing is a maternity photoshoot and features the amazing Fern, who you might just recognise as one of our original model.
I ran through several different looks, so there is a range of images to process. From simple black and white conversions to full blown multi-layer montage, this session has plenty to keep me busy.

Back in the day ~20 years ago when Gavin was a child I used to get Digital photography mag and in it was a CD/DVD with photoshop tutorials by Gavin! And yes LRC has presets in built and design your own. You can also apply your previous settings from the last photo edits and choose which you want. Most work well but if you select a person using masking that’s not always picked up accurately in the next pic. I’ve new lens blur tool in LRC to remove the creases from a studio back ground 😊 In LRC ‘G’ is to go from developer module to the grid in the library module !

I agree about the shortcuts not making sense...I honestly change them all to fit my flow. Try it...set custom keyboard shortcuts.

I give them between 15 and 25 photos. let them choose and then retouch as needed.

I use external HDs too, a few years ago one failed....lost about 2tb of years worth of images and PSD files. Still have nightmares about it
