Hi all, I am looking for a bit of help. My Mazzer Robur S grinder has been super faulty. I have had it totally replaced and on the second one now that has exactly the same faults. Anyone played with one of these long enough to tell me if the faults I’m experiencing are normal for this grinder or whether I have been unfortunate enough to get two faulty grinders in a row? Will go more in depth upon receiving a reply. Thanks guys.

Sorry for the late reply. Mazzer generally are super solid grinders. Did you want to jump on our website, and email me what you are experiencing?

That’s quite a lot of clicks to change the time. Definitely Italian

There's obviously a shortcut -not shown in the video- to adjust the dose, it's menu+dose key. I can reassure you that Italians use shortcuts too.

The shortcut is not visible in this video

Good presentation, awful phone footage. Keep still!

Mazzer have been behind in technology for years and they are still years behind. They need to get schooled by Fiorenzato F83 XGI. Years ahead of Mazzer and around the same price for a grinder with inbuilt scales to give you the same amount of coffee every time and use Red Speed Flat burs as standard.
I did enjoy your video though but not the grinder.

To be transparent, haven't personally used an F83 XGI however will be interesting to play with and review. Will add it to our long list of items we want to feature TH-cam reviews off. We just did a review of the Mahlkoenig E65S gbw which should be up next week once the videographers do their magic.

F83 from Fiorenzato weight based is way less precise in dosing than several on-demand grinders, Robur included. Scale on that grinder is totally uneffective.

@@jackfinnigan73 Played with both, all things considered, Fiorenzato not even close. Mazzer has always been ahead of Fiorenzato, Eureka and others and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

You can't grind by weight at this highspeed. Every scale is too slow.
