How would you say coffee ground and brewed from the Mazzer Kold tastes compared to the Mahlkonig Peak? I understand they are completely different grinders, with different burr sets and burr geometries, but I personally love the Peak and wonder if investing in one of these would make sense as well.

It is possible to add the new coffee grinder fork to the older units to hold the portafilter ... cheers May I ask the part number ??

Hi Slavik, I was wondering, when changing the grind settings, how much grams or doses would you waste before the grind normalises to the new setting?

The Robur S has huge burrs so I would say give it at least 15 to 20 grams or a full double shot

Hi all, I am looking for a bit of help. My Mazzer Robur S grinder has been super faulty. I have had it totally replaced and on the second one now that has exactly the same faults. Anyone played with one of these long enough to tell me if the faults I’m experiencing are normal for this grinder or whether I have been unfortunate enough to get two faulty grinders in a row? Will go more in depth upon receiving a reply. Thanks guys.

Hi, I am quite surprised to hear this. We have never had a Robur S with any issues. In fact any Mazzer grinder with a problem is exceptionally rare. One thing that Mazzer is known for is extraordinary build quality and reliability. What exactly is happening with these grinders?

I heard a couple of jaws drop to the floor when he said .6g variation. It has been almost 22 mths since this was posted I wonder if those guys have recovered. lol I do like the chute interchangeability. Wee bit out of my budget range though and at 72 cm height, I need to get my sawzall out to fit it under the counter.

There's a shorter hopper available for Robur S, which brings it to the height of 62.7 mm.

@@SetaRossa83 Average cupboard height above the counter in a modern Canadian or American home is 18 inches or 45.72 cm. Since this is supposed to be for commercial use height is not a consideration. It would just required its own cart or island. It would still look out of place next to a espresso machine made for domestic use.

No you don’t need a saw at all. All you need is to open up a caffe. You might be the kind of person who will extend the garage to park the Scania.
