    • @Emeraldwitch30
      @Emeraldwitch30 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are easy to grow hydroponically too. In fact I've always had crap luck growing any cucumbers of any type
      But I started a new kratky bucket with 2 cucumber plants each every week this summer and this type is growing best with the most fruits!! I have just enough time to do one more bucket before it gets too cold. But I have them out in New greenhouse. I havent used mine in a few years as the poli went in a storm 😳
      So hubs bought me a new one. My $700🥒 cucumbers🙃🤣🤪 weve been laughing about it all summer.

    • @doodahgurlie
      @doodahgurlie 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Emeraldwitch30 It's okay. I don't even eat that much peppers and I spent like $1000 the past year buying all the stuff for growing them in hydro and in dirt. The aphids got me a few months ago, so then I was so over growing peppers. I tossed my peppers outdoors and let them fend for themselves and realized I only eat Thai peppers and jalapenos that I buy maybe once a year and freeze most since I don't eat that much peppers at all. And I spent all that money, time, effort trying to grow peppers. LOL! It was fun until the aphids got me good, though. Ah, well.

    • @Emeraldwitch30
      @Emeraldwitch30 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@doodahgurlie oh shoot I didn't even notice that this is a year old comment! I'm about $800 to $900 into my new obsession aka hobby out in my gardens. And🤬 APHIDS!!🤬 don't get me started on those little microscopic jerks!
      Outside- I don't get them but inside under my light set up they sneak in like friggen ninjas and by the time you find them they are everywhere!

    • @doodahgurlie
      @doodahgurlie 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Emeraldwitch30 Yep, I thought I had those aphids under control, but then I decided to see what happens if you don't smash or wash your plants off for a week...OMG, big mistake. It was so gross how quickly they multiply and the plants looked so nasty. I had to toss them out. They seem aphid free now, but I no longer care for my expensive peppers. I'm going back to flowers. LOL! But at least I learned a few new varieties that I'll try to grow again in the future like the KSLS, SRP, KS White Thai, and Brazillian Starfish. I also purchased 3 citrus trees, so I can use the lights I purchased earlier this year on those during the winter, so it's not all a loss, I guess. :)

    Ive had this in restaurants very nice way to get the taste buds going. Now, I have tried drying a few hot peppers and they have tended to go a grey/orange and dusty. Have you any tips on drying your peppers?

    • @KhangStarr
      @KhangStarr  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use a dehydrator set at low heat. This will help retain their color but takes longer to dry. Browse my channel for a video on this.

Too salty. Ah, I never rinse mine. Okay. Oh, extra stuff. Okay. This is going to be good. Tomorrow I will make this version. Thank you.
