I don’t know what they were thinking, setting that single target attack to deal 100% damage. Normal 2 target attacks deal 150% damage, triple the effect of his attack. You can’t even stack his debuff, making his single target attack virutally useless after the debuff is already on everyone. For the channeling skill, you have to constantly have your eureka above 2, or you exit the channeling state. Being in the channeling state deals 120% damage to all enemies inflicted with his bone debuff. Again, very underwhelming damage, especially for the AP required to consistently get the bone debuff applied to enemies, and eureka on himself. So while his kit is heavily built to make him a sub-dps, his low attack scaling only makes him viable as a support. You get even more lost damage in situations out of him where you are against 1 or 2 targets, where there are less targets for the channeling attack to hit. In a lot of cases you may as well run Pickles - he has much less of a bonus on his ult, but the buff is more universal (also works in mental teams), he is more AP friendly to have the buff constantly up and he does a lot more sub dps damage.
I feel like Getian has the potential to become a really good unit, if they release a good support/dps for a genesis damage team, that also does reality damage. Either a support who can multiply the teams genesis damage by 2x, or a main dps who stacks up more damage as genesis damage is dealt. We have plenty of units that focusses on genesis damage, but there’s not much of a reason to use genesis damage over reality or mental damage. There is no synergy between genesis damage dealers, and the damage itself is pretty underwhelming for all the characters that use it.
Hmmm, Idk if I really like that dmg output. Is it good? cause he doesn't have buff so it's not a really good partner for jiu. Maybe there's a dps in the future who might work better with him. But it's hard to see how. edit: so I just read the ult effect, and it's actually good. The ult basically pickle's but for reality dmg dealers. I still think the dmg output is quite low if I compare it to pickle (?). Gonna pull for him anyway cause he's hot birbman.

Getian is suitable if with Reality DPS, of course it can be with Centurion, but for with melania in my opinion it is not optimal, because melania is a Mental DPS type.

@@mickiekatsuragi2690 She’s definitely not a must pull, but she does pair well with Jiu, which pretty much everyone is going for. You’ll still get good value out of 37, Regulus isn’t that good as a main dps, as she does better attacking every second round as a sub dps. You do might want to prioritise getting a beast dps like Spathodea though. Both units are probably just as valuable for you in my opinion.

You can skip getian, I think it's still not good enough, you can focus on pulling in Jiu instead.
