My favourite band every times ! They saved my life once... With their 3rd record. I heard first and all the time as i was for long at the hospital.. I'll never forget ! Love Doves... .. 4 ever ! Thank you ! 😚👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💖
saw them live at the Showbox in Seattle back in '05, they encored with this, up until this point I liked this band, after that show, that encore, something else kicked in, like turned into love, absolutely brilliant these boys. Then there's the other story of 'Kingdom of Rust', listening speaks louder than words.
let's face it, the talent that's come out of Manchester since Joy Division has been unbelievable, the sound of Manchester. So many brilliant bands, cannot name them all here...but has produced some of the best bands the world has seen.
Always quality played live when Jimi and Andy swap. Bluewater is a very similar rare track. Always love the Wigan Casino video they play on the big screen.
Great band!! 1.Black and white town 2.the man who told everything 3.Rise 4.here it comes 5.lifelines 6.winter hill 7.snowden 8.N. Y. 9.The cedar room 10.the greatest denier
Hi cjl1979...it is from the Eden Project =) Doves are in the studio ATM, so I'm waiting too. If it's anything like the short audio samples they've posted on their site it is going to have a "Delta Tapes" influence. One can hope...Cheers
It looks like Eden Project cornwall, is that right? Looks like the bio-domes in the background. Saw Ian brown and badly drawn boy there - excellent setting! Doves rock and new album coming out autumn 2007 i hear. They are amazing live too!!!
@chris1232123 Interesting doc on the Northern Soul...thanks...but I recall ( having seen it live 4 times) that the footage they used here in America was from Wighan Casino BUT the kids were on skates...any info on that?
@PrettyPaul It's not roller disco, it's footage from a documentary on the "northern soul" movement. Well worth a watch for education /watch?v=TbEuq54FcBg
Jimi may be the lead singer but we absolutely can’t rule out the Williams brothers for their vocal talents. The whole band is spectacular.

That harmonica IS in the studio version, isn't it? What version do I have if it's not in there? My version isn't live. B-side, maybe?
@PrettyPaul sounds like we are both right to an extent then :)

But whos playing tha bass?
Sadly missed lads.

Drummer singing and Vocalist(Bassist) on drums and singing ?
yeah thought it was eden project. good quality tho
Fuck just crossed my mind the harmonica part can be influenced by Ennio Morricone - Man with the harmonica since doves are actually big fans... :)
Tab in mouth. Settle for the drums. Brilliant live band.
or Brian and Michael
Jimi. it's sampled
swap places and they're both tasty
not to forget 10cc
tasty
That harmonica solo was terrible..... I love them and all but honestly, that was bad
