- We have waited 10 years for this dream and it's finally here! Our lease is almost up on our current home and our new RV - a 40 ft 2022 Grand Design Solitude S-Class 3950BH - just got delivered just in time for us to move in while we renovate our fixer upper dream home! SO MUCH progress is being made on the house now and we can't decide which we are more excited about - the RV or getting a clearer vision for how the house will turn out! We move into the RV in 2.5 weeks and the kids finally getting to see our new home in person now is definitely taking away some of the fear we had about doing things this way!

I LOVE all your explanations and your pure enthusiasm over how things are going to look in the "new" house, etc. Also, regarding the RV floor plan, you guys were much more calm than I would have been after all the trouble to get it situated and level only to discover it's the wrong floor plan. Your whole family is just so kind. I love how you just give compliments to the people who build your house about how it's looking. Not just this video. Many videos. You have made very nice comments to the builders. That's so nice. I think sometimes they need to hear it. I think maybe they don't hear it much and it coming from someone like you they are building it for you it's more special.

What a beautiful and amazing adventure the Miller family has coming for them. It's funny how Amanda is like I am not upset but I am mad because they got the laying wrong on are RV now we have to have them deliver us a new one it was cute how Steven looked at Amanda like it's going to be ok. Congratulations! On the delivery of your RV. I hope the dealership is helping you resolve the issue of the missing L shaped sofa. I really noticed in this video that Lincoln's speech is so much clearer. I am so Happy for that little guy. His adoption video is what got me hooked on your channel to begin with. Amanda we have had an insta pot for a couple of years and we love it. There is so many meals you can make in it. I think it is a very smart appliance to have for RV living. When I got my instant pot Beef stew was our first meal. Now they have the instant pot,steamer,and AirFryer all in one. I'm excited about this new purchase.

Hopefully you get the seating arrangement sorted and the company can do it onsite. Hope you also come up with a good plan for the front as you will really need something when it rains. You could put large tiles down and it could be a permanent feature for your table and fire.

That is so disappointing that they gave you the booth / couch setup instead of the big couch. RV dealers are not known for being the greatest... and I can say that because I live full-time in an RV myself. I ended up getting one similar to this layout but much less fancy because I'm poor.. haha.. and I tore out the booth area and put in 2 recliners and a small couch. I do love it even though it has some problems with the slides.

In my opinion outdoor carpet may not work in rainy days, but you don't have to pour concrete though. If you want to have a semipermanent area, you can get outdoor deck tiles or even paving stones and turn the area under awnings into a safe and useful outdoor area.
We are thinking maybe astroturf and then an outdoor area rug on top of that for the outside dining area.
That place is a little piece of heaven!!! The kids will have the best time on that huge backyard!
