- For our Christmas vacation, we are spending a few days in Estes Park, Colorado to break up our drive to spend the holidays with Amanda's family! It's quite the incredible break from RV life and we decided this year to give the gift of time together over a bunch of big presents. Including getting to hike to one of our favorite spots on earth and finding that Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park had frozen over! And we are SO PROUD of Lincoln for hiking all by himself! Our baby boy is getting so big! So naturally, we decided to dance on the ice! It has been such a magical time and we can't wait for our next video - our big annual Christmas Special!

I loved when Liam and Ethan were doing their "What's up" thing. Comparing their facial expressions and the way they moved in general to even 6 months ago to now. My favorite Christmas Carol is "Scrooge" not for Albert Finney so much but for Kenneth More's Ghost of Christmas Past. He was larger than life. Also that version is so memorable to me because I saw it at the theater with my husband as a newlywed in 1970.
I don't think it is possible for you to love those children anymore than you already have, continue to be a blessing to everyone of them.

So much fun to see your Family in Estes Park. It is beautiful. I kept rooting that you buy gloves for the stocking stuffers. My Sister from Memphis came to Illinois, first stop, Target to buy gloves. Colorado or Utah always have super gloves of all kinds. Make sure you visit the Olympic Park in Park City. Nothing like looking down a Slalom Cliff. I have a feeling the boys and Penny would love it.

I know I have said this before but I love how Reese is with Linky & Ethan, My family was big & my oldest sister was much older than some of the younger ones but she loved on us like we were her own & I see same in Reese. My parents have passed & Now she is the Mama Bear❤️… Reese believes that as they get older they will cherish you ,I know we love our Big Sis/Mama Bear🥰😍

I see you drove past my sister's street, I only wish we weren't in a snow drought (at least in Boulder/Denver), but it is beautiful. I always think of John Denver's classic, 'Rocky Mountain High' when in the mountains. I bet Stephen sound great singing that song. Perhaps you can play in in the van on your way out. OH!
