Instruments like the condenser could pull the GI up before setting it down. After using the condenser, how do i know if there are voids in the filling or around the margin? Is using a moist microbrush ever a good choice to condense/shape the material?
You are welcome. True, it gets sticky quickly. It is recommended to use a plastic filling instrument to close the marginal gaps. Using it from the restoration to the tooth direction will ensure all margins are sealed. A microbrush may be used but not a moist one if not recommended by the manufacturer as it may impact the material property. Cleaning the plastic filling instrument constantly with an alcohol swab during the shaping helps shape the GIC.
How to avoid sticking of glass ionomer during application or what is the best way to condense conventional glass ionomer without sticking to instrument ?
Light dipping of the instrument in bonding agent can help create a light barrier between the instrument and the glass ionomer, but just a very light dip not soaking the instrument so it does not affect the properties of the glass ionomer cement.

لا ال acid etch قوي. إذا مفيش لا تستخدمي شيء وأعملي follow up للسنة. ال GIC ممكن يستحمل ٦ شهور إلى سنة أو أحيانًا أكثر لمن يتعمل مزبوط. - إذا كانت السنة vital: ممكن يتشال GIC ويتحط كومبوزت. ففي حالة مافي enchant حطي ال GIC راقبي السنة وإذا فيه شيء ممكن تعيديها. - في حالة السنة إندو: ١. إذا تحتاج السنة كراون: ممكن بدون etching وممكن تعملي كومبوزت قبل الكراون. ٢. إذا ما يحتاج كراون: ممكن بعد ما تتأكدي الإندو كويس تشيلي معظم ال GIC وتسيبي شوية على ال orifice وتعملي كومبوزت.

When can the patient eat after GIC?
Immediately similar to the composite, they can eat as soon as the local anesthesia wears off to avoid the patient biting on his/her lips and cheeks.

ممكن يا دكتورة لو مفيش. polyacrylic acid استخدم acid etch عادي.. خصوصا لو الضرس اصلا معمول اندو؟
لا ال acid etch قوي. إذا مفيش لا تستخدمي شيء وأعملي follow up للسنة. ال GIC ممكن يستحمل ٦ شهور إلى سنة أو أحيانًا أكثر لمن يتعمل مزبوط.
