The BMW model 507? Yes, classic lines & size! Almost bankrupted BMW. But Elvis had two, thankyewverymuch.
Arguably, one of the most beautiful BMWs ever made was the 1970ish 3.0 CS. I am extremely surprised this is not in your lineup of beautiful German cars.

I wouldn't describe the 2002 or the golf as beautiful. And I didn't know the 500k came with a ford V8 engine either...

The E30 M3's are now old enough to be antiques in my state, perhaps an update include a modern day classic in the mix?

GOLF “was an instant classic design”......guess why? An italian called Giugiaro. The one who designed many beautiful cars included the Brera.

DKW F-102! Clean, modern lines with two-stroke attitude. When Daimler sold Auto Union to Volkswagen, the major changes were going to a four-stroke engine and reviving the defunct AUDI name.
There was one German beautiful car that was totally fogotton. NSU RO80.
What about the 280CE that appeared in The Hangover? I really liked that car.

I'm not a Beemer fan (or maybe I dislike the entitled drivers) but that 507 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made - a space I normally reserve for the E-type

Ok, 2002 is a cool car, but beautiful? Not even in the same league as the rest of these gorgeous machines.
I like the cars, surprised that the BMW 3.0 CS, 1969-1971 Opel GT and the Mercedes Benz w 108/109 were not in the list

Really? No Borgward Isabella TS Coupe, the car that saved the time-honored Borgward company by being a great success? It's a stunning design and one that deserves to be remembered. More than 200,000 Isabellas were made for crying out loud!

Golf 1 was my first car, build in year 1974 with tin from Russia, very rusty, from 1975 VW used German metal
I love the mkI golf, but I rarely see one these days without the oddball small wheels they put them. Guess I'm out of touch with what is considered cool these days, but to me it ruins the looks of the car.

There are many kind of tastes. There was one car that i would call beautiful. BMW 507. I would ad Fiat Dino coupe 2400 and Austin Healey 3000 easily in that list.
This is supposed to be a list of German cars. Last time I checked FIAT and Austin weren't German.
The car at 5:50 Is an Excalibur It looks simular to a 360K, but it is a Ford (Maybe 1973). The black one looks better, but it is not a Mercedes.

The last one is AUTO Union, NOT "Audi Union!!! This is the same company who build Porsche, & Volkswagen. As for that white Mercedes 500K, that one has a FORD engine!! The Mercedes engine is very different.

Auto Union, not Audi Union ;-) In 1932, after the world economic crisis brings together the four car brands Horch, DKW, Audi and Wanderer to the Auto Union. The Union and three Brands in this Union has long disappeared, After war the logo with the 4 rings only lives at DKW cars, but in 1965 DKW was renamed Audi.

Thank you! I am a fan of the Borgward in particular. The way that BMW treated the company prior to the 1961 liquidation was downright despicable.

911 the ultimate sports car? yeah it's fast as hell, but who wants all that weight in the ass when cornering?
Get it right (slow in, fast out) and that rear weight bias gives phenomenal traction out of corners. Rear-engined Porsches have been crushing the opposition for nearly 70 years for a good reason!
