I have predicted that Barbie will win ONLY song before the nominations, that is what a real expert does, not changing its opinion after every single event. Poor Things will win Costumes and Production design because it has a very superior work. The comparison with Black Panther/The Favourite only helps Poor Things, Black Panther had the most ambitious and inventive work, while The Favourite was the classical period peace, with a little twist on it, Poor Things is BOTH things this year.

When Brother Bro emphasized All of Us Strangers being unlikely to win Best Casting due to it being four people, I kept thinking about that poor actress who plays the waitress in the diner at the end. Five people?
just for the record, i would barely count poor things as a british film. the cast is mostly american (with some truly terrible accents, looking at you Christopher Abbott), the director is Greek, and it was released in the uk way after it was out in the us
Guys I’m sorry but I just don’t think Divine joy randolph is all that special. Am I missing something? She’s good of course but I don’t see her as a clear winner
@tonygeckler76 you seriously think those films will win best picture because, first of all, Alexander Payne didn't get nominated for best director at the Oscars, and secondly, poor things is not a top tier choice to win best picture.
For best picture, “Anatomy”, not “Poor things”, is in 2nd place. “Anatomy” has director and casting nominations and is much less divisive. I don’t project “Anatomy” winning over “Oppenheimer”, but that is certainly possible. For best actress it’s 50/50 Emma and Sandra.
If Jacob Elordi wins anything for Saltburn, it's gonna be so embarrassing for everyone involved. He literally did nothing but be hot. I would rather they give it to Sophie Wilde or Mia McKenna-Bruce

This is a close race between oppie and zone(oppie is winning the oscar) but I feel like zone will win some extra award, it's screenplay or sound and from what I know the sound design is insanely great so I'll say zone
Visual effects:the creator
If Napoleon wins and I have to consider it for the oscar, I'm going to do something extreme
British Film: Poor Things
British debut:How to have sex?
Rising star:Mia McKenner-Bruce(She is the only one who is British)
I don't know anything about the shorts so I can't predict those
Really well thought out collection of likely winners.
I highly doubt that The Holdovers wins Screenplay, especially with previous winners generally being writer-director movies. Just look at The Banshees of Inisherin last year.
@@hubertphu7026 I thought Alexander Payne wrote it,must have forgotten about that,I think it's possible, I'll be a little surprised if holdovers didn't win any screenplay awards and they liked it so I'm taking a risk
SICK outfits
Jocob Elordi is AUSTRALIAN too lol
Okayyy before I even begin the video I just have to say it! Justin is serving cvnt!!!!!! We love to see it!!!
Did they forget Editing and Animation?
What did i hear? "He's from Ireland. Close enough?" Give the Irish and Ireland more credit. Please. Oh, and Hello Kitty!
Borrowing that sweater immediately
Don’t write off Rosamund Pike. She delivers the best lines in Saltburn effortlessly!
You guys should do Annie Award predictions!
It seems to me that the Oscars are mentioned more in this video than the actual Baftas
Why do I feel like Rosamund Pike might take supporting actress? i just feel like everybody loves her, and she is playing a british upper class character.
Jacob elordi is australian
I have predicted that Barbie will win ONLY song before the nominations, that is what a real expert does, not changing its opinion after every single event. Poor Things will win Costumes and Production design because it has a very superior work. The comparison with Black Panther/The Favourite only helps Poor Things, Black Panther had the most ambitious and inventive work, while The Favourite was the classical period peace, with a little twist on it, Poor Things is BOTH things this year.
bingo.
The fits are fitting!!
When You Predicted Your Earliest Oscar Predictions……I Said Nolan will Sweep This Year…Everyone was Laughing at Me…..Even You Guys Said He Will never win an Oscar…..Now Who’s Laughing ??? 😂😂😂
Oh, I remember the "He Will never win an Oscar" 😂
Bradley Cooper could be an upset. BAFTA loves a super transformative biopic performance.
Im sure other people commented this but Jacob Elordi is Australian lol does that change your prediction?
no best editing, no best animated?
The Boy and the Heron won Best Animated Film. ❤
EMMA STONE WINNER BAFTA 🕯️🤞🤞
Yes, I want that so badly. She is exceptional
She won.beat Actress at the baftas before
Guys, Elordi is Australian. But I think that he would still win, the only one who would come close to him would be Dynevor.
When Brother Bro emphasized All of Us Strangers being unlikely to win Best Casting due to it being four people, I kept thinking about that poor actress who plays the waitress in the diner at the end. Five people?
Did they predict animated??
just for the record, i would barely count poor things as a british film. the cast is mostly american (with some truly terrible accents, looking at you Christopher Abbott), the director is Greek, and it was released in the uk way after it was out in the us
16:56 "They can't always separate their peas from their carrots." ☝
You forget the best rising star is just the whoever's British award.
Also, Elordi is Australian and you missed both Animation and Editing, you are really quite low bar this year. Great fashion from both though.
Feline beauty loves the camera. Then they proceed to block her 😂
Such a cutie. She knows when you guys are recording 😸
BAFTA has always given a gazillion awards to non-British people. „X will win because they are British“ is just lazy and redundant.
Weirdly I can see Hüeller winning for the zone of interest to make up for the fact Emma stone will win lead actress
Carey Mulligan is a funny name
terrible thing when the winners repeats in every major televised award
You forgot best animated feature
Jacob Elordi is Australian
Poor Things and The Holdovers should beat Oppenheimer!
Brother Bro should win BAFTA for best costume design. 👏
Poor things being considered british is so weird to me since the writer, director, and all of the stars are non british.
Guys I’m sorry but I just don’t think Divine joy randolph is all that special.
Am I missing something?
She’s good of course but I don’t see her as a clear winner
I kinda agree, apart from one scene, I didn’t feel enough range from her character
Wait isn’t Jacob Elordi Australian?
Jacob Elordi is not British tho…

Oppenheimer is obviously going all the way at this point
As it should.
Overrated. Rooting for Poor Things or the Holdovers.
@@MichaelBriggs3 Nah. Poor Things or The Holdovers personally.
@tonygeckler76 you seriously think those films will win best picture because, first of all, Alexander Payne didn't get nominated for best director at the Oscars, and secondly, poor things is not a top tier choice to win best picture.
@@tonyg76 did you even see the dominance oppenheimer has all awards season
Anatomy of a Fall will win, anatomy sweep (I’ve never seen the film)
Sweepenheimer!!!
What a stupid message.
@@ktom5262 what about it
@@ktom5262 Sweepenheimer....
@@ktom5262 Yesss, Sweepenheimer!!!
Jacob Elordi is Australian lol
jacob elordi isn't british...
JACOB ELORDI IS AUSTRALIAN
I am predicting Huller for Bafta AND the Oscar. Out on a limb I know...
That would be amazing!!!!
I'm praying for past lives to win the screenplay nod
Very overrated. Boring.

spider-verse
@@khylechristianderosales1894 I have no doubt Spider-Verse will win the Oscar as it should. I think Boy and the Heron might win BAFTA though. I tried to be a little different in some of my choices
Carrey will win bafta lol
There is a legitimate path for Zone to win best picture and no one is really talking about that
IT IS Not nominated at the baftas for it, so...
@@ChrolliForever I’m talking Oscars
It's not gonna win director or screenplay, it's got no chance. Anatomy has a much better chance if we're being honest
@@rafaelcruz9973 if I had a dollar for every time someone said that and then it went on to win BP, I’d at least have 20 dollars
How? It has no chance at winning director and I don’t see it winning screenplay either. No other movie this century has won BP without winning at least one of those awards besides Gladiator and Chicago.
If Sandra wins BAFTA and screenplay, I'm seriously gonna start to consider that Anatomy is 2nd to Oppenheimer at the Oscars
