As a shorter individual I liked this collection more than previous ones based on the boxy cropped fits on several pieces. For my body type I found a few gems to give my wardrobe a refresh.
I think one of the best piece I bought as a shorter person was a cropped Blouson jacket from last year. That one was so good. This U collection also has cropped jacket that's kinda good as well for different season.
It's not often but I don't like many pieces of this video except the coats but I have better quality ones from other brands... Same for the cargo, it looks like my Nike SB which I prefer. From Uniqlo U I've bought some oversized shirts to put instead of denim jackets over tank tops in spring (denim jackets are beginning to be too hot these last days). But again, I want to thank you, I have a lot of compliments on my style and you are one of my main inspiration thank you man!
I picked up the Parachute Cargo Shorts in Navy/Purple and the Zip Up Jacket in Blue when I was in Japan like 1-2 weeks ago (like 50% cheaper than US prices). Overall some interesting new pieces, but some things are wide for trend sake and too flimsy. Slept on the women's section, but briefly tried out the Boxy Tailored Jacket.
I’m in Japan right now and I’m feeling some of the GU pieces! Copped a dope gray washed fisherman vest from there. The sister brand is killin rn. Really feelin those Uniqlo churts tho
I can't tell if it's just because I've outgrown Uniqlo in terms of my style or if the collections are getting less interesting. I think it's a bit of both. They haven't innovated with Uniqlo U in a while.
Man, I just want some of those airism halfsleeve tees in bright colors, chrome yellow would be especially amazing. Btw., I bought two slightly different teals from them over time, one a touch more green and saturated the other more blue gray, why tf they keep calling these olive? What kinda goofy ass olives you eat? Cool with me though teal is my favorite color. I'd also love it if they did some ukiyo-E with this silhouette, I've got some cool raglan and striped half sleeves from them too, currently wearing white with olive sleeves over an olive long sleeve, these are 100% cotton and a bit of a different fit. As for direction, I'd love to see them get a bit less clean here and there, a bit more street, just some items.
Definitely a Great video and explained the pieces so well. Also, thank you so much for dropping the links and recommendation as such. I really have a hard time dressing up for summer as I want to look nice but not feel uncomfortable 😅
Stupid me I went with the vest instead of the utility jacket which I wanted in the first place and I was extremely disappointed with the vest and now the utility jacket is sold out of my size, I definitely need to check out those cargo shorts though! But definitely some disappointment for sure in this collection
@FlyWithJohnnyThai I appreciate the title. I've felt like the last few releases by Uniqlo (the U and C lines) have gone fast-fashion with poor fabric choices. Real dip in quality, lower quality than the Lifewear line. The acrylic knitwear, lower quality cashmere and abundance of polyester in the C line is bad. The latest U line has a lot of stiff fabrics too, didn't fit as well as 2023!

There is an updated version of the uniqlo drawstring shoulder bag, which comes with zippers, harder bottom and water bottle holders
Oh really? That's awesome. I'll keep an eye out for it
@@FlyWithJohnnyThai It's the bigger one you flashed in your video, dude!
They improved the strap as well. The original strap is way too stiff and uncomfortable.
Nice new setup! The lighting is great. Your video work is great as well! Love this channel.
Good stuff your honest review goes a long way.
I was thinking of buying the knitted T Shirt so thanks for the review on that! I'll save my money for something more special.

Appreciate the honesty man. Where did you get your button up shirts from? Love how you layered them here.
Olive clothing and 3.3 field trip. I'm gonna make a video on button ups soon 🙌
@@FlyWithJohnnyThaiAwesome. Looking forward to it, man!
Thanks for the video and for pleasant editing Johny!
I really enjoy your videos bro.
Your style is so unique and just dope‼️👌🏽🔥💯

ID on pants @ 0:33 ?
Good video, and hopefully Uniqlo can come back with something stronger next season.
I'm surprised you didn't go for the utility vest. That has got some gorp/tech vibes to it.
5:49 where’s the white shirt from?
And 2:04
Have you tried out there linen shirt?❤❤❤❤❤
I like Parachute Cargo Shorts. What size did you pick up? Also can I ask your height?

saw tim dissaint feature some knitted polos, they would fit you kinda since u do like techwear also
Sick video! What's the overshirt you're wearing throughout the video? That jawn is tough💯
loved the cargo boots combo👍👍

Your body size and purchased items size would of been useful to mention
Can you please review "THE SOULED STORE" ?
what other places would you recommend better cardigans for around the same price as these ones?
I was so disappointed at the lack of good bottom pieces and how this was the follow up to the insanely good fall winter before
Notice you wearing that beanie all the time. Where’s it from?
Thank you 🙏 love the jacket ❤️👏👏👏👏🇬🇧
Is the dry-ex tank top true to size?
Hey mate where's that shirt you're wearing from?
How about trying out their new Uniqlo C collection
Great idea! I'll look into it
I appreciate your review
UniQlo is my favorite brand. It’s a shame it is not in my country :(
What happened to the wide-fit pants, pleated and unpleated, they look good?
Didn't get those so I do not have an answer for you haha
@@FlyWithJohnnyThai You can't get everyyhing, that's true, but I also like the pinkish shirt.
What size did you get the black blouson in for reference ?
M but I could've gone with L as well
What is your Height
They've been using more and more blends of synthetic materials which is really disappointing.
dam that blouson sold out so quick in the uk :(
They really should’ve stuck with full cotton with the knits like the previous seasons, a pity that while the design is nice, execution is so bad.
Uniqlo quality has gone steeply downhill the last few years - I used buy lots of stuff from them but now days the quality is absolute trash.
The terrible pronounciation of blouson is peak
Nice calves my man!!! 💪🦵
I agree…all meh.
🔥🔥🔥

"I wasn't sponsored by them this time so let me clickbait the title". Good video but i didn't see a lot of meh from you.
Fair critique. However, 3 of the 8 pieces I bought were not recommendable. For previous collections, almost everything was recommendable
