I'm starting to fall out of love with Uniqlo. The designs are always nice but over the last couple of years their pieces have had a higher and higher polyester ratio, which makes them feel cheaper but with a similar price tag.

When I want something a bit more unique or higher quality like a wool jacket I look for some designer stuff on grailed and depop that has a huge discount on it. A lot of the fashion heads on there barely wear the stuff they are selling and the rest of the vintage stuff that is a bit more affordable tends to not be made of plastic. I get everyone isn't into buying clothes that are not brand new but I have added a lot of unique and high quality pieces to my wardrobe for around the same amount of money I was spending at places like Uniqlo.
i like most of these, but of course i live in tropical country so it's not gonna be the most comfy option for me, but thankfully the cargo pants isn't that thick which makes it useable.
If your in NYC get your parachute pants from Uniqlo's sister brand GU, they fit better for me being like 5'8" 165. As you guys saw in the video the Uniqlo parachute pants seem way to long but GU using their Japanese sizing has really good fits for my body type.

Where are these absolutely crazy fitting balloon suit/chino pants from? I know this video is about uniqlo, but outside Asia its hard to find wide balloon/carrot suit pants, so id be great if you could drop some brands that offer these fits. Issey miyake is the only one i know using this fit

I picked up the wide fit parachute cargo pants and I absolutely love them. I did not have the same problem as you regarding the length of the pants. What size did you get? I got my tts size s and an xs to compare sizing. (I'm 5'11" with a 29" waist.) I can see what you are talking about at 3:23 it looks like there is a large amount of stacking going on at your ankle. Luckily, they fit very well on me, ending right at the top of my instep. The difference between the XS and the S was pretty drastic. The XS was much slimmer fitting and ended too short in my opinion. If you are a taller/average height guy with a smaller waist size you are in luck because these pants will fit very well and are an amazing addition. However, I would watch out if you are planning to pick up a medium and you are 6' or shorter because these will be too long like Johnny said. I've already worn them many times this fall. Don't sleep on these!

True! I used to love their UT tshirt. But now the color will be faded away after just 2 or 3 wash. Bleh!

Ok just a small thing, Uniqlo upsizes everything for the other countries. So in Japan their large is a us medium, don't ask me how I know lol.

They upsize mainly for EU and US, I think. I went to Uniqlo store in Vietnam and the sizing is the same as in Japan.
