There was so much interference at times if you turned on the receiver before the transmitter.

Also: water-applied decals are fine. You just have to put Micro-Sol on them and some flat clear overspray.

Yes! Sounds awesome. I would love to get something like that but with my split minute reflexes I'm afraid it would end up as a pile of rubble in no time or fly off to "parts unknown".

The old school rx/TX used to do that because the crystal frequency was fixed, making the servos jitter all over the place if someone else was on the same frequency or sometimes even completely take control of it. Never seen it happen since spektrum came out with multi channels
I need to go see these things fly in person! Are there many rc planes at the air show?

Not certain that Abby didn't think, "Oh yes! Self-preservation!" when she purchased those heated gloves. (She's a Very Fine camerawoman - use yer "Glubs," Nate. It's only a couple of months out of the Year.)

crazy looking when it does that. Great video. This is THE best RC channel out there. I have one Rc plane which I really like and fly the most actually. Funnily enough it is actually the KF605 KFRC F35 foam parkjet. i really love it and bought it after seeing your video on it. The same thing happened to me as happened to you: its nose came off 🙂but i hot glued it and its still great after almost a year. Thanks for all your videos.

Hey Nate, great video. It’s pretty easy to see that you’re flying nose heavy. The location of the battery and the tendency of the jet were shown nose heavy for sure. I highly recommend you to try it much more tail heavy and you’ll see the change and also it will be much easier to land it in high alpha 😊
Some ppl prefer nose heavy characteristics, esp on a maiden. If it looks good feels good as Nate points out then I guess it's set up good 👍🏾
Waiting to see you perform the Cobra Manuver łike Maviric does on Top Gun? I know simulated dog fight would be difficułt but at least you could do the manuver.

I have reflex on a plane, and with some receivers it does exactly that. I think it picks up some weird stuff in the sbus port sometimes. Try another basic rx.
I should have tried another brand RX. I started with another Spektrum RX and it was completely dead, though I think it’s because I didn’t have a satellite RX plugged into it. I’m pretty happy how this is performing with the stabilizer, for me at least. Great tip! Thank you 🙏👍💯⚓️

Calculating the aerodynamic efficiency of Nate from the rc saylors, some thoughts👇
I see a cobweb in the nozzle. Do you think a spider got into the Reflex and is attempting to take control? On a serious note. My guess is the Reflex Gyro broke loose from the mounting tape and is just hanging there loosely. It must be glued down with double-sided tape solid or it will jitter like crazy. Sometimes it gets loose inside the plastic case and will do the same thing. Or it might not be like the RX you are using. Try a different satellite RX.

I like your channel and that is a beautiful Jet, it has been 56 years since I had a transmitter in my hand and I can not wait to get back into it. As a beginner again what is the best foam glue to use if a crash happens ? Thank You !
It’s not a good “official” recommendation, but I’ve been using high quality hot glue for 10 years now and have never had an issue. The only time it’s a problem is if I use the cheap dollar store junk. Hope this helps! 👍💯😎⚓️

Question for Nate, I'd like to know how you like the NX7E spectrum transmitter, I have a brand new one I have not used yet but wondering if I should of just gone with the 8 for another hundred bucks? I do not have any craft as of yet with 8 channels.
It’s a good budget radio! “Budget” for Spektrum, lol. I’ve turned it into my daily use radio and have maybe just one complaint so far. I really can’t see the screen at all outside on a bright day with my sunglasses on. I have to create shade and take my sunglasses off to see it, but otherwise it’s been a solid radio! Screen could be bigger, but not necessary. Personally I love the extra LED lights on it! They need to do more of that 👍💯😎⚓️
